What I love about your work is the sophisticated color palette. The colors are beautiful and the details are always amazing. Each piece always has this fine arts gallery quality and feel to it. You really demonstrate exceptional talent.
Thanks Michelle! I really appreciate your continued support.

I've seen this technique before but as I've said on another comment - Sara, you always give your beautiful and very personal touch in every piece. I almost can identify your paintings with a style of your own.
Outstanding sara your paintings are on a different level from other artists, these two paintings are stunning and on a larger canvas they will be breathtaking. I'm so looking forward to seeing your collaboration with the wonderful Gail whom I admire hugely as well it will be like having a birthday watch you two together. Take care stay safe 👏💜🌈
Have I mentioned today how...AMAZING YOUR PAINTING SKILLS ARE 😍 THESE 2 PCS ARE GORGEOUS AND BRILLIANT COLORS. I can't wait for my painting! So good girl. You given me the feels 😊❤
It is so relaxing watching you create, as well as trying to paint myself whilst I am learning from you. I only wish I could get the colours right, lots to learn! Two amazing pieces of Art!
@@paulettehigham4015 Yes, that’s been my biggest issue… So I’m continuing to play with consistency. The second painting it was thinner and I didn’t have any cracking. I didn’t call this integrity quite the same, but I actually liked the effects that I got, I got some really pretty sort of thin paint effect. ✨🙏👍
I saved this video to refer to as I practice. Both are very beautiful paintings. I seemed to catch onto this technique quicker than the blow out. Do you have a video explaining how you protect or clean up the bottom of the canvas? Also, do finish your paintings with resin?
Hi it's me again Sara...I haven't tried this type of art. I will be trying it later in the year as I'm busy making cards and jewelry! I need to do shopping for the products I will need. I love watching your work especially at this time when I'm not going out and watching you create is so relaxing and inspiring....you don't know what a calming effect it has on me. Thank you so very much. Big hugs from England.❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕🐶🐶
These are so lovely! When you said you wound up thinning that second base does it leave a slight trace or does paint totally sink when dripped off stick?txz sooo much jeanne
Hi Sara I like your style, mite give this method go over the weekend .The amsterdam mix you use is it ok to add water if a bit thick.Best wishes from Liverpool
Zigzag he usually means that there’s different consistency is it been happening, they’re moving at different speeds. That’s the most likely scenario.✨👍
Sara, your paintings are so well thought of and stunning. Please, I'd like to know, do you use the expert series for your Amsterdam paint, or is it the standard series?
Hi Sara. I love your paintings and style. You are a very gifted artist. I was wondering if, for these paintings, you mixed your colors with fluetrol or just pouring medium. I really love the end result on both paintings. Thank you.
Such beautiful work~Could you please do a video/voice over on composition? Such as what you are looking at when you tilt one way or another. You keep creating, I'll keep watching!
Thank you Trudy! That’s a good idea. There’s not a huge rhyme or reason, I just try to kind of go with the flow and let the paint take me where it wants to go.✨❤️
Simply stunning! From close look it appears that there’s really a “ one shot chance” of getting the cells to appear after the swipe! Going back over makes it disappear often...?!?
Hi Leonard, the first time across is definitely the best time across! On my second painting I did go over a section a second time and it actually turned out good. Thank you for all your support!
Sara, love your technique. It reminds me of a ballet. What are you using from the small plate with your palette knife? is it just your white with Floetrol?
Hi Sara I tried your technique that you did in this video and I wasn’t very successful. I found the paints mixed when I swiped them. Is there a trick? I mixed my paint ticker for this piece, but I found it not to flow well.
Hi Lisa, my pants are actually pretty thin for this technique, the big difference is that I put the polyurethane in the paint colors. If you’re not getting much movement, your pillow pain especially can go thinner.
It’s mostly llama house and Howard Burns. Sorry usually I get rid of my creations software video to save space in the device, so I can’t go back and gather all the information.✨🙏
Sara, I tried to email you about the palette knife you use but they said I emailed the wrong address. I copy and pasted so can you tell me if that is the correct email for you above? Also, I am in the market to buy a good palette knife instead of the cheap plastic ones I have and would like your recommendation on what brand to go with. There are too many to choose from and I am not familiar with any of them. I know you talk about having a nice flexible but well made palette knife in a previous video so I thought I would get your advice. Thanks Sara, love your art.
Have you seen Niki D youtube posts, she does this style of swipe over. Check her out some really nice work, I know you are not doing exactly the same as Niki but thought you might enjoy it.
I am in awe of this effect. Can you please let me know thee exact measurements of the mix for the Amsterdam pillow formula. You mentioned less water, but how much water is needed, how many ounces? I have been working with the cloud cell mix and have wasted a lot of paint trying to get the formula right. Any information would be appreciated. My Instagram is anns_art83. Thank you so much. have learned a great deal from you .
Hi Ann, this is very different than my cloud poor and Pearl effect… I honestly don’t measure it. The base coat is just a regular Satin latex house paint mixed with floetrol. The white paint that I bring over the top of the paint with a palette knife is Amsterdam titanium white Mixed with floetrol. One to three ratio paint to floetrol. I’ll have more information in a large pair that I am releasing on the RUclips soon.
Exceptional Sara.. Looking forward to experimenting with you.
Me too Gail, can’t wait!❤️✨
What I love about your work is the sophisticated color palette. The colors are beautiful and the details are always amazing. Each piece always has this fine arts gallery quality and feel to it. You really demonstrate exceptional talent.
Awesome Ron, thank you so much! It’s really wonderful compliment.🙏🙏🙏
Sara, you've shown and taught me that sometimes less is more! This is beautiful. Thank you!
So nice abstract painting as well as colors combination...👨🏻🎨🎨👍
Thank you so much!
Ooh! I'm looking forward to this collaboration! You and Gail! What a treat. Love your "study" pour!
Very beautiful painting!
Wow! So interesting & colorful. Could gaze at them for hours taking in all the beautiful little details. 👏💕
Thank you so much Julie!
Your talent continues to amaze me. It's like you have some special power over the process and I'm loving it.
Thank you so much Linda 🙏✨
Almost eerie isn't it? Otherworldly at times.
Ooooh. The gradience in the colors is so special!! The cells stretched out makes the perfect composition! Beautiful
Thanks Michelle! I really appreciate your continued support.
I've seen this technique before but as I've said on another comment - Sara, you always give your beautiful and very personal touch in every piece. I almost can identify your paintings with a style of your own.
Thank you so much, I really take that as a huge compliment, I love that you can tell it’s mine.❤️
Sara This is gorgeous. You have inspired me.
Amazing! I can't wait to try this! All of your work is soulful! I love this! Thank you for sharing your gift!
Your colors are stunning together. It's just mesmerizing to watch you create. Can't wait for the collaboration with Gail - love her.
Your thought process blows my mind and the results are incredible. Thank you for experimenting and pushing the bounds of fluid art.🥰💜
What a wonderful compliment, thank you so much! I will continue on.🙏✨
Both look fabulous.

