Kind of weird that your parting shot of the house has a crow cawing and flying over the house. These murders had the city of Los Angeles in absolute terror in late summer 69'. It definitely shows the fragile nature of life and the strange power that one demented mind can have to "control" the actions of others. Awesome video. You never disappoint your legion of Grimmlifers with these informative, yet somehow macabre segments. Creepy! We love it! Keep them coming, we can't wait for the next one!
They were kids eager to follow, and the drug use helped a bit with Manson's scheme.

I never knew they were located so near to my family member's gravesites. Have to go visit them next time I am in LA.
Great video. I clearly remember when the Manson murders took place. My mother and I were fascinated, and we found the gate to the house on Cielo Drive, where Sharon Tate and the others were murdered. I can't remember whether we looked for or found the LaBianca house, but I can't imagine we wouldn't have.
Of course, with no GPS back then, we had to follow paper maps to get where we were going!

I use to live at 3901 Los Feliz in the mid 80's, when I told friends how close I lived to the LaBianca's, most everyone wanted to go have a look. My late Mom when she came to visit, had no interest. The convent next door is prime real estate and Katy Perry tried to buy it 5-7 yrs ago, there was a dispute over who owned it and the sale didn't go through. Great job using old photos to show what it looked like at the time of the murders. They changed the house number after the murders, it was 3301, changed to 3311, not sure what yr they changed it?
I Love the Silence in the cemeteries.... My loved ones are spread all over in Southern California and when I visit them it’s just so calming... God Bless the Souls of All these Beautiful People and May they All Rest Peacefully 🙏🏻♥️
In my 12 years of catholic school we just called them “kneelers”.
In the Church of England, we call them kneelers as well, mainly used in church when knelt in prayer
So fascinating. I could never live in a house that had such a violent crime happen. I'm weird because I believe buildings, even land...trees...absorb energy. Not enough sage in the world. 😆
My mom used to drive past this house every day. She saw all the cops there and just wondered until the 6 o'clock news what happened there. We lived about 2 miles away from this house. My sister closed up our house at night in the summertime. We didn't have AC just fans to draw up the cool air to the second floor and the heat out. Our house was an oven in August because of the Mansion family.

It was the house directly east, 3267 waverly. Manson walked up the curved drive, and cut across the lawn to the LaBiancas

Correct about 3267 Waverly Drive! Manson's friend Harold True lived there in 1968 and Manson attended LSD parties there.

Leno LaBianca was previously married to a different woman, so maybe it's her tomb next to his? A lot of couples buy plots together when they're married, but sometimes forget to or don't bother to rearrange their funeral arrangements after getting divorced.
It may have been Manson say "hi' from .....below. 😨
That might be where matinance is done and could have been workers or maybe sprites, it's possible.
I never feel alone in a cemetery. Only once I felt uneasy and looking behind some tombstones there were beheaded chickens so weird stuff was done there.
In the children's section I got a very faint EVP warning of; " No drink Rucker food place water."
I was visiting a fellow soldier at Fort Rucker, Al. at the time and we were going to eat at the mess hall after leaving the cemetery. I refused to eat at the mess hall and we ate at MacDonald's.
STRANGE BUT TRUE. Someone had put dead birds in the water tank and many soldiers got really sick I don't remember if some died.
We went back and thanked the little children's sprites and left them some toys. This was 1974 - 75 ish or so, not sure.
Scott Micheal from "Dearly Departed" ( in Los Angeles) would know where Mrs. LaBianca's ashes are spread.
Hey, I enjoyed this video. My mum was a deep The Beatles fan, and she spent the last few years of her life dealing with lung cancer. I am glad she out she managed to out live Manson, with it only by 12 hours.

In a weird twist of fate, Rosemary LaBianca's granddaughter, Ariana Jean Wolk, was found stabbed to death in her home on July 3 2020.
I agree. Wojciech’s son was also stabbed to death, I believe, in Poland.

