I really can't figure out why you don't have like a million subs dude, your content is just amazing. Super helpful, super entertaining, just keep doing what you're doing 'cause it's amazing.
I think alot of people would appreciate these videos because not alot of players have time to figure this stuff out because of the stuff going on in their life like work other stuff. Most players like picking up the game and want to just vs, well thats probably just me.
Xaio’s combo video shows a combo that pushes the opponent into the corner with 5h but keeps you close enough to the corner after the wall bounce to follow up a rejump
Thank you so much. I have these exact question. Especially the one about high blockstun. I found that most of his mix takes less than 50 frames, and assists longer than 30 frames of stun tend to mess with your command grab. So funny enough, he goes well with lower block stun assists
Ik it’s been awhile but can u post a vid on vegito.I’d like to know everything I can about him(maybe trunks to since people think he’s super high teir)
SpawnAmvs Yea, GT goku was immediately thought of as strong. People had to learn how to combo into spirit bomb first and figure out his neutral. His assist was always considered strong though.
I remember you talked briefly about it in the Zamasu video (pick a character you like), but with UI Goku it would be great to do a 2-5mins dedicated video about the characters with a grab as 3rd hit of auto-combo, and how it works with the frame data. I heard "use a fast assist". But what I do not understand is "What changes in the blockstun between using doing the normal auto-combo that will make the grab whiff if all blocked, and using a fast assist that will make the 3rd hit of mashing LLL grab this time"? (And can it work with a an longer assist like SSJ Vegeta or even Yamcha (fast startup but longer blockstun)?) Thank you! I am not well versed with the stream so I ask here ^^
This is a simple situation of block stun. You see, whenever a character hits another and they block it, the one who blocked is placed into block stun. This means they can't do another move until the block stun runs out. Lets say that your character has a grab as the third hit of the auto-combo. If your opponent blocks the first two hits, the grab will automatically miss. Why? Because the character who is blocking is still in the block stun of the second hit. It's the same thing that happens if you call your assist and while your assist is hitting them, you can't Dragon Rush them. The reason you want a fast assist is because you want them to hit between the grab and the second hit of your auto-combo. This way your opponent will block the first two hits of your auto-combo, you call your assist and that will remove the block stun from the second hit and change the block stun to that of the assists move, if you timed it right, the grab will work. The trick is to pick an assist that comes out fast and has low block-stun and to not mash the auto-combo. You want to slow down and give yourself enough time the assist hits and leaves, but you don't want to be too slow that the combo resets. Hope this helped! Good luck Dunking fools!
Basically you need an assist with a low blockstun. You can't grab someone when he is in blockstun, which is why you can't command grab people when they're blocking beams etc... If you do full auto combo, your LL has a blockstun that makes the LLL whiff. However, if you make them block an assist with low blockstun after your LL, they won't be in blockstun for the LLL grab, and the grab can then connect.
man , im new to dragonball fighterZ , and i hear people using terminologies like block string safe, jump, frame trap etc..... I would love to see a video of you explaining those , you have a good way of explaining things
Yup, really helpfull video concept, but to make it worth i think you can try to make a google doc where anybody can leave his question, since not everyone can check live and participate in the chat
He’s good and has some really good stuff but the main thing that broke pre nerf bardock and GTku was the stupid good level 3 Oki which bardocks was normalized and GT goku had his removed for spirir bomb. UI goku just doesn’t have very good oki and his jab is slow. For example, his jab into DR drops and leaves you open for a 2m punish on jab hit
I don't think it's something you want to use. Using meter to be in a worst situation that if you did a regular string then assist + IAD or low. I think using 2H can lead to better result.
@@kevinmaury581 Actually it doesnt. The 2nd hit whiffs on crouched opponents so best case scenario, you have them locked down with your assist and you manage to get pressure. Worst case scenario, you maybe get punished cuz your assist didn't lock them down enough. I have labbed UI enough to know how to punish everything yet
Can you make a video or dedicate a tiny part of your stream to answer my question, which is *what can you do about your opponent if all they do is make the whole match a scramble and superdash like crazy and mash in random positions and catch you doing a mixup
It’s really hard for me to follow stream schedules, what if you put a twitter poll before going live or something like that so maybe I can see my answer when the video comes up on RUclips?
I need to spend more time on Twitch. Your content is seriously some of my favourite to watch. Still curious about UI's beam though. He does that little somersault before firing the beam, and I'm curious if it'll act like a counter similar to how it does in his cinematic against Kefla, lol. Doubt it, but that would be amazing.
Actually it is a counter! His flips are fully invincible to any type of ki blast including supers. If you press A during the flips, you'll get his Kamehameha. It keeps the same invincibility as the flips!
@@sir.dreamer378 I'm actually talking about the beam as shown at 8:21 in this video ruclips.net/video/N1ZCSx6dyJA/видео.html I've seen his flips go through since they're invincible, but I was curious if it still had that invincibility if you're just doing the beam as the first action. No flips prior.
A "true blockstring" mean there is no "gap". Basically, your opponent can not do anything except blocking ( he can not refelect, he can not do a level 3 or other invincible move and he can not mash buttons to try to hit you). As a result, this is safe, but obviously, you will not frame trap your opponent, your blockstring will end soon and you can not really do a mix-up. So, a very simple concept is to do a true blockstring, call an assist and go for an high-low mix-up. If you don't have assist available, you usually need to either try to frame trap (by slightly delaying) or try to find a reset point. If you want to test you have a true blocktring, go in training mode and put your opponent in all guard and reflect. If he reflect during your blocktring, then, it's not a true blockstring. Hope that helps !
The easiest thing to do would be to end your blockstring with 5M, which is safe on block. If you're okay with ending with a frame-trap, 5S and 236L are both safe as well.
I mean people are already seeing a lot of weaknesses with the character forcing people to play him certain ways, even if he can be played a lot of ways. I think at this point if more people start complaining, they're not actually complaining about game balance. They just don't want playstyle variety in fighting games. (And these will be the same people complaining that DBFZ is too homogeneous...)
Landing during an air combo, and then extending the combo (usually with a microdash > jump light). Not every character has this as an option, but many characters can do it after heavy attacks midscreen. Dekillsage put up a video on how to do this a while back that I'd suggest looking at.
I still don’t understand all the terminology that involves the numbers. Like I have no idea what 246s or 235s or 6h or any of the technical terms mean in like the slightest. Like whenever I watch any of the other videos, you throw those around so haphazardly, so it’s hard for me to fully understand what you’re saying. I want to pick the game up and get better at it, but this shit is like Latin to me.
It's numpad notation, used a lot in anime fighting games. It's weird to get used to it at first but it's super simple. The numbers mean a certain direction (ie. 6 means forward and 4 means backwards). So 236 means a quarter circle forward. Look at the numpad on your keyboard and learn the directions for translation. Hope that helps
This video doesnt actually answer the important questions about UI Goku: 1: Why is he the best pay-to-win character so far? 2: When will he get a super that puts his shirt back on? 3: Is the fact the mastered ultra instinct theme doesnt play whenever he dodges, counters, supers, dashes, combos, vanishes or walks a bug, or will that be dlc as well? 4: Why is he just a rip-off of Gohan Blanco? 5: How long will it be till we STOP seeing him in literally EVERY online team comp? 6: Can his dodge attack dodge his opponents dodge attack off his dodge attack afterhe dodges a dodge attack? 7: How did UI Goku get in over UI Shaggy? Didnt even touch on a single _inportant_ question in this video! I blame your community for being so short sighted.
Ahhh yes, the beard game is on point 🎙

