What a fun video! One of my early instructors always said 'when you can get your pots in three pulls you'll know you're a potter'. I'm still just a mudpuppy it seems 🤣
Regardless, one of my favorite things is to cut a pot vertically in front of people in the studio for the first time so they can see the walls. I love the collective gasp and the fact that I still gasp when potters I admire cut their pots. Three gasps to you, Joe!

Three pulls is definitely the sensible goal! And yeah, I love the reaction when sacrificing pots, especially from non-potters