This is a real pretty painting and I can’t wait to try this technique. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love these especially the second one. Thanks for sharing your talent..
Thank you for sharing God bless you and your family!
Beautiful your pieces are so inspirational
Lovely piece! I enjoy your process and appreciate your narrative. Thank you.
Brilliant as always.
It is so relaxing watching you create, as well as trying to paint myself whilst I am learning from you. I only wish I could get the colours right, lots to learn!
Two amazing pieces of Art!
We have no power, but I can still watch your videos on my tablet. Thanks for entertaining me through the ice storm in Kentucky. 🥶
Yay, and Burr! My goodness, stay warm. I saw somebody putting a tent on top of the bed to keep body heat in.✨🙏
Love the second one!
Unique and beautiful!
Wonderful painting....good job!!! 💕 Love it
I realize that about the pillow paint yet I get afraid it will be too thick and not dry/ or will crack..???
@@paulettehigham4015 Yes, that’s been my biggest issue… So I’m continuing to play with consistency. The second painting it was thinner and I didn’t have any cracking. both are beautiful but the 2nd one... my goodness. i love this technique..
Thank you Laurie 🙏✨
They both turned out beautiful Sara! I love the second painting.

Oh I need to find the last Colab. you did with Gail. You two are some of favorite inspirations. I can’t wait to see what you two do next!
Both are positively gorgeous! Just came across your channel. Can't wait to see more!
This is amazing!!! 😍And you are so delicate!!! Your videos are soooo relaxing!!.thank you!!

