Humanity: Shows up when natural disaster occurs, helps the wounded and fix civilization, leaves, refuses to elaborate further
Galactichad
@@basrengangetch.2042 Lmao
Gotta love space red cross.
or crescent.
...or crystal.
@@charliedulol Does it matter? Cross? Crescent? Fractal?
What matters is not the symbol, but the intent and actions. I use Red Cross, because I am a Brit, you may use Red Crescent because of where you come from. Either way it does not matter, it means the same thing, the best of humanity..... As I said, the symbol does not matter....
@@alganhar1 shees, pardon my knowledge on variation on the symbol, didn't mean to offend you by acknowledging those shapes.
@@charliedulol ya forgot red concentric circles
@@jayeisenhardt1337 didn't knew about that one, is it new or just unpopular?
Someone must be cutting onions. Great story and reading. That any of us being better can bring out the best in others and,, redemption. Thanks.
Finally one where it isn't just guns blazing.
This is less humans as space orcs and more humans as space elves
So many Onion Ninjas hiding in these stories. Thank you Wordsmith, thank you narrator!
Yea that was heart warming.
Gods f-me that was a good one:
Algorithm appeasement comment
So we basically became interstellar disaster relief cryptids.
Like being saved by a mermaid when shipwrecked.
Alien: >cuts himself.
Human: >rips door open
>þrows first aid kit across þe room
>closes door
thank you for using the thorn
You are a thorn in my side, old man
Þis is þe best comment here. Þank you.
Wow ok I quite agree with the resurgence of the use of the thorn
Why did I completely understand this comment and then learn what a “thorn” is in the replies?
Last time I was this early, humans were still limited to low Earth orbit...
lol
"You are welcome on ours."
Oh God damn it, I'm such a little bitch.
😭
You are not alone
Ah! My eyes! Where did this star dusk come from??
Same
It's a terrible day for rain.
🎶rain drops keep falling from my head🎵
Great story to listen to while I drive to biology lab, keep up the great work.
So much vibes of "Humanity's Debts". I love it when humanity is shown so powerful yet so ... humanitarian.
Not only was help granted at a single crucial period, but to inspire others to help in other such periods as well.
This was one of the better stories.
What a magnificent story!!! SO AMAZING!! :)
This is the best of the Space Red Cross stories! 👍🏾
Where did they come from, where did they go. Where did you come from twelth star folk
So the Rednex are an intergalactic rescue squad?
The end reminds me of another story the narrator did.
Finding Earth
It's still one of my favorites.
that's one of the Greentext ones isn't it?
@@willparry530 yeah, should be.
@@Zander2212 I think I know which one you mean. they search for hundreds of years, finding more humans, but each time, until the very last, it's more lost colonies, not Earth itself
Damn, that last line. Nice to see us not being weirdos or crazy murder apes for once.
I'm not crying! You're crying! Stupid dust. Need to clean up in here.
How do you have the ability/tech to hollow out Jupiter's core but not the tech to unfuck the earth? What did they do?
Sometimes radiation just has to decay.
could be that radiation is just so pervasive that it's easier to manipulate gravity than to clean it up.
tbh they might be able to but decide not to, much like the holocaust museums its a lesson for future generations that you can only experience in person.
@@cheeseninja1115 Maybe, but I consider it unlikely considering the tone of the message
They probably thought they were not worthy to, and it was more symbolic. Like we are not worthy to have this planet as our home until the radiation decays on its own.
Oh Jesus them fucking onions.
Fuck yeah humans.
Gods damn it I'm back again
An uncaring universe offends us. We'll show this stupid universe.
So humanity became ONE MASSIVE EMERCOM?
oh... well i was NOT ready for the feels
*cry in prime directive*
In this future the prime directive is as dead as earth.
@@J0hnB09They're more like guidelines...
The prime directive has always been useless. Change my mind.
@@MrSqurk the only purpose of the prime directive is stoping their humans from historys of their past, take a look at the first colonilation of india, inventing the cast system, africa, the secobd wave to india with the british hundreds of years later, america, giving tge middle east acces to the internet and therefore spark an exodus for prosperity
The only place that teaches us how it's done right; north korea - don't interfere there and they don't become a problem for us! Until they develop their technology on their own
@@doppelhelixes except the federation exists in a utopian future with infinite resources. They do not need exploitation, the only thing the Prime Directive does ensure that they let disasters happen.
Ps. The only time the prime director be is mentioned is when they are about to break it.
Bless the Author
Bless the Narrator
Bless the rains down in Africa
Humanity teaches compassion by example.
Is that what space orcs do?
Regardless, great story
The author could do with a brush-up on writing in English, but I only care because he's fantastic at story telling and it seems a shame that such a great story should be marred by missing words and clumsy sentence structure.
Seriously, I want someone to take this tale and turn it into a full-length movie. Done right, it would be great.
For the space red cross.
OH MAN, MY HEART--THE FEELS!
Dude... :,)
For the algorithm!
Ah so we became super edgy but in reality we are softies who just want to help
love these stories
HFY's a fun genre.
I often give my brain a rest from noise by turning off the sound and brightening the display, so I can read the stories. Unfortunately, your persistent use of blurry micron sized print makes that impossible. MAKE THE FONT BIGGER AND NOT BLURRY!
My brain sometimes really needs quiet. One would think that I would have quiet during a 21 hour power outage that started 2 days ago and ended yesterday afternoon, but NO! My earworm missed the sound of the refrigerator. I HAD TO LISTEN TO PHANTOM FRIDGE NOISE THE ENTIRE TIME!👻🤦😖🙄
Update: Just finished listening to the audio version of this story. I liked it and saved it.
HFY plus XFY, hell yeah
At least the death ir near death of earth did not drive humanity crazy and xenocidal in this story like all the other stories. Even if they dud it to themselves.
the Absol of the galaxy
So redcross Quarians.
good
Why do i see our future...
Wouldn't be ironic if we were the ones that cause the problems, and then fix them to teach them a lesson about cooperation......
would be, but I doubt that's the feel being looked for :P
Sweet
Me too
Unsubscriped as op purposly cant muster the 5 sec it takes to make the text larger. Stay small, you deserve it.
🤨
Stay mad
weird flex but ok. I just click the link and read it on Reddit, much easier that way. Besides, it's not *that* small.
You click on a video with someone reading the story.... So you can read the story? But don't take the 5 seconds it takes to follow the link to the original story post?
