When you consider the complexity of what this bloke is doing you have to be amazed. He obviously has an encyclopedic knowledge of transmissions and combined with a large set of circlip plyers and the ever present big hammer he makes it look all too easy.
I've watched so many of these videos and STILL haven't a clue what all the parts are, where they go and most of all, when seen scattered in trays and upon cardboard, shudder at the ability of these guys to sort, replace and refit the whole unit. Allah must have gifted these lads photographic memories, for if I was to attempt this, photographed, labelled and videoed the whole process, I would be seen weeping beside that pile of parts and head for home, defeated... Well done lads and remain astounded at your abilities..

Unbelievable amount of knowledge displayed here ... rebuilding a normal 4 speed gearbox is tricky enough but when you get into overdrive and high low ratio gears etc etc you really need to know your stuff ..well done guys I bet that ran as sweet as a nut when you had finished 👍 just out of curiosity what would this repair cost including parts ?

Ok, I must say I thought it was harder to rebuild the transmission. I have to rebuild mine so I will give it a try.

Actually didn't ask from the mechanics, but as compared to America & Europe its very cheap here.
