I did the Oravareitti (Squirrel) trail in August 2023. Fantastic 3 day kayak trail. We continued another 4 days to Anatolla. While spectacular, it did become a little monotonous with countless beautiful lakes and forested uplands all looking pretty much the same. Be aware it is very, very easy to get lost because telling where the land starts and islands end is not easy. They blend in vesytifully. Also, we got caught in the tail end of Storm Hans, which resulted in some very challenging paddling die to wind and waves. Fantastic country. Well worth the trip.
Lake Inari is amazing. Did a three-day trip from Ivalo to Inari with my brother, me in my Itiwit X500 and him in an Intex Challenger K2 with all the gear :P Sitting here in Oulu on an Easter weekend that was forecast to be warm and sunny, watching it snow hard, it feels so far away. But soon. Not yet, but soon.
Lake Inari is definitely on my bucket list and oh my does it look stunning! But also the Finnish archipelago is beautiful and I hope PaddleTV gets there too! ;)
Awesome paddle tails. The adventures you do in other countries make me want to do some traveling. Im not familiar with melker kayaks but they look like fantastic kayaks. Thanks for the video!
Nice video! Haven't been to Lapland with a kayak yet, but I'm working on it. I just got my kayak from our cottage today, where it was stored for the winter. The sea will clear of ice soon near my home here in Helsinki! Can't wait to get out there for kayaking trips!
Already thinking about planning a trip there next year with the PakAyaK after watching this. So beautiful, however the only problem would be once I get to an island and pitch my tent, I wouldn't want to leave. One thing you forgot Ken Lapland is also Farther Christmases second home during December time.
OK, just added another place to go onto my bucket list. Peaceful, no engines, people, etc, and nature...is there really a place like that left in this world?
I don’t get how your videos don’t have more views.. far and away the best content on RUclips!

Nice!
Love my rodloga.. stunning piece of craftsmanship. It's so pretty it's like a decoration on your wall when you're not using it.
Great video
Thanks so much!
Lapland looks stunning, really loving your travel videos lately. Keep them coming

I would LOVE to go there!
@@PaddleTV in case you happen to be around the capital area and in a need of a little adventure along the archipelago, hit me up! :)
Thanks Ken, I got to see a place I'd never be able to visit and thru the eyes of a kayaker.
Cheers. I love traveling with a purpose (paddling). It lets you see places that you wouldn't otherwise.
Hope soon I’ll have the opportunity to travel to Finland, it’s a very beautiful place
It's amazing to find cloudberries in the meadows biome. Usually, those berries are found in the plains.
I love paddle tales. You have some epic adventures! This would be an incredible trip to go on.
Amazing. Loving the recent videos. Hopefully the filming isn't ruining your vacation too much 😊
Ha! Loving every minute of it! :)
Great to be able to paddle different worlds ....
:)

My pleasure to 'test' paddling destinations. :)

Spent a wonderful day in Helsinki during our travels! You live in a great part of the world!
@@PaddleTV Wish I'd known you were here. Would have been fun to sit down for a pint!

So much different than Haiti. I wonder what the biggest difference between the two is. (Sarcasm)
