@@luker1ng I know, the cold hit like a truck. Unfortunately I probably won’t have one for a while - not doing anything for work besides editing until Monday!
I can relate. There seems to often be just one thing you wished you would have packed or forgot to grab. Thankfully, I mostly film on SSD drives on my Atomos so usually have some sort of space available and SSD's can be bought at Walmart so that helps. Twice, I forgot my ND filter because I do not use ND's with my FS5MII cameras due to the internal variables. This is usually an issue because when I swap lenses and do some run and gun with my A7SIII, that is a real bummer and almost always need an ND with that camera.
Invest in an actual boom mic boom stand and recorder and your audio game will change so much, being able to just walk people into the shot and not have to do all the clipping on is 100X better, just did a shoot with a sound guy and omg it was game changing
@@Jeremiah_Aguirre I have all of this - with the run-and-gun style of the day, I wanted to stay as minimal as possible. I also think a boom mic would have been much worse with all of the ambient sound going on Absolutely sound is a big deal - I’ve got a friend who does sound and I’m just waiting for more opportunities to give him work and let him do his thing!
I talked in the video about StaffMeUp - its a website where clients can make posts about jobs that freelancers can apply for, or they can browse accounts and look for someone specific to hire - its been a great way for me to find work!

Yep haha I was worried I forgot my ND filter on the first day actually - luckily it was tucked away in its normal spot!
