This song gets me in my feels. The way the vocals fought to overcome the powerful instrumentals filled me with the kind of hopeful fighting spirit I love.
I actually really like the energy of this song’s dance. It may not be powerful until the heavy bass drop, but it’s longing and yearning. I think that emotion really suits the intent of this song.
I feel like the opening sequence choreo suits the song very well actually. Frost and opening sequence are completely different songs with different meanings as well so frost was hard hitting because of its beat and lyrics, whereas opening sequence is more elegant because it suits the sound as well as the deeper lyrics. The energy different just because this choreo is more elegant and more modern dance based as well
Yes you are right!! It was wrong to compare them, cause obviously they have a different meaning and vibe. What I meant to say, is that this performance didn't struck me dancewise compared other songs, but in no way I'm denying their incredible talent and energy!! Thank you!!

When I see you I remember when I just discovered them, the first song I listened of them was loser lover, and I totally fell in love with their music, in the first day I watched all their mv’s and the next day I listened to their hole discography, and you’re right, they don’t have a bad song, the next month I watched a lot of funny compilation videos untill I finally could say I’m a moa. Next month it will be a year since I met them and I can totally say that they are the best thing that happened to me.
Also opening sequence is the first song of their last album: Minisode2: Thursdays Child, and its concept is to represent the 5 stages of grief, each song represents one stage, this song is denial

I'm commenting as I watch~ Kpop groups mostly use a back track for support when performing but you'll hear the difference with the volume and texture and would be able to tell when they chose to sing the part or not. I think you also noticed it~
That dance part you pointed out isn't as powerful I think because I feel it's on purpose. It's about a breakup and Opening Sequence is the Denial stage. Unlike frost that is more on madness, this one is more on that emotion, the yearning.
The whole album where this is from, Minisode 2: Thursday's Child is about breakup and each track represents 5 stages of grief.
I really recommend you to watch a txt guide (2022 by beomie bear, the most recent) you will not regret it‼

Regarding something missing in the performance, interesting comment! They changed the choreo. They took out some more difficult movements from the original. This was their first choreo with this style of modern balletic dance.

It's not their fault how Beomgyu is treated, but it's obvious the choreographer missed the point because he was the only one always not in camera and with no center. He could have had not many lines, but at least center and iconic dancing part.

Oh yes! I didn't mean to say dancewise, obviously they are very different songs, opening sequence was much more sensual too in some ways and melancholic, I also read the lyrics!! I meant to say that performancewise it didn't struck me as much as frost. But you are right, it was wrong to compare the two performances since they are so different. And I didn't intend in any way to deny their great talent and energy!!
