My first motorcycle was a Ducati 350 Scrambler! I was enjoying the video show and that popped up and I went, "Whoah!" :D Awesome Doc! Nice music as well...
Ah Cheers thanks very much, yeah the Duke caught my eye when I was deciding what photos to use, unsplash.com is where I got them, glad you liked the music brother man✌💚☘
@@DocRockBaby i picked up a dirt cheap new guitar after reading some reviews and lucked out. Only needed to have the fret ends dressed (slashers they were!) and with a bit of 800 grit black oxide sandpaper and about 5 swipes, they were perfect! I'd ordered a fret dressing file, expected to have to do intonation work, etc., and it's fine! Looks like a telecaster but is hollow body, very light, maple neck, good range of sounds from twin pickups. Now I am ready for your beginning video you mentioned! I looked for it but didn't find it. So if you did it, could you give me the link please? If not, if you could move it up on your "Things To Do" list? :D No pressure! Now that I'm 65 I'm changing my life around, more exercise, more play, more learning, more reading, more writing and drawing... Maybe... Maybe... a tiny bit less eating... Sigh... :D You take good care brother! I'll check out that site too. Love the female images and some of the others as well. Enjoy life! It's the only one we've got at the moment! :)
@@RandyXB9R Well now Mr.9R, that has got to be one of the coolest comments I`ve ever received and one of the few that made me literally lol. This is just a quick reply for the moment, I `m in the middle of something but I will get back to you in about an hour or so, I didn`t want you to think I was ignoring you 🎸 so if you can bare with me I`ll chat with shortly, cheers brother👍😎
@@RandyXB9R Right that`s me done for a while, now where were we? Oh yeah, you got yourself a Tele 👍🎸😎 cool, well you sound as if you know your biscuits regarding dressing frets and doing your intonation 👍 OK the tutorial videos, you must have watched one of the channel promos 😂 good on ya, yeah I was toying with the idea of doing a couple on DADGAD tuning for beginners, because I`ve watched one or two and just found myself screaming at the screen because the "teachers" although good players were making it way harder then it could be, I`m a self-taught player and know nothing about theory I don`t even know the names of some of the scales I use, I have my own way of knowing them and my ear tells me the rest, now my good friend Baz the lead player he`s the total opposite he knows all the ins/outs/minor 7ths tormented 9ths/etc 😂🎸 stay tuned there`s more coming in about 10 minutes 👍😎😂
@@RandyXB9R If you`re serious about learning on you tube I could recommend a couple of channels that I know will have you on the right path no problem whatsoever, now speaking of age as far as I know that`s only a number, I turned 54 last Monday but as George Bernard Shaw once said....We don`t stop playing because we grow old....We grow old because we stop playing...makes sense to me..😎 Good for you changing your life around, a new chapter and a new adventure soak it all in and most important of all...have fun doing it www.unsplash.com sign up with them all you need is an email address its all free and top quality plus you can use the images for your own commercial projects and not have to worry about copyright its why myself and countless others use them 👍😉 Mr.9R, it was an absolute pleasure chatting with you, you know where I am 👍 plus in the "about" section my channel you can find my email please feel free to contact me anytime, Look after yourself brother man and the ones you love, 😎👍, peace and love to you from Ireland ✌💚☘
Well good on ya 😎thanks for giving it a listen that`s just a Demo (Daren, bass player) he`s not on there yet its just myself and Baz 😎😎 I appreciate you taking the time 😉✌💚☘
@@DocRockBaby It doesn't sound as raw as other demos that I've heard. This sounds good to go. It would be a good song to toke to or just listen to whenever.
@@BetterEveryDayRUclips Wow, I wasn`t expecting that thank you so much, When the circus comes to Town is much better Daren uses his fretless Bass on that one, still can`t get over that, thank you 😎😉💚
