I'm Thai. Yep, we are a developing country. However, the problem is how long we gonna take to become a developed country. I heard my country is a developing country since I was a child. Now I'm 4x 😐such a long time. Today, as everyone continues to age, I sometimes worry that we might not achieve the status of a developed country. When I compare Thailand to South Korea, Although we started our development journeys at the same time, South Korea seems to have progressed better and faster than us.

Thank you for your video and taking the time to make it. As someone from the United States, and having traveled all over the world, I find the term "third world" offensive as well. Maybe look up the history of the term and understand how it never should have been used in the first place when it was first coined and at best, how it is extremely outdated. Per usual, the larger countries have to try to "rank" everything else against their so called "greatness". I feel safer outside of my so called "first world" country and I have a much better quality of life across the board.

The third world comment was horrendous. I lived in the US for about five years as well as a number of other countries. I’ve now been living in Thailand for almost ten years and won’t move again. The choice of living in Thailand or the US isn’t even close. Thailand is no. 1 and the US isn’t even close to the top ten. Sorry to disappoint anyone.

The best mall in Thailand 🇹🇭, agreed with you totally....the mall is huge by any standards...the food section on the ground floor is the best...with 7-8 floors high, more restaurants are found on 7th floor, if you need to buy some high end automobiles, go to level 1 to see Maserati or Porsche...excellence is the words....done just right..their own harbour too!!...thanks for sharing this vblog with us 🎉😂

Mall in Bangkok are insane..I live in London and I can definitely say the mall in London is nowhere as good as thailand.and lastly in Thailand we have teacher day kids mother day and father day ..but I have to admit I didn't know Thailand also celebrate women's day..but other I mentions i knew about ..kids, mother father,and teacher days

Well Bangkok doesn't mean "City of Angels", There's some debate as to what Bangkok actually means. "Bang" denotes a community/village that was build along a stream. "Kok" people believe derives from "Ko" meaning island. Bangkok is only part of the city.
The actual city name is "Krung Thep" meaning "City of Angels" or it can also be translated as "City of Gods".
City of Angels is Los Angeles in the U.S. That mall is far superior to anything you can find in Los Angeles these days! I am embarrassed for my country that we have fallen to such a state as we are in.

Go down to the underground parking if you want to see some serious cars. They have dedicated super car parking spaces/areas in many Bangkok malls. I’d say most flashy cars only driven on weekends or after dark. Driving during the day is too stressful so we scoot around with a van and driver 😅

For Thai people who are considered poor in Thailand. They mostly have house, have car, and go to school and university ( that may be not prestigious. They can afford to buy foods, 30 baht access to public hospital. Which may be slow but doctor are greats. They just don’t have luxury to spend on expensive things. For me I don’t think this is a poor country at all.

If Thailand is a third-world country, what about the USA which has trillion in debt.
Only in Bangkok that is fully developed. The rest of the county is not. I have been to Phuket, Chiangmai, Krabi, Pattaya and Hua Hin all of them are wonderful. However, when you go somewhere not touristic, it is like a complete different world compared to Bangkok.

No, Thailand, it's not considered a Third World country. Today, Thailand is known as an upper-middle income country. As you may see the example of shopping malls or construction and development. The amount of new buildings, projects, hotels is through the roof. Bangkok as a city is a many years ahead of many European cities.

I do agree, Thailand malls, supersede any American malls, even our Mall of America in Minnesota. Going to back home (Thailand) in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to go to the malls, enjoy some street food, and the islands my beautiful birth country offers.

You guys should have checked the parking spot in this mall out, there is a super car parking area for fancy cars. The reason why not many fancy cars on the street because of 300% import tax, correct me if I'm wrong.

The reason you rarely see Super Cars on the road is because of traffic congestion.But if you're wondering how many Super cars there are in Thailand.I can only say There are more than you think, and many of them are Super Cars that are very rare in the world.
What cars cost in the USA $30K in Thailand will cost at least $100k to $150k. So Toyota Camry in Thailand is quite a upper middle class family already.

There should be a hotel in the mall - or did I miss it? I could spend a week there in the mall! I know that is not representative of Thailand as a whole. It would be like going to Disneyland and thinking you have seen the U.S. But, I am convinced - Bangkok is on my bucket list.

Having several modern shopping malls doesn't necessarily indicate that Thailand is developed. Despite the presence of these malls, all staff working within them still earn minimum wage, while only investors continue to amass wealth.