My mother in law babysat for a family that lived in that house when she was a teen, after the murders. She said it was a gorgeous house
Rosemary wasn't tied up. She was in the bedroom with Leslie VH and Patricia K and that is where Rosemary was killed. So sad.
She was tied up in the bedroom.
Rosemary Labianca was tied up with a lamp cord around her neck and a pillowcase over her head when she died.

The wooden thing toward the end that you kneel down on is just that, a kneeler. Or prayer bench. There's different designs and different names.
And Jessica was probably correct in that's it's property of the cemetery and is there for anyone who needs to use it in front of any crypt they wish. It's an easy way to kneel without getting the knees scuffed up or having trouble getting back up. It's even a formality for some people who don't even necessarily need to use it.

I think Mrs. LaBianca's ashes were taken to Africa . Another weird thing happened, last year her granddaughter was stabbed to death in Colorado. Ariana Wolk is her name . RIP to all the victims. God Bless

“Kneeler” that is what is called. Since it is a Catholic cemetery we pray for the repose of the soul of the dead. My great grandparents are buried there as well.

And another point of fact is that one of the nuns died trying to fight the case against the purchase of the monastery/Nunnery
She did not. That fell apart. Before Covid used to see monks on a walk in the neighborhood.

When I was a child we lived in Simi Valley but would shop in the San Fernando Valley. Sometimes and very seldom, my dad would pick up a hitchhiker up Topanga Canyon Blvd. and they had us take them to Spahn Ranch on the Santa Susana Pass Road which was on the way home to Simi Valley. Just think we could have had Susan Atkins or Linda Kasabian in our car dropping them off at the entrance of the Spahn Ranch where Manson and his followers lived. We thought back then it was safe to pick up hitchhikers, but apparently not.
I remember 1969 like it was yesterday. The whole world turned upside down when Vietnam ended. Then came the commune's, peace, love, sex and rock and roll. Haight-Ashbury and the world has never been the same. I think in our youth we are all counter-culture in some way but what was born after that senseless war and the tormented minds of the soldiers who endured has been nothing short of Hell ever since. I remember a commune behind us and upon the fence was a dead kitty with a pink ribbon hanging on the fence. I took it down and kept it's little bones. I was 9 and fascinated with the macabre, still am but more in a Victorian Gothic way. I will never forget those murder's, nor Charles Manson. What a scary, chicken shite creep he was. I believe the house next door belonged to a Beach Boy and Charlie was desperately trying to get a music career. When he couldn't, like a toddler he threw a tantrum and the Tate's and La Bianca's paid the price. Loser. But time opens everyone's eyes, and so it did for Tex and the girls. When they grew up they were horrified at their crimes. As they should be. Love you guys!

Just looked up info on this house apparantly it has been owned by 2 owners since the LaBiancas. IT sold in 1998 for $325 000, was purchased in 2019 for 1.98 million, and then was put back on the market in 2020 for 1.99 million. Not sure if it sold or not though,
Sold for 1.85 million, June 2021.
My husband and I nearly bought this house in the neighborhood. It was looks loos and Manson freaks that made us not. It’s really disconcerting when people show up there. My friends family who bought it recently sold it due to the constant people coming by. Despite the change of the address 🤔

My aunt lives on this street and was personally responsible for him selling. Not only was it going to cause more traffic, but making it a museum is just a tacky way to profit off their deaths. I never cared for Zak. He's just too fuckboyish for my taste. Plus he overblows everything, makes connections out of nowhere, and that gives other paranormal investors that strive for legitimacy a bad name. He should give it up.
The LaBianca house sold this month (June 2021) for $1.875 million. The walled place down the street is a former convent, which Katy Perry tried to buy.
Zak Bagans had hoped it would. He recently reduced the price of the LaBianca murder house in Los Angeles to $1,999,000, shaving a couple of hundred grand off the $2.2 million he listed it for in October 2020.

I was 2 years old when these murders happened. So sad what happened to Sharon Tate and all those people. I'm glad the killers were caught and are being punished for their crimes.
