I listen to this song every once and a while. Lately I've felt like punching a wall and just screaming at the world, but if someone asks me how i "feel" I don't know how to describe it. He describes how i "feel" currently perfectly. I love this man. I only wish i was alive during his era. I missed out on a legend.

for years I had been searching for a way to describe my experience as a human growing up to the many psychiatrists and doctors that I have encountered. a way to let them see the world through my eyes. this man did it for me. it's a shame that he died.
i'd have loved the opportunity to meet this man but if this song is an indication of our similarities he probably would not like me very much.

Among many talents, his strongest has to be, being able to put in to words what many of us feel that we don't have a clue how to explain. That is until we hear songs like this. Then we express, he helped alot of people, and through his music he will a whole lot more.... for a reallllly long time. A true speaker to the soul. God Bless Michael "EYEDEA" Larson.

Eyedea's music helped catalyze my DIY approach to art and music. I am forever in debt to those moments outside Sacramento City College reflecting on the nature of reality with Firstborn in my earbuds. After being hit by his unexpected death, it was hard to ignore the obvious message in his music. Life is short and beautiful so enjoy it while it lasts.
    Thank you, Eyedea. RIP

i was so upset when i heard he died. i felt like a fool and that nobody would understand why i was so torn up when i had never even met him in person, but every single one of his fans was affected by his passing. i guess it was just a reminder that even heroes can die, but you can never silence them. rock on mikey. we all love you. its a bummer i will never be able to kick it with you on this planet, but hopefully i will see you again.

And Eyedea AKA Oliver Hart is not some new kid that just discovered Hip Hop like I read below, he is one of the most well repected and beloved underground MC's out there, and along with being a great writer, he is an even better freestyler/ battle rappers out there. He makes Em's shit in the end of 8 Mile look like childs play. I have seen him live with Atmosphere, best Hip Hop show I have ever been to!!!

Let me clear somthing up. This song you can only find on a compiltion album called "We Came from Beyond," that you can find on Amazon. (only song on the album by Eyedea though) It is not on the Oliver Hart album as is suggested in this video. But if you like this type of music, get the Oliver Hart album too, because it is full of like-minded songs.