Holy cow!!! Incredible!
Gorgeous! So beautiful. ❤️😊❤️😊❤️😊
Stunning love it🥰
Yaay! I just purchased ACROBAT, the first painting in this video! Can't wait...
I’m hoping your name is different than your handle… LOL because I don’t think I sold it to an Emily.🤞😬
Yes it is, will explain later! Thought I mentioned that in my email to purchase, lol...you're good!
Wonderful!!
Stunning
Wow!🤩🤩
Beautiful.
Your eye for color pallet and movement are stunning. I know I have told you this before...but I just have the same reaction to so many of your pieces.
Thank you Michelle, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your ongoing support and comments, it really means a lot.✨🙏
Wow 👏👏👏
I love both paintings I love the colors as well did you add the pour medium to the colors or your background paint
Love it
These are so lovely! When you said you wound up thinning that second base does it leave a slight trace or does paint totally sink when dripped off stick?txz sooo much jeanne
Belíssimas telas!!!😍
Hi Sara I like your style, mite give this method go over the weekend .The amsterdam mix you use is it ok to add water if a bit thick.Best wishes from Liverpool
Omg.....love this this
Hi Sara love your works. Can you please tell me what amounts of floetrol water and GAC 800 you put in with house paint.
It’s about two parts house paint, one part floetrol, about a quarter part gac800.
very pretty. Im attempting this technique, my colours go thin and zig zaggy, does that mean not enough paint?
Zigzag he usually means that there’s different consistency is it been happening, they’re moving at different speeds. That’s the most likely scenario.✨👍
Sara, your paintings are so well thought of and stunning. Please, I'd like to know, do you use the expert series for your Amsterdam paint, or is it the standard series?
Thank you so much, I actually use both. I do prefer the expert… It has higher pigment. For the Amsterdam formula I use standard series.✨🙏
@@SaraTaylor Thank-you, good to know. I can only get the expert series at a reasonable price when I visit my friend in the Netherlands.
Hi Sara. I love your paintings and style. You are a very gifted artist. I was wondering if, for these paintings, you mixed your colors with fluetrol or just pouring medium. I really love the end result on both paintings. Thank you.
Hi Sandra, I did do some flow chart but not a lot. I think I put my ratios in the description.
Every day is a surprise with your art. It’s just incredible. Do you have a source for floating frames?
Hi Lynda, I get my floating frames from Jerry’s Artarama, the illusion serious. Sometimes I paint them.👍✨
Fantastic, are you wiping the spatula off after each swipe?
I do wipe it off between each swipe :-)
Love it!!!
J'aimerais savoir quel est ton mélange de blanc que tu étend sur les couleurs avec ton couteau svp. 🙏 J'adore ton projet !!!😍
Very beautiful, Do you have any videos that how you mix your paints ,thank you
Not for this technique, I do have a paint mixing video that is more pertaining to straight pour
Such beautiful work~Could you please do a video/voice over on composition? Such as what you are looking at when you tilt one way or another. You keep creating, I'll keep watching!
Thank you Trudy! That’s a good idea. There’s not a huge rhyme or reason, I just try to kind of go with the flow and let the paint take me where it wants to go.✨❤️
Hello Sara, do you have a recommendation for where to get the floater frames? Love the work👍🤣
I get these at Jerry’s Artarama, the illusion series.
@@SaraTaylor thank you for sharing

Thank you 🙏 😌
Really love these! : )
Sara, love your technique. It reminds me of a ballet. What are you using from the small plate with your palette knife? is it just your white with Floetrol?
Hi Regina, that’s the Amsterdam formula, it’s one part Amsterdam oxide white and three parts American floetrol
Hi Sara I tried your technique that you did in this video and I wasn’t very successful. I found the paints mixed when I swiped them. Is there a trick? I mixed my paint ticker for this piece, but I found it not to flow well.

Beautiful 😍😍😍😍
Wath is Floetrol?
To make your cells is your floetrol American or Australian? Thank you for your help.
Do you have a video on how you mix your paints?
Hi Donna, I have an older video on mixing paint, but not one pertaining to this exact technique. I will do one hopefully soon.✨🙏
If the bottle does not say whether the paint is opaque or transparent how do you know? Is there any way you can test it to find out?
So pretty ❤️🇩🇰 - Love the tecnik. Do you put resin on the top?
I do sometimes, the close-ups on these is when they’re still wet. I usually just use varnish.
Did you say what you mixed the paint colors with?
OMG!!!This is so beautiful Sara you are so talented and inspiring. I have a stupid question?...what is GAC??👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️😍😍😍💕💕💕🐶🐶🐶🐶🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hi Maureen, sorry it’s a gac800 by golden. I’m glad you like this one!
Love your art! Do you use American or Australian floetrol?
Thank you so much, I use American floetrol.
Every one is my favorite!! What is the music, please?
It’s mostly llama house and Howard Burns. Sorry usually I get rid of my creations software video to save space in the device, so I can’t go back and gather all the information.✨🙏
Love all these paintings. It is really difficult to get the american colors, especially decoart
