just want to know its like we are putting value in some fields nd what if there is one field which is required then the other fields will be save or not ??
I have one doubt, in contact object, firstname and lastname is not present under Fields & Relationship. Then why its not throwing error in Shrey's example ?
All standard objects won't be listed in the fields and relationships. In this case, Name would be under fields & relationships. In the name field, you would find that salutations, Firstname, and lastname are within the name field box. If you don't know the fields related to the object, use dot notation. Cancel Reply

Could you please clear, what is difference between sobject and apex object?
An s-object is a record that is inside an object. An apex object is either prebuilt or you add it with setup> object manager.
