No questions, just a 1965 K code Mustang I once owned. I have a very similar Borgson power steering in my 1969 SBC Corvette, originally a non-power steering car. The Borgson is excellent.
As for the Mustang, I bought it new in 1965. I bent multiple Z-bars, when shifting at high rpm. I finally had enough backing welded to the upper and lower arms, the bending was eliminated. Also that crummy fulcrum bracket in the bell housing was strengthened with a gusset and welded beads on the edges. Of course Ford would not cover any of the repairs, power train warranty had expired.
    I enjoyed your video.

I recently purchased the Borgeson power steering kit for my 1970 Mach 1 equipped with a 351 (M code) Cleveland engine and four speed transmission. I purchased the pump/reservoir bracket and modified Z-bar
from other companies as the Cleveland engine requires different brackets then Windsor engines.. This kit appears fairly simple to install but it would be nice to see a video on the installation in a 1970 Mustang equipped like mine. There are always a few bits of information that can be learned from someone that has completed this conversion. Thanks....

Hi Christopher! it looks like the Boss 302, which we're working on now, also requires the same brackets. Where did you get them, if you don't mind!?

This kit does work with the 67 cougar, just have to make sure you order the right one as far as sector and steering shaft size. I used it on my 67 cougar with a 351 Cleveland. You can get your part number off the gearing box and use shop manual to get correct sector and shaft size

Hello! Thanks for sharing. I have a 351C in my 65 mustang, but now we're having issues with the pump as this kit was for a 289. What pump did you use for your 351C??

It sucks that all after market (Scott drake, borgeson) etc support for classic mustangs are so trash. The rag joint is suppose to have two different size pins. Sad Jdm cars have far better aftermarket support than domestic

there are two 2-groove pulley options. One with 3/8 and 1/2, the other with two 3/8 widths. Do you know which one for a 1964 1/2 with a 260?

If you need power steering in a Mustang/Cougar......you must have spaghetti arms. Seriously.
