About: The Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world's best pilots in a motorsports competition based on speed, precision and skill. Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, Red Bull Air Race pilots navigate a low-level aerial race track made up of air filled pylons, flying at speeds reaching 230mph while withstanding forces of up to 10g. The objective is to complete the course, navigating the 65 feet high specially designed inflatable pylons known as Air Gates in the fastest possible time. Red Bull Air Race pilots must pass between the Air Gates in the correct position taking care not to touch them with their wings. The pilots compete for points at each Red Bull Air Race and the one who accumulates the most at the end of the season is crowned Red Bull Air Race World Champion.

The feeling that Red Bull Air Race is finally coming to an end, hasn't really sunk in. I really wish something could be done to save this INCREDIBLE sport. I was so excited when it was announced that Saudi Arabia is where the season finale is going to take place. All my excitement was dashed in one paragraph. I hope one day Red Bull Air Race will return and return in style. Wishing Matt Hall and all the other 13 Pilots all the best for the remainder of the season. Can't wait for #Kazan #AirRace...keep pushing folks! \m/ \m/
Absolutely gutted that red bull air race is no longer going to be a thing... This race is the pinnacle of motorsport. Its a sad day indeed

Not sure if anyone gives a damn but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my brother for the last few weeks :)

After watching this again It makes me so happy that Matt got the last Red Bull world championship.

I went to an open day at Williamstown RAAF where Matt trained, when I was about 14... and I was like 'YEP THIS IS WHAT I AM DOING NOW' ... I'm deaf, and I wear glasses, so I wasn't allowed. :) No regrets though, what I do now is brilliant. Watching people like Matt do what I wanted to do is amazingly inspirational. I grew up 2 minutes away.

Hi Matt, great video and career 👍. I've noticed on your MXR the aileron is 3/4 the length of the wing, the MX2 aileron goes the full length. Is the MXR aileron like that for more speed through areo dynamics? Truly an amazing aircraft , would love to build one!!
