I used to use the dunk meter more when they originally fixed it, but on my 6'6 with 94 driving dunk i just choose which hand i want to dunk with, with the right stick instead of meter dunks and i get so many no-meter contact dunks, i think a lot of it comes from HOF slithery tbh

Do you normally aim the right analog stick same side at the defender or opposite? Example, if they on the right side, do you push the stick left or right

I find it hard to believe the reason for non meter contacts due to slithery. (A badge that reduces contests) I get a fair amount of posters with my 75DD. I think I’d rather have a 75DD/88-91 layup. Vs a 89+DD/82 layup.

Started the year w a 94 labbed the meter up and 89 driving dunk is the best overall. 90 will get u gold precision. But if ur familiar w the meter 89 is all you need. Ion miss any meter dunks

Mannn, im in between both.. would u say the gold precision dunk at 90 is a BIG difference over the 89 silver precision dunker?? I wanna go 94 but its too expensive for what i want on the build.. 90 is what i have on one of my other builds as well as having a 94 on one of my other builds but ive never tried the 89 (silver precision dunker)… is the meter a lot smaller at silver 89 than it is with the gold 90? If anyone can answer this, I’d appreciate it big time

I think the problem is you’re holding it.. I trigger it by tapping X really quickly while moving towards the basket.. and push my LS in the direction I want to go

A tip that works for me. You have to establish yourself as running towards the basket. Usually need 1-2 dribbles towards the basket to get the dunk meter and not do a step back or dribble move

I have a love and hate relationship with the dunk meter. When it works it works. Literally just lost a game because of it. It disappears at times way before you time it. Idk why they would allow it to disappear if it’s something you triggered. Anyone know why the dunk meter disappears at times ?
