Hola saludos tengo un Mercedes modelo e320 año 2002 tengo una pregunta ❓ la batería debe recibir suministro de carga del alternador la batería auxiliar? Es decir con el vehículo encendido la batería debe recibí 14.20 v ?
Thanks alot for this great informations. Just want to ask you before changing it did you notice that SBC system not starting with door open as usual but starting with engine start ?
When you tested the original Mercedes battery it was rated at 170 A(EN), you should have scrolled down at the Battery Standard screen and selected EN, not selected CCA.There are vast differences in these readings especially with smaller batteries like these. Again the 200 A rating for the Super Start Platinum is an EN rating, so the correct setting on the tester should be first selected. My calculation from your CCA to the correct EN value would put your new battery around 221, closer to the specified 200, but no-way would it be 375.
I don't think the aux battery has any CCA (cold crank amps) to be able to start the engine, further, I'm sure it will be on a different circuit to the main starter battery. My keys have a master that is removeable from the key fob by a slide. This skeleton key will fit the boot for access to the main battery. You will find the keyhole centrally upside down, so that it is not visible. Very good video re aux batt relay. Thank you.

Yes... With engine running, battery should be receiving between 13.7 to 14.7 volts.
One of the best videos on this topic. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Very helpful video. It benefits me for my 2008 E320 Mercedes Benz wagon that is giving me starting problem. Thanks a lot
Great to hear!
Thanks. This helped me solve some strange issues I was having similar to your car alarm siren.
Nice! Glad the video helped.
Great video. Thanks. Can you perform the test from the battery studs in the engine bay, as the battery is under the passenger seat? Thanks
Probably... I just don't know what else might be between the studs and the battery terminals.. it might cause the test to not be accurate

Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to that. Don't know

Thanks for pointing this out!
Do you have to disconnect the large battery prior to remove the auxiliary battery?
Yup, you should
my e500 2003, both batteries are dead, i cannot open trunk with key or button, if i replace my aux battery then would my car be able to start?
