Sunflowers have always been special to me. During my late 20s, I had my darkest years, totally lost, lonely and unhappy. It's when I stumbled upon a field of sunflowers that stretched endlessly toward the horizon, I saw how they stood tall and proud, their faces following the sun's path across the sky. It made me so peaceful and happy within. I'll never forget that feeling of having a weight lift off my shoulders and I felt light n free. Sunflowers to me became hope, reminding me that even on my darkest days to stand tall and shine, nothings more important than that.
