I would call the Winter Impressions LP the ' Junky Nail Polish ' finish , I loved the Night Luminaries finish but wish it was on an ES-335 instead ,the Midnight Metallic LP twas cool , the gold hardware on the Metallic Static LP looks like its actually floating off the guitar due to the extreme contrast , also I love the Brunswick Blue ES-335 , very able of desire...Thanks Trogly !
FYI: The new Custom Shop Exclusives, the '64 Bigsby 335, Black Korina V & Explorer, Ebony Block SGs and Juniors are a run that Agnesi designed (he said it in an interview). The black Korina V & Explorers are also the first Korina guitars Murphy Lab has done since the limited run with the Brazilian boards.
Black korina as in black finished or actual Black Limba wood (Korina is also called White Limba, it’s all from the same trees, just one is heartwood.) It’s race, but Black Limba can be really nicely figured if you’re lucky to find it.
I had to hold myself back on the swirly custom. "you don't need another custom. You don't need another custom." keep repeating 😂 Thankfully someone bought it before i could cave. I thought it might have been you but you resisted as well lol
I get Paul Stanley votes from the pixie static. That fire busted LP looks awesome I'm sold on that one. I kind of like the 335 with that gold hardware. Makes me want to rewired and change all my hardware on my 335 red dot pro. Although I think the burst buckers I bought for another guitar might give issues of feed back.
My fave was..... my Modern Lite. Figures they offer Pelham after I paid a ransom for re-fin. haha The Gray V was cool too. I want an LP in that color, with matching appointments - like it fell in a vat of paint. haha Ü ♫
I kept going back and forth on the Winter Impressions II. Wish it had different pickups but the super 400 inlays are what pushed me to buy it. It has slight sparkle over the entire thing which was hard to see in the photos.
@@Trogfor sure. It’s fun to play. I still like the red swirl LP Custom a little more because it has the 68 custom HBs. They have a little more bite than the 490/498. Very subtle
Winter Impressions II Custom is very unique and pretty but be hard to sell on I think. Evening Fireburst Standard 60s is my favourite , very pretty example with the right specs.
That first Les Paul was a knockout and European pixie static with the Floyd was sweet also.. I've got to rethink my opinion on the "TV" yellow thing I went with the old theory the yellow color looked better on the black and white TVs.. but if Gibson is calling their finish TV Pelham Blue I'm just reading too much into the history of the TV finish cuz now satin slightly dog hair version which looks cool though lol I get firebrand vibes... If it sells it works I thought the price was reasonable if I remember right.
Hey trogly. I have a question. Do you think it would be possible to put a Floyd Rose in a Les Paul Supreme? I’m considering getting one of the new ones and putting a Floyd in it but if I can’t then I’ll probably go for a different model
The overall market has been slow for the past 6 or 7 months. Prices are down on a lot of things, but some sellers still think it's February of 2023. It isn't.
I think you’re seeing the bad economy with the new Epiphone releases more than the Gibson since rich people are mostly not affected by the economy. Most Epiphones are not an asset whereas most Gibsons are.
It's so strange to me how awful their photography still is for these. Is it really that hard to take some pictures where you can actually tell what color the guitars are?
Winter Impressions II reminds me of ‘The Sea at Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer’ by Vincent Van Gogh.

4:42 is it common for sparkle gibsons to have sparkles in the binding?
That crazy sparkle access was really cool looked like a deep space shot from the James Web 👏👍🤘
I will buy a Gibson again someday.

That night luminaries is GORGEOUS
Looooooove that deep blue 339 with the wood grain. Hope the buyer enjoys it
That blue 339 is gorgeous!!😍😍
My favourite was the double-cut junior in tv yellow near the end.🎸👍
That purple 335! Good lord that’s gorgeous.

I like the quilt Les Paul. Dam that looks good.
I always wonder if any of these wind up on stage. Especially the sparkle finish ones.
Too bad most of the places to play in my area closed down due to Covid so you’ll never see them played out here. Thanks China!!!!
Yup. I took Winter Impressions II out on stage last night
That Pixie Sparkle is going to be a pile of finish checking in a few years!
I think it's hideous!
Those newer Gibson mandolins are getting a reputation for having a distinct lack of both sound and craftsmanship quality...
I think the uk and European demo shops are not adding anything because it's not selling, even with the occasional 15% discount.
Looks like they raised the price on that Deep Purple 335 by $200 thanks to your popularity Trogly, haha
The Winter Impressions is a truly beautiful guitar. Nice and unusual as well.
Omg that winter lp is amazing
My fave was..... my Modern Lite. Figures they offer Pelham after I paid a ransom for re-fin. haha
The Gray V was cool too. I want an LP in that color, with matching appointments - like it fell in a vat of paint. haha Ü ♫
That first guitar is gorgeous
For the EU ES 335 mod, there are 2 guitars on the photos ! An SG.. could be an error or something new for the week.
kinda liked that spearmint explorer.
Metalic midnight Les Paul looked great

enjoy it!

The Tangerine Explorer is the best one !!!!!
I always prefer Flame top to Quilt top LP, but that Evening Fireburst got my interest.
Btw, the first one just reminds me of Steve Vai's JEM
you are a funny little guitar geek,,,,,thank you for showing everyone some cool stuff,,,,,,,,,,,your show is awesome!
when will theses be on the gibson site? i don't see them yet. Thanks
The first one reminds me of Blue Water Lilies by Monet.
You need to review a Les Paul with a Floyd Rose Tremolo on it.
Trog, have you ever seen any of the Navelina Gold Sparkle ‘59 335’s? Gnarly color.
the beautiful quilted honeyburst in the demo shop is the high light of this show. al the repaints are priced too high per being redone.
Hey Troglydude. I was wondering if You would please , tell us the type of Pick Ups these guitars have. Please 🙏 . Thanks A lot man.....
Give me a canary yellow, 335, heavy sparkle ✨️
Should have got that custom. You're slippin

Translucent varnish is what I've heard the TV stands for
@@atltom331 thanks for that info

How did you come up with your name?
Wheres the unique eds-1275 trogly?
Yep, the 5k guitars still have these fucked up tuners
❤❤
Hey there
My goodness that gold thing looks like some super ugly gold shoes I saw for sale earlier today. 🤮
✌️
If the painted changed the sound of the guitars……😂
I figured you would say something about the new studio moderns on this one.
nah, we've "talked" about them enough until the review! Hopefully on Tuesday
This poor economy can't be good for Gibson trying to sell these high priced Guitars.
sadly it doesn't matter about us regular people, many still have much cash
But yet they'll all sell.
Rich people are richer than ever. They're the ones buying this silly shit

Dude, I've complained about it from the get go, and even emailed Gibson about how crappy they are, but they obviously don't care
I expect better from Gibson.
Yahoo
The "Spring Green" Explorer was the winner for me.
Hey Trog what happened to the fesley video you posted yesterday for a brief moment? Coulda sworn I saw a fesley video from you yesterday.
For the algo
Yo
