@@maxpopkov1432 ok but it doesnt belong at 7.0 lmfao. It should be the same BR as the P-51H, which is objectively just a better plane in most metrics.
So either raise the BR of the P-51H to 7.0 which would be stupid, or lower the Mk 22 and Mk 24 to 6.3.
Mk 22 at 6.3 and P-51H and 24 at 6.7 could work too but no prop, no matter how good, should ever be seeing 7.7's.

Superprops actually got more playable after gaijin actually did something about botting in planes, sure there are still 288s but you don't get 6v6 4 288s and 2 fighters anymore

This game truly is 100% too compressed now, wherever they put a plane itll be a problem, decompression is the ONLY this this game needs now and it needs it quickly, even a small amount of decompression would be greatly beneficial.

As a J29F enjoyer this makes me quite pissed. Sure, it's a good plane, it holds it's own vs MiG 15's, 17's and Sabres in dogfights, but it has no business staying at 9.0 when all the comparable planes are gonna be at a lower BR.
Not allthey forgot about saberdogs and the sadness mobiles of the f84 attackers
Mig-15s and sabres are going to see Mk24 in those br changes, that means they will be even lower br in the future considering the average player base will probably end up turn fighting said mk24s.

They already did when they allowed the Soviets to have Yak 23 and yanks their F-89s at that tier for years already. Russian players so Down syndrome that even in the most over powered vehicles imaginable they still do awful so the stats based balance system turns a blind eye.

same for some of the brits, i play britain to suffer though so we keep balling
so easy to fix compression, literally just have a max up tier of the decimal battle rating above, so 9.3s can max face 9.7 at a max up tier and a 9.0 full down tier. Obviously some aircraft will need moving around with this system but its such an easy change, but gaijin being gaijin, they are just unfamiliar with good changes.
Even a 0.7 max uptier would be very good

They would definitely never do 0.3 if they refuse to even raise the maximum BR by more than 0.3 with the introduction of next gen fighters lmfao.
I'd worry also with only +- .3 if the variety of vehicles in matches might be too little.
@@wolfgangkolber381 That's true. Some BR brackets would really suffer from 0.3 Best solution is to raise the maximum BR by at 1.0 to give room for gaijin to actually adjust things without making shitty compromises that don't actually fix anything.
Changing disparity to 0.7 would be an easier solution since Gaijin wouldn't have to do blanket BR adjustments. Pretty much everything (that isn't severely undertiered/overtiered to begin with) can stay where its at.

Reminder that a me262 is at the same br of 8.0 with the mig-15 and the f86sabre
I think on a plus side the Scimitar will be in a bit more reasonable of a spot. Its ability to see supersonics and 30G missiles hasn't changed, but it's a bit less of a speed demon for older 8.7 subsonics, especially with how the fuel slider benefitted it.
im just happy to see cl,13 mk6 going down a br, that thing was my go to for grinding back in the day when it was 9.7, it was very good due to its roll rate,accelaration and turn rate especially against a-7D spam back then. With the fuel slider changes, i think i can finally bring it out again.
I wish J29F would be going to 8.7 too.

I just hope that i face less supersonics in my mig 15 and lim5p after these changes, but i think ill just quit playing the me 262 entirely, its already an extremely sad plane at 7.0

F9f-8 cougar needs either 8.0 or for supersonics to move up .3. it is way too slow and losses way too much energy to have a hope against them if they have half a brain
Also the FJ-4B and A-4B are 8.7. They literally just don't move unpopular planes.
A-4H is 8.3 even though it is better than the A-4B. BRs just don't make any sense in the game.

How about they make a more specific decimal breakdown in BR etc.
as opposed to just having just having .0, .3, and .7
change it to a .0, .2, .4, .6, and .8 format and this would completely fix the compression of nearly everything if implemented correctly

The CL-13B mk.6 has been my favorite jet for quite some time now. The best 9.3 subsonic plane imo
as a cl 13 main who fought against a 10 wit no flares i see this as an absolut win

As I'm currently resuming my Italy/Hungary grind, these changes are insane.
I spaded the MiG-15bis, and it's now my favorite jet in that BR range. It does not need to be 8.3, getting 7.7 down-tiers was sad enough. The MiG-17PF will now replace it as 8.7, so now 7.7 will get stomped by the same thing but better.
The AMX going to 10.7, right as I'm finally researching it. What a surprise. Italy gets a good subsonic attacker, and it's pretty quickly moved up into 11.7 up-tiers and out of the 10.3 ground lineup that it greatly supported. Guess KF41 fans will be happy to have it available.

Mig-17 is litterally a fatter mig-15 bis its perfectly fine at 8.7. It was almost unusable at 9.0.

Warthunder would greatly benefit from paying DEFYN to be an "independent" consultant for the game. Maybe not for realism (we all know they threw that out the window years ago), but for balance/ player interaction. The only thing that seems to get anywhere currently is organized mass review bombing... that could be changed for a relatively modest cost

Defyn, would you say that limiting the matchmaker to a 0.7 uptier instead of the current 1.0 would fix things?
It is being debated on reddit and I generally am in agreement with that, because things like the F-3H should absolutely NOT face the Su-25, but it does.
Only in jets, 1.0+- works fine for props. What they really need to do is raise top tier to 14.7 and decompress everything
F-104C can carry 4 AIM-9Bs, it should be fine at 9.7. I really want it to get it's CCRP back.
The F-104A is gonna need *something* to compete with 10.7, or it'll just be a MiG-21 with worse missiles and no turn rate.
Overall, everything needs to be decompressed of course, we say this every BR change, Gaijin won't listen.
From what I've read abit about the the USAF F-104A it tested the AIM-9D (the china lake skin in its historical picture shows the D model missile iirc).
The ROCAF F-104A could receive AIM-9J missiles which would give it a boost for 9.7.
So both jets could easily go up with those changes.
At least with the Sabre going down I won't have to fight F104 anymore... at least until I unlock the next plane lol

This is disgusting...I’m starting to see the BR system as a whole as completely overburdened, outdated, and deranged. All these bandaids are ripping off so quickly it’s like they were never even there. Something needs to change...in an ideal world maybe changing the max absolute BR uptier/downtier to 0.5 instead of 1.0 would do something but at this point I doubt it.
F-86F-30 never became unviable, it still kicks hard i love it so much aahhhhhh 💦
I mean, these changes did make it accurate to legacy top tier as 262s did fight f-86s and MiG-15 in the early days of the game. In fact I even think they were the same BR back then.
I just got done playing the F-86s to prepare a top tier grind... And they were fine... The F-35 and the F-2 were absolutely competitive... This is going to destroy ealier BRs
Gaijin already compressed tf out of early cold war tanks, so now they need to ruin planes too instead of just raising the maximum br by 2 or 3 brs.

I hit that range of top tier right before they released the F-100 and Mig-19.

I hope the j32b goes to 9.0 prob the worst 9.3 jet anyone plays also constant uptiers at 9.3 but after playing the a32a which is 9.0 i have determined that for some reason gets less uptiers altough 10.0 premiums

I play the MiG-15 often, and uptiers are sometimes easier than downtiers. People complain about its br when starting, and so did i. Skill issue.
the problem with gaiji nis that not only they absolutelyy never to open widely the BR (idk, maybe about 14.0 RN) they just also don't want to reduce the -1/+1 BR MM which is an absolute BS from them.... with both said mechanics, it is a real pain whatever you do...
2 solutions:
-Open BR up to 14.0, rebalance all planes BR adequately
-Remove the -1/+1 BR matchmaker
