Wow, you nailed it. In 1992 a girl played the song "Fortune Presets Gifts not According to the Book" for me, and prefaced it with: You may not like it, it isn't for everyone. I was in tears at the end of it and have never looked back. Thy have been a staple in my life for over 30 years. I love them.

And go get singing lessons with Donatienne at the IRCAM, she'll tell you the same thing. I'm not a singer, well, even if I happened to sing in some of my former bands, but it's the same thing about every musical instrument, it's thousands and thousands of hours of practise, nobody can sing like this without serious practise.

I am spellbound. This is a very very good orchestration of the Dead Can Dance piece. Soloist's voice is superb. I think that the end should have been sung by men like in the original. But I take my hat off to Diego Navarro for bringing this piece to an orchestral setting. Well done to Diego and whoever the orchestrator is. Wonderful work.
