      @@JayeshChhaya It is literally 점바점(store by store). When I was Uni. student, me & my friends were refused to drink in/out of the convenient store table, so I asked to open the bottle and we just drank it while walking, lol. There's no legal problem, but many store owners/part timers don't like heavy drinker making any problem in there store. And it's easy to refuse their customers drinking in the store, because you can take a seat anyway, anywhere outside of the store and drink it. Just be careful not too noisy, and take your waste back.
      + We usually drink beer while using the convenient store table, not a high-proof alcohol like soju. It's not a strict rule, but it's common in normal area store.
      It could be OK, if you're at low social class town, since lots of ppl there drink high-proof alcohol daily, the stores make money from them.

    Soju is a very cheap alcohol that Koreans enjoy drinking.
    Soju is not a delicious drink,
    but reason Koreans like soju is not simply because of its taste.
    because soju contains the joys and sorrows of the difficult lives that Koreans have lived.
    so, if you realize the taste of soju, you havebecome Korean.

    Some foreign tourists find Isaac Toast strange because it has a sweet sauce. (Why is the toast sweet?)
    "Egg Drop" is a more premium brand than "Isaac Toast". It's definitely different, so I recommend trying egg drop toast later.
    The name of the “Sausage & Rice Cake” you ate at Namdaemun Market is “Sotteok.” (Sausage - So (Sau) + Rice Cake = TTeok in Korean)
    Because Namdaemun Market is visited by many foreign tourists, the sauce is not spicy. Sotteok from other regions is a bit spicier.
    Currently, the most popular drinks in convenience stores in South Korea are “zero calorie drinks.” (Zero Cola, Zero Fanta, and many other Zero drinks)
    Sugar is a big issue these days, so there is a trend to choose drinks that avoid sugar as much as possible.
    And you can drink alcohol on the street in South Korea. (It's not illegal)
    If there is a table outside the convenience store, you can sit there and drink comfortably.

    OMG this video!!!! i miss all street food in Seoul!! i love sotteok sotteok (that sausage and tteok stick)!! ^^ please try gyeran ppang (egg bread) too, its sooo good!!
    that almond store at Myeongdong is new, i usually bought at Hongdae, that almond snacks indeed so good!! my fave is the honey butter, starlight pang pang (try this one, its nice and interesting) and jeju hallabong almond ^^
    haha i also dont like soju, flavoured soju (fruity taste) is better and maekgeolli (rice wine) is sooo good!! 😁
    and anyway for convenience store, i prefer GS25 than C U, banana milk is the best, try the melon milk too, i tried so many flavoured milk in Korea and all are good!! 😁

    Toast etc is not a Korean thing. Korea has their own breakfast which is usually a bowl of rice, soup and the side dishes.
    What you think is breakfast is usually just for a snack.

    • @JayeshChhaya
      @JayeshChhaya  3 месяца назад

      Great to know! We actually struggled with breakfast options in SK: we didn't really see cafes/breakfast places to be a popular thing in the mornings 🤔 So we ended up having Kimbap from 7-11/GS25 and toasts from Isaac Toast/Egg Drop.
      Would you say that breakfast is not a huge thing in South Korea?

    • @Pulpswo
      @Pulpswo 3 месяца назад
