Magnus could do anything and everyone will call it a God Tier move...Truth is...hes so great at chess that even he gets bored and tries new things once in a while. Moving your King on move 3 is horrible 99.9999999999% of the time...Lets stop going crazy when these geniuses get bored and switch thing's up
Magnus' genius doesn't lie in that King move, it lies in how he managed to win such a game with a big drawback in an elegantly beautiful manner. People forget that.
Qc6 The bishop can't take the queen because of the rook checkmate So he is forced to bring his queen on c8. But then we have rook to d8 pinnig the queen to the king. If queen takes the rook Qxb7 is a mate and if bishop takes the queen.rook takes the black queen on c8 which delivers the checkmate
Today is a special day for Indian🇮🇳🇮🇳 chess community. There was a time when Russian players were called murderers in the chess world due to their killer performance. However, today on September 1st, our country India surpassed 📈Russia in team ratings in chess ♟️. It's also the first time India has crossed a 2700 rating in team ranking, officially making us the number 2 country in the world. We're currently behind by 27 points from the world number 1, USA. One more record broke today, After 37 years, India has a new number 1 chess player, GUKESH D. He has surpassed Vishwanathan Anand in Elo rating. Vishwanathan Anand had consecutively held the title of India's number 1 for 37 years. Now, the 17-year-old Gukesh has broken that record and become India's new number 1. Let's go India 💪♟️🇮🇳
Mine was during a 10 min game, I was white and I missed m1 with my queen on f2 guarded by my knight instead I made a premove to give check with my queen completely missing a bishop protecting that square. I was 3 mins ahead and I anticipated my opponent would resign due to time shortage
puzzle solution is Qc6!!. if bishop takes then Rd8 Queen blocks and then Rxc8 checkmate. if bishop does not take then we are already threatening checkmate on b7 so queen has to go back and defend on c8 as well as offering a queen trade now we play Rd8 pinning the queen as well as threatening to capture the bishop on b7 with checkmate. now if he takes our queen we take his queen with checkmate, and if he takes our rook then we take his bishop with checkmate xD black are completely hand.i.caped and they resign.
Once I was trying to take a pawn with my queen, but by mistake placed it one square back as it was online (My mouse got a bit laggy or somethig). It was free queen to my opponents pawn now. I thought I had lost, but then he RESIGNED! (sacrificed the GAME) Ig he thought I was some kind of a gm or something and I had done a great sacrifice.
I can never forget my mistake. I was clearly winning in a tournament. I had a king, queen and an extra pawn and my opponent was left with a lonely king. My pawn was ready to promote and his king was stuck in the right top most corner. My king and queen had locked him there and my pawn was going to promote right next to him. I was desperately low on time and in attempt to make check-mate, I under-promoted to a rook hoping to end the game. That moment, my opponent stood up and said, "Game over. It's stalemate. If you had promoted to a queen, it would have been check-mate." That was one of my most frustrating losses
I am just a newbie in chess but now have won award in school chess competition of first place due the checkmate I have seen on this channel thank you ❤
Puzzle answer is Nc6...... If bishop don't take then Qb8# And if bishop takes night on c6 then Queen take back with check and black king has only one square (forced move) to b8 and then Rook d8 check black has only one move that block the rook check with Queen and then everybody know which is the winning move....... ❤
My biggest blunder was when I was playing an online game and was having a pawn and queen against a rook. I managed to fork and made a premove of taking the rook but missed that the rook could block and after that premove i resigned because I lost my queen for free😢😢
knight c6. it renders an immediate qb8 checkmate threat, if black takes knight, queen check and enemy queen is gone and checkmate. best defence for black is rook g8 .....now knight takes a7 pawn if king takes rook a1 checkmate, best defence for black is qa5. ..... but now its just a matter of time ..the queen will be gone by this combo of moves wee can easily checkmate the black or at least take the queen
I like watching your videos and get to learn new things , I also practice a lot, but when I play tournaments with my opponent, I make silly mistakes and at last lose ka match 😢...
A few days ago i played my first college tournament of i mange to 4 wins out of 7 and my blunders was that I didn't not exchange ruk which was near my king and so he gives that famous check using knight and queen
My biggest blunder was when i forked the king and rook and opened a discovered attack on the queen and when the king moved, i took the rook thinking if he takes, i can take the rook, but that did, nt happen and he checked me with the queen, took my knight then and later mated me with his promoted queen in the endgame
Puzzle- 1.Qc6 (attacking the bishop and also threatning checkmate in Qxb7) (If Bxc6 by black then Rd8+ Qc8 is the only move and Rxc6#) (After Qc6 by white if black plays Qc8 (to support the bishop) Then the stunning move comes... 2.Rd8!! (If he takes the rook Qxg7 is mate) and( if Rg8 by black then Rxc8+ ) Rxc8 is not possible Therefore, Bxc8 Qc6+ by white Bb7 and Qxb7#.
10:27 my biggest blunder was in an otb tournament when i was a beginner and blundering a rook think it is a backrank checkmate and shaking hands . The amazing fact was that even my opponent didn't realise that it was not a checkmate until the arbiter came to check and told my opponent. But still my opponent just blocked the backrank checkmate instead of capturing my rook! I instantly realised and removed my rook . I saved the game and shaked hands checking once more if this time it was a checkmate or not.😅😂😂
Your english is as good as your chess is...proficient in english speaking...i just wanna ask u a question..have u ever think of preparing for Management studies(CAT EXAM)
The biggest blunder I've ever made wasn't anything special, it was just a simple queen blunder. Or maybe my biggest one was asking for a draw when I was a queen up.
My dad is good in chess that he ends up accidentally mating me and trapping my queen. I even blunder my own queen for other pieces thinking that was free.Sometimes I do that

