The LaBiancas we're coming back from what I believe was a weekend trip with their boat. They stopped at a gas station and bought a newspaper and were discussing the Tate murders of several days before with the clerk. Terrifying and sad to think that a few hours later they themselves would be victims of the same.

@@elsmeervd4893 unfortunately, shithead Manson died in prison at something like 82. I wish I believed in hell but I just don't. He got to live and so did the others while Sharon Tate and her baby and all the others have been in the ground for over 50 years. An immeasurable injustice. They should have all been executed 50 years ago. If anyone had ever done that to any of my loved ones, they would hope they'd better stay in prison because I would use my last breath making sure they never did it to anyone else.

This happened before I was born but every summer, they seem to air a doc on the Manson murders and the LaBianca's get very little coverage. I think it's sad, they were brutally murdered in their home by those psychopaths and they get forgotten about . It's horrible what happened to all of the victims but I always felt no one really paid any attention to Rosemary and Leno , they lived a quieter life and weren't famous so they get a little blerb and that's it. So sad to me. Thanks for including them and not making it a 2 second thing.

I think they got their fair due. The murders came to be known as the Tate-LaBianca murders. It’s Steven Earl Parent, the 18 year old who was the first victim shot in his car on Cielo that tends to be forgotten. He and Gary Hinman, and Shorty Shea, who were each killed by the Family in completely separate incidents.

Kind of weird that your parting shot of the house has a crow cawing and flying over the house. These murders had the city of Los Angeles in absolute terror in late summer 69'. It definitely shows the fragile nature of life and the strange power that one demented mind can have to "control" the actions of others. Awesome video. @@josephrivett7378 Can't speak for Axl either, but I do know that Sharon Tate's sister Patti actually confronted Reznor while he was still there. He had the nerve to name his Tate house studio "Le Pig," after the word "Pig" which had been scrawled on the front door in Sharon's blood by one of her killers. "Are you exploiting my sister's death by living in her house?" Patti demanded. Though Reznor initially denied it, he later admitted that right there, Patti deflated his rationalizations and made him think. Good for her, for bringing about a change of heart in Trent Reznor.

My late Mom when she came to visit, had no interest. The convent next door is prime real estate and Katy Perry tried to buy it 5-7 yrs ago, there was a dispute over who owned it and the sale didn't go through. Great job using old photos to show what it looked like at the time of the murders. They changed the house number after the murders, it was 3301, changed to 3311, not sure what yr they changed it?

I believe your right about the 3rd house being the one that was occupied by a Harold True, whom the LaBiancas had complained in the past about "pot parties" being held (and raided) right next door. I really hope this is not a tear down, and whoever buys it loves it and is happy there, despite its dark history. I think bad things happen everywhere, we just dont always hear of them. I was 14 when the murders happened and being a Hollywood freak even at that age who used to live in Southern California, I was enamored of the case from the very beginning. I started a scrapbook from the day after the murders till the end of the trial that I wish I still had but I tossed it years ago. I never had any confusion about who the villains were, that may sound strange but Manson quickly became a cult figure who was admired by many, unbelievably. I've seen pretty much everything Manson but stopped watching it quite some time ago because it's just too depressing, but I like your output so wanted to see this. So tragic that Sharon Tate and the others, including her baby, have been in their graves for over 50 years while most of the culprits still breathe. They should have been Zapped.⚡⚡⚡

Absolutely loved this video! Thank you for all you guys do. & I love how respectful you guys are, you go about all things the right way & it’s very commendable & honorable. Doesn’t go unnoticed!
I wish I could travel back in time & cross paths with these people in a safe way, maybe as a fly on the wall lol already knowing what I know now. Just to witness how they acted, the things they did on that farm, the way they spoke to each other & did things would have been crazy to witness. I’m just so curious how these women acted around Manson & how they all were back then.
I kinda just wanna witness the 60’s period Lol

Hey, I enjoyed this video. My mum was a deep The Beatles fan, and she spent the last few years of her life dealing with lung cancer. I am glad she out she managed to out live Manson, with it only by 12 hours.

Rather coincidental that a crow/raven flies over the LaBianca house with a squawk as you make your closing statement. I appreciate how respectful you are at the properties and gravesites.

Correct about 3267 Waverly Drive! Manson's friend Harold True lived there in 1968 and Manson attended LSD parties there.

A warning to heed. When you got close to the two Square columns outside the fence you risked a snakebite. When there is shade under foliage a rattlesnake can be found there. Get used to California Bro we don't want you hurt.

Leno LaBianca was previously married to a different woman, so maybe it's her tomb next to his? A lot of couples buy plots together when they're married, but sometimes forget to or don't bother to rearrange their funeral arrangements after getting divorced.

    • @ghostcityshelton9378

It may have been Manson say "hi' from .....below. 😨
That might be where matinance is done and could have been workers or maybe sprites, it's possible.
I never feel alone in a cemetery. Only once I felt uneasy and looking behind some tombstones there were beheaded chickens so weird stuff was done there.
In the children's section I got a very faint EVP warning of; " No drink Rucker food place water."
I was visiting a fellow soldier at Fort Rucker, Al. at the time and we were going to eat at the mess hall after leaving the cemetery. I refused to eat at the mess hall and we ate at MacDonald's.
STRANGE BUT TRUE. Someone had put dead birds in the water tank and many soldiers got really sick I don't remember if some died.
We went back and thanked the little children's sprites and left them some toys. This was 1974 - 75 ish or so, not sure.

I live on the east coast in Maryland. This story was pushed so hard by the media, people here began to lock their doors at night and kept guns very close. Most of the people I lived around were farmers, bluecollar workers or watermen. They never cared for hippies much anyway, but after this they dispised them, and anyone who did drugs.....
