The ‘90s Are All That Bumpers (2013-2015)

It's been a while. Well, hope you enjoy these. The ‘90s Are All That block was one of the only things I would ever watch during the late night hours back from 2012 to 2015 (aside from Toonami), so when I found these, I thought they might fit somewhere on the channel (also because the block has since been shut down). As always, drop a like for more.

Glad to see that we've progressed far enough that these bumps, initially meant to invoke nostalgia, can be considered in themselves nostalgic.
I remember in 6th grade staying up late on Friday nights, (11 PM was when it started for me), loving Hey Arnold (so much so that I went out to FYE to buy season 1 on DVD and watch it religiously), typically falling asleep on the couch during Rugrats, then waking up disoriented as all hell to a random Maybelline ad at like 1:45 AM and then waltzing my way to bed. Very good times indeed - also I'm very glad I never bought one of those sketchy "complete series of Hey Arnold" DVD's on some random sketchy site that, at the time, I was unable to recognize as such.

@@chrisrockett5897 especially one that I could walk into any Walmart and buy - I only had seasons 1 and 2 as those were the only widely released, of course the other 3 were available online via Shout’s website but my parents were still not too keen on e-commerce yet lol

I didn’t grow up in the 90’s but I remembered staying up late to watch the 90’s are all that to see the cartoons and shows I missed.

The first one is my favorite. My summer nights in middle school were spent watching this block late at night while drawing on the Oekaki boards on Chicken Smoothie. I miss it.

There's a good reason 90s are all that was midnight material. The promos, bumpers, atmosphere of the whole thing. Idk it just feels like it was trying to be late 80s/90s nick, but way WAY MORE EXTREME. I mean look at 0:22. WOAH! it starts out like a verison edited to be slightly faster then the original (as nick usually does to get more commercial time) then suddenly put of nowhere, it just turns into this loud insane crazy Rock Punk song out of nowhere, making the bumper much more terrifying, as if the wolves howling at the end of the original wasn't already unsettling enough. Everything else here is this odd early 2010s type remix to the songs, which always confused me. Then the splat got pushed to 10 because it felt more like they were going for actual late 80s/90s nick outside the actual aired shows

2. Rocky and Bullwinkle
3. The Underdog Show (with tv segments except for Twinkies The Elephant)

We wanted 90’s Nick to become it’s own app or streaming channel. Putting a few shows on Paramount Plus wasn’t the answer. Even Pluto 90’s did a better job than Paramount.