The other grandmaster blundered quite a few times otherwise they'd win anyways

So he is forced to bring his queen on c8.
But then we have rook to d8 pinnig the queen to the king.
If queen takes the rook Qxb7 is a mate and if bishop takes the queen.rook takes the black queen on c8 which delivers the checkmate
He is back❤
Qc6 is not possible it is white turn to move
@@anjalizalkikar2072dude which queen do you think he is talking about🙄
His Answer is Correct he is talking about white move
If there is Qc6 then black can take the knight on a5 with the pawn and if white takes bishop it ultimately loses the the queen
I blundered my Queen by a skewer but through that skewer his rook moved from backrank and I gave him a back rank checkmate
Wow, that must be a great blunder to remember 😀
@@ChessTalkIt's not a blunder now, it's a sacrifice. 😂

Queen to c6 and after bishop taking queen rook to d8 is checkmate . Otherwise if he didn't take the queen in next move taking bishop is checkmate
Pls upload chess trap again..luv yr video
Puzzle-
1.Qc6 (attacking the bishop and also threatning checkmate in Qxb7)
(If Bxc6 by black then Rd8+ Qc8 is the only move and Rxc6#)
(After Qc6 by white if black plays Qc8 (to support the bishop) Then the stunning move comes...
2.Rd8!! (If he takes the rook Qxg7 is mate) and( if Rg8 by black then Rxc8+ )
Rxc8 is not possible
Therefore, Bxc8 Qc6+ by white Bb7 and Qxb7#.
What if after queen c6 black plays rook f7
After Rg7 then there is Rd8+Qc8 Rxc8#. Bishop can't take because it is pinned by the queen
I think Bxc8 not possible as bishop is allready pinned by queen. Forcefully Rxc8 and then Qxb7#
Magnus is king of the endgame 5:52 6:17
Glad to see you back sir after long time
Can you make video of Hexo gambit ?

Whichever move black plays, white can play Rd8. Would be a forced mate in one or two moves

Qc6,if bishop takes queen Rd8,
Qc6 threatening Qxb7# or Rd8#. Best reply Qc8. Then Rd8 Nice puzzle.

Qc6 with a theat, if bishop takes on it. Rd8+, Qc8, Rook takes Queen on c8 is a mate
Why white is in advantage even before starting
Knight to c6 if bishop captures then queen recaptures and check then king has to move to b8 then rook to d8 will be a check mate
