1. Go to mixer brush
2. Uncheck load only solid colors at 1:59
3. If mixer brush doesn't load the color check on load brush at 1:59
4. Select a solid brush and set spacing to zero for best effect

Using 3D software is hella unnecessary. Anyone with knowledge of "Fake 3D" can easily create boxes, cars, and other 3D objects.

IMPORTANT: Sampling preview box has a small arrow next to it - If you click it you'll see 3 options - make sure that "Load Solid Colors Only" is unchecked.

Please do a vaporwave face picture
Create a gradient circle with your desire colors.
Choose mixer brush in the brush options.
Select hard round brush with hardness of 90% or whatever.
select dry heavy load
That square shape with solid color, click on the option and select clean brush.
Sample gradient circle you initially created
Create a new adjustment layer and start messing around.

why is that when i sample the gradient i only got 1 color?

I'm not sure how you're getting that banded brush at the beginning with the glowy edges! Thats crazy and have no idea what I'm even looking at, let along selecting it

Hey dude, thank you for the video but you go WAY too fast, no narration. I love the final effect but I had to download the video and watch it frame by frame on iMovie to even be able to do it.

It looks like Neon brush preset
I think that's just the screen-capturing software not being able to display the real, smooth look of the colour gradient! When he chooses another colour at 1:26 the colour-gradient also looks "wrong" / choppy! :D

Go to the "load color"/"clean brush" tab and uncheck the "load solid colors only"

Very confusing on how to get some of the brushes. No explanation
Jack Gebben Because it’s the basic round brushes. The first one is with hard round with no hardness, the second one is the standard hard round brush. Then they use the mixed media brush (shift + b) to make the gradient / shapes.

_Two things that I had problems with. One if you want your text to be squared & spaced like in the video make sure to select justify all under the paragraph tab of the character window. Two make sure your text layer stays as a text layer & doesn't become rasterised, I had no idea it happened to me & I couldn't edit my text. Spent an hour going wtf._

Great tutorial! I got it all except one part..how can i make colors to push each other like in 1:27? I've searched everywhere for a solution and cant seem to find it :( I'm using a soft round brush with the Wet edges setting, and when i try to mimic the video the brushes overlap. Can anybody give me a advice?

Wow, I always use Ai for these things but now Thanks for this secret, I think Mixer Brush was the least used tool!
I also think this is easier done in Illustrator tbh. Especially with blend and area gradient tools.

There are so many things that we can create using Ps, and can later convert that to vectors in Ps itself.
We can create logos completely in vector format in Ps too, but takes some time compared to Ai.
With this totally saves disk space, money, time to use Ai.
Adobe never includes these Ai vector things to Ps, cause if that happens Ai becomes BS!😊
@@pranaytony I work with prints a lot. Illustrator (and InDesign) generated pdfs are much more efficient and lighter to work with especially the color swatches and document dimensions (and bleed too). I don't agree making Ps to do everything. Even Affinity peeps know that. I love Ps as it is and it shouldn't be trying to be everything.

very late reply so probably doesn't even matter but i had the same problem, all you have to do is once you click the little arrow next to the block colour (1:59) just under clean brush there is an option to load solid colours only, for me this was already set so all you have to do is untick it! hope this helps

Took a little time for me to figure it out since im not on a mac, but if hold ALT and click the little T on your text layer, and not on the text itself then it should pop up. :)

how to show Brush setting like you at 1:11, i just move PTS CC 2015 to CC 2018 and Brush have a little problem, icon brush show long style, not point style. i really feel uncomfortable

Luca Ferrell I couldn’t get it either but just figured it out, go into your brush settings and lower the spacing to 1% (can’t do 0%) that seemed to work for me

Fyi: For 1:59, on certain occasions you need to switch from clean, to load, then to solid, after that you can pick the color you want.

FIX: for everyone having this issue, go to brush settings and change brush spacing to 1% (its 25% by default)

How do you select the text under the brush layer on PC? 2:40
Just quick select the text on the text layer then go back to the top layer and erase it however you please.
