Please Tom, drive around and knock al fence post in next to each drain cover & Paint the top 1 foot white. This is what we did it saves so much downtime and repair costs.
They will last years as long as you don't hit them..😉

Great idea Tom having 2 mowers. Though if it’s possible I’d say a better bet is putting a front linkage on your hulimann and run double mowers. Double the output but same labour requirements

I like the way your money is targeted at bringing the best results for your operation bearing in mind your budget. The mower demo makes a lot of sense alongside your Fert spreader purchase . I am also looking forward to the next surprise you mentioned.
Just wonder why he just doesn't get contractors that mow...
jonathonmathias53391- grass mowing i.e. when to mow is critical and having your own gear gives you that precise decision on when to drop your grass, which a contractor due to workload can't guarantee. The other consideration is contractors are not cheap and will they are skilful and fast with high quality gear they rightly I would say come at a price.
Sorry , that doesn't make any sense , the contractors that are doing your silage also do the mowing , for £10\acre , so they only work 1 farm ahead , my contractor will come in with 3 butterfly mowers and knock down 50acres\hr ,, they would do Tom's in about 5 hours , it takes him 2 days , with borrowed equipment , and he still managed to get 3 wet cuts..even last year ! They will do the complete job for £52\acre + diesel
@@jonathanmathias5339 You could be right for your particular operation Jonathan and I bow to your greater knowledge. However I still suspect contractor availability must play a part. The Pemberton’s are smart enough operators and have obviously tailored their set up accordingly.

Tom I’m surprised you not thought about changing the lower 2 arms to 3 point linkage to be quick release like the top one on your new tractor,so much easier
I just have to say that all the new paved areas are really paying off! Can’t wait to see you get a roof over the grass storage area and hopefully a building to store all your big tractors plus have a tool room too.

With the fastrac and the front mower and the 10ft on the back and the 9ft your tractor your knock some grass down in a day just watch out for the man holes with ollys mower.
I think Olly has given away your other surprise , dry week coming this week , some near me are still planting spring Barley , so wet and cold really buts its picking up now

we use about the same mower here in the states we just know them as a disk mower & They Cut any thing but rocks & Stumps ..lol. ours is a New Holland 10ft & They Do a Really Good Job..If You Know How To Run Them !

Tom I really think this mower would be a great addition to the farm. Its always handy to enlarge the work capacity so jobs can be done quicker. The farmer I work for has bought some brand new Kubota mowerconditioners. They do look great😁. The one thing thats special about them it has 3 blades per rotor🤨. Honestly I'm pretty excited to get to run them and I'm curious how they do prefomance wise and if the tractor can handle it even in heavy crops😅. We went from a drawn 3 meter lelly splendimo mowerconditioner to a front and center pivot Kubota mowerconditioner wich has a total working widt of 6,40m so that's a big change😅. It's always fun to test out new machines😊
