Great tips Chrissie! I have to look into getting some of the micro dots. LOVE the tip about using a large stylus to smooth out and round the cut edges of card stock. xx
Thanks Loll, I really don’t care for the look of cut edges of card compared to die cut edges… which is why I’m not so keen on electronic cutting machines, but using a stylus does makes me feel better about them 😄😄😄
Christine, regarding “opening” the two acetate sheets of the Micro Adhesive Dots, you might try either clipping the corner of one of the sheets (once you got the 2 separated), or adhere a tiny “flag” to the inside corner of one of the acetate pages, allowing you a handle of sorts to open the two. By the way, M A N Y thanks for e a c h of your videos!! Just got home yesterday after a couple of months away and I enjoyed binge-watching many of them this evening!!
Thank you for this... I discovered that once a corner had been lifted a few times from the micro-dot sheets, it was easier, but your ideas are so sensible, simple and easy, thank you! I'm delighted that you enjoy my videos and hope that there is a little to be learned from them... I'm basically passing on things I've discovered over the years.Thank you♥️
@@Chrissieannie I thank you for the compliment, Christine. ☺️. Your style, your voice, the products you share with us … ahhh, dear Lady, I thank you 🙏 once again for sharing what you’ve learned. Be well. We’ll touch base again. 🫶
Such great information. Thank you so much. I just love your giggle. My husband always knows who I am listening to the minute he hears your voice. Soooo fun. 😊
What a delightful video! You made me chuckle throughout with some of your comments! The micro dots are genius, as well as using the embossing pen to finish cut edges! Thanks! The card is really beautiful.
Chris, have to say that I thought I would pretty much know what you were going to talk about. How wrong I was. Lol. So funny that there is always something out there you have never seen or heard about. I am getting some of those micro dots on a sheet, right away. Really appreciate you videos, you are quite knowledgeable and of course I love your style. Thanks so much for your time. I used to be a teacher as well, and am now retired with lots of time to watch you videos and make new cards. Happy Times.
Great tips Christine. Fine dies are always a pain to adhere but these two products make it so easy. I have a roll of glue dots, which I’ve had for years and are OK, if a bit fiddly, but the glue dots sheets look a lot easier to use. I feel another crafty purchase coming on! Thanks again for sharing xx
simple, classy card - You again have inspired! Thank you!! I will use Kraft for the 3 embossed panels and heat emboss sentiment in copper (wish I had that "thanks" sentiment die but need to control the hoarding!). Not sure what the card color will be.
Great tips! Here in the US Amazon carries Grafix Artist-Tac Micro Adhesive Dots that are bigger sheets, easy to peel apart and a decent price point. I have found microdots to be a super solution to intricate die cuts easily adhering!! TY for your tips!!
I need to try those dots. Sometimes if I have a small sentiment, I put my double sided tape on the back of some card. I've heard you can cut through the foam tape, but I haven't experimented with that yet. ❤
I often use cheap double sided tape from Poundland to put on the back of card good die-cuts, but sometimes that get a bit too sticky and I get into a bit of a pickle, so I didn’t think I’d show that on a video!😃

Here in this video are the micro dots I was asking you about in the other video. Yay! Thanks♥But very hard to find here in the US.
Are you ok with sourcing them?
Oh no! Everything is from the UK. I can't find it here at all. I'll keep looking.

@@Chrissieannie Thank you so much!!
😊👍🏻
Thank you Christine, I can’t believe I found these dots in NZ
That’s brilliant!
I’m in NZ too, so can I ask where you found them as I can’t read the brand please
The brand is Stix 2 Anything!
Can't find the stix2 in the US but, Simon Says Stamp has something very similar. Sticky specks.
I imagine if you do a search for 'micro dots' various brands might appear. I'm sure lots of companies do something similar.😊
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
We Are Memory Keepers makes dots but they do not work well. Don’t buy them. I hope yours don’t fall off later……..
Stix2 dots are great !👍
