I absolutely adore this song so much, omg. Also, super minor, but at 2:36 - Element #38 isn't Silicon (Si), it's Strontium (Sr)! Can't believe I caught that. -Paintspot Infez Wasabi!
I appreciate your strong response to Neko's kick-ass vocals, which does cut through, as someone posted below. Before these impressive artists combined their talents, Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, and Dolly Parton combined on a couple of albums....like Lang, Veirs, and Case, they each had enough respect and appreciation for each other to combine in ways that created something greater than the three of them more than separate showcases, even though I think Linda Rondstadt's voice most often came through even more clearly and strongly. In such songs/moments, the other two had the grace, wisdom, and respect to allow Linda to power a moment or a song in spite of how successful and talented each were. The result is not only great music, but a testament to who we humans can be when we make that kind of choice. I feel that way about this music. Neko's voice and vision, I'm guessing, are particularly evident here, but I also hear and am grateful for what each of the three leads does. this music wouldn't be as magical without the three of them. And without the energy/vision/talent they assembled in service of the music and the struggle and progress they made in their work together. Much gratitude and appreciation to all three for a song that's still working its way through my being as I discover it years later.
After hearing this I now have to play it over and over because it is that good. It could only be better if they performed it as a quartet with Sara Watkins' voice and violin.
Its so oddly whimsical that people who say they were born in the wrong generation have never listened to music this good :D
Purchased the translucent blue vinyl album today. It's perfect. I've just listened to both sides. Loved it. Giving it another spin now. 😊🍺👍

It sounds like a Neko Case song. She can't help it, her voice will take over any song and make it her own.
Beautiful!

What is the meaning of this song
In an isolated and atomised modern world, by joining together we're greater than the sum of our parts.
Everything about this song and video screams White Owl by Josh Garrels, in a very, very good way.
slamthony dunktano
Lol heard this before finding dory came on 😅
Kinda reminds me of Giorgio de Chirico, only much more geometric.
