I'll do some testing with Bricks later this week. It may not be as necessary in Bricks as it is in Elementor because you can already build anything you want directly in Bricks. The main advantage would be that you gain access to some nice pre-built templates and elements.
Interesting. Does the custom widget you create work with the Elementor dynamic tags or does it only work with individual images you add manually? Would want to create a widget which I can use to set the display image on the single post page template using dynamic tags
@@daveden2 the free version only works with wordpress posts. So if you want to use woocommerce or other types of tags it won't work so you have to upgrade
@@jarwa212 really? What Elementor Pro plan are you on? I thought I had tested it with other dynamic tags, but it may have been a third-party one. I'll test it again later on the free version.
@@daveden2 I have Elementor pro advanced. So i have all elementor pro widgets custom css etc. I tested this plugin the free version but only had access to the wordpress post tags. If I want to use woocomerce tags it say I have to upgade the plugin

The widget I created in the video is NOT accessible. But it was easy to copy from codepen

Yes, for each control (text, text area, image, etc.), there is a toggle to allow them to use Elementor’s dynamic tags.

@@jarwa212, thanks for letting me know. I wasn't aware of the restrictions.