kieffer in disguise I think it's better as a nice assist.
this kind of video is helpful for just about any level player, and it’s entertaining, So I think it’s pretty good
Yeah Rath is probably the perfect mix between being welcoming and enjoyable while also being optimal and competitive when it’s right.

Fun fact MUI goku's only 3 moves who can't catch superdash es are his 2m and both of his grabs(from autocombo and from flip)
I love this Character so much. Now I rock him and Jiren and the counters straight up deter people from attacking.
Same his infinity rush works so well with ui goku

i think taking some questions from Twitter/YT comments and addressing it during the stream would be helpful as well for those who can’t tune in live
Gt goku seemed S tier immediately. Ui goku just seems really good and different
Actually some people was iffy with GT until Goichi, Fenrich, etc started posting tech with him. Me included since he was different

These stream and question videos are going to be so sick.
Also, please keep the music going it makes the videos so enjoyable
This guy may have just become one of my favorite content creators. Great stuff
Now I have a reason to watch a stream looking forward to it
Quarantine beard coming in strong
That saga of the question at the end lmaoooo
Your whole channel just comes in clutch
this was a great video man
It has a rejump in the corner, 5H,5S and then superdash
yeah this is epic
Great vid
Awesome to see you teaching tech in Fighterz. If only I can put what you say in practice. Also, glad to see you streaming keep up the good work.
Can you make a touch of death 101?
Love the music in the background and the information you give out.. I just need to practice.
I think he wants a Yamcha /Kefla type assist

How do you define a “true block string”?

A true block string can not be interupted even by invincible reversals like dps or lvl 3
You both have been incredibly helpful. This is going to help me greatly
