RC is progressive just like any other hobby when I first started it was about getting RTR’s & adding a bunch of aftermarket upgrades but after buying nothing but RTR’s you start to want to build RC kits instead of RTR’s I think it’s just part of the progression of being a RC enthusiast. Thank you for always giving us more then just RTR reviews. Happy Holidays to you & your family & may the New Year bring nothing but good things.
@RCReviewChannel They make a kit that shortens the tranny up. You'll need to run something like a stubby Holmes Hobbies motor, and get the Vanquish behind the axle servo mount. Drops the CG lower and a bit farther back.
I’m torn between this kit and the Stance. Nice budget build sir. I realize this is the carbon kit but the RTR Stance is amazing on so many levels out the box completely stock. Huge thanks to vanquish for coming out with a RTR that actually can crawl without immediately dumping money 💰 into upgrades
I just bought a VRD Carbon kit today. What Servo and Motor/ esc would you recommended? Im leaning towards the Hobbywing Fusion Pro and a Reefs Triple 7... Thanks!
Axial vanquish redcat, I mean a lcg is what you make. It can’t r the best chasss it has nice componeants and great trans maybe etc etc, but can prob buy a cheap chassis pit 2low in t we Capra axles or element or what ever and keep up.
LCG is what you make of it.... Well, not really. These are not scratch built and we'll test them box-stock configuration with same tires. We'll discuss the tuning options too.
Late to the game? Uh.....yeah, lol! Careful though Francis, you're gushing like a Vanquish fan boy! Just kidding with you! I love my VS4-10 but plenty of companies out there producing great products. Even I think the Vanquish mystique is a bit over exaggerated. Dont get me wrong, the VRD is on my wish list (I've been a good boy, Santa - kind of 😉) and looking forward to building it up.
I think in the old days, the $1k VS410 was a bit hyped. But they've improved with every release and they are a whole more affordable now. First impression is 'legit'!!!!!! We'l put it through its paces.
Just got a RTR VRD Stance. Love how capable it is straight out of the box. Still love my Phoenix for its multiple servos and scale look. With the VRD, being so light its less likely to rollover. It’s not as top heavy like the Phoenix. The quality in the fit and finish is there, typical of Vanquish Products. May I ask you, what color did you use for your VRD Stance body?
Buy the Vanquish VRD Pro Carbon - alnk.to/4qKcwD5
Vanquish Stance Body - alnk.to/goZJe8C
Vanquish VXT2 tires - alnk.to/6IE3hft
Vanquish dual-stage foam - alnk.to/3ckTEWy
Tamiya Cobalt Green paint - alnk.to/74tzf4k

Eventually you will be buying one part at a time. Plastic won't do.
My second rc was a kit , in my opinion the rtr vehicles are catching up to the custom rigs we all want , or want to create.
You're going to love that VRD Carbon the more you drive it. Get the stubby conversion with the BTA (behind the axle) mount and it will be even better.
Really huh? What does that do? Stubby as in servos? I do have some of those.

@@RCReviewChannelyes, like a revolver motor or out runner style…
Got one on my Capra and it’s awesome ..
@@markcole6475 oh man, i have so many stubby Revolvers. Gotta try that!!!

It’s almost like you made a VRD stance before it was released😅
Every month there is a new king
I've wanted a Vanquish kit for the last 3 years . Same this year .
Covety thy Vanquish.
Che mezzo 😮😮…. Che motore hai montato per la prova? Grazie 🙏🏼 ottimi video 🔝🔝🔝
Hey Francis, fun fact for you, the vrd has a lower cg than the scx pro even while being on portals and "sitting too high"
Darn!!!!! Defies physics

Here in Washington the rocks are often wet
Do you know if a vfd twin could be dropped into this?
No, Josh (harley designs) on Vanquish live said it won't directly drop in since the mounting points are different
What motor, esc and servo do you have in there? Thx!
Just low-cost stuff we took out of a Vanquish Fordyce RTR. 35t brushed motor, Hobbywing 1050 esc and about 180 oz servo

You have some excessive clicking in that trans!!
I question your impartiality. This may indeed be good, but you say *everything* is.
Pot metal portal covers
Give me sir vanquish vrd😂
