Always knew Glenno was a trend setter but who knew that he’d set such a huge trend of every 200 that ventured out of a paved car park would snap its CV’s 😜 Great video as always guys 👍🏻
At no time has this group mentioned that they are on Kuky' Yao lands and they seemingly haven't respectfully sought permission from the Traditional Owners. The "Kingdom Come Road" is better known as "The Garraway" track. The "Wenlock Falls" are a sacred site of the Traditional Owners. Its disrespectful to go there. There's been no mention as to whether they had sought Wattle Hills which is not public land. Obviously no regard for the locals as they make access tracks less passable?
Another great adventure Roothy, would love to see what Steve would be driving now if he was still with us, he always gave the old lux everything thing it had to give, don’t reckon a current one would hack that, cheers Craig
With the popularity of the cape these days some of these long forgotten tracks should be opened back up, it might take some pressure off areas which are getting overcrowded.
In my mind throughout the video I was thinking that 200 series is going to break a CV, and boom it happened. am sorry about the situation but for some reason the 200 series is always breaking the CV's if pushed a little bit harder
I agree with the std dealer response line Phil but a) this was one of the first 200's in the copountry and 2) Glenno rang around, he's one of the best connected mechanics in the country. Couldn't even find anyone who'd had one apart.
@@JOHNROOTHROOTHY Agreed, they are certainly not a common failure. Many years ago I worked at dealerships and even if we had ten of the same thing roll in failed in a week we would be shot if we owned up to it to a customer.
Agreed, its a sad state of affairs. The positive I'm taking from lockdown is my old 80 will be ready to rock as soon as we can get back in the bush :D (plenty of Maintenance getting done).
Yep, wasn't happy when we started flogging products because a lot of good people lost their incomes but let's get real, eventually Supacentre = a development from the same people - got it right and Aussies got value for money - the existing big names were really ripping into the prices..
Lots of checking - having said that Jack got nailed by a tick out the back of Tamworth in the end. I found one, didn't realise there were two. Rotten little shits they are.
@@JOHNROOTHROOTHY sorry to hear that mate, not easy losing your best little mate. interested in travelling with my dog further up north, always been worried about snakes. run into trouble with them much?

The longer it takes the more fun the Track is.

Thanks Craig - we still miss Big Steve, pubs aren't the same without him.

My thoughts exactly - common sense hey!
genuinely great adventure roothy!
really enjoy these episodes !! everybody heading up the cape now will want to go and find and explore this track that your on!!
see new vehicles these days there's always some electrical problem that stops the mechanical parts from still working independently of each other.
I wish I could find a road that hasn't been driven in 20 years!!! Awesome!!!
There's a few out there but you need to get past the signs usually...
@@JOHNROOTHROOTHY thanks for the tip!

Yep and remember that anything Glenno punts has usually been hotted up too.
very nice
After the early 105s they're not worth buying unless you throw another 20k at them
the 200 cv snap is interesting bc now 200s are known for snapping cvs
hard to believe its the first. when was this trip
@@qksmith yeah id love to know. id assume just after the 200 was released
Who told you it was the first busted CV on a 200? The Toyota dealer😂? Standard dealer response " Ooh, we have never seen that before"

awesome you guys great video
Its too bad that in 2021 the only people that can enjoy this are Qlders, its not the Australia of old, Roothy

Yep, even we're not doing much. Like Jacob says. get plenty of work done on the truck! Get ready!
But then..every 200 in Australia!!
Hey roothy:) what made you stop
Filming with 4wd action ?
He left when they started to flog off heap shit through 4wdsupacenter. Guess he saw the writing on the wall...

Take a Victa next time and make your own track.
Another great adventure Roothy.
Did you have any issues with doggie and tics?
What solutions did you use for tic prevention?

Yep, it pays not to burn your bridges up there.
Hey Roothy, where is the Mahindra, would love to see that on a big trip. I think it would do it just fine............keep safe
I think out of the cuirrent crop it might be my pick too - watch this spot!
Why don’t u use a drone to recon possible options
I think this was filmed before drones were easily attainable mate
@@cameronembrey2389 that's exactly right mate - when we got drones it made track finding easy. Or easier...
❤❤❤
Maybe you guys need some big Russian trucks!!!
Shame about the CV .. Fuck towing trailers .. Great trip 👍
🤣🤣🤣 nobody collecting paking fees
that much sesame oil... it must have tasted horrible!
Nah, the jam balanced it out.
what's the matter with that dog ? is it weary of life?
Born stupid old Jacko - but a great travelling mate.
The Problem you have here is, there where no Nissan's, a Patrol could of done it 1wd 😉
Yes mate, it probably would have had one wheel left....
The days before a drone would have helped. 👍🏻🙏🏽😷🦘
