Sorry to hear about the car accident!! I was in one several years ago. I have two lives: before & after the accident. Take time to rest, heal and recuperate. I didn't and and I am paying for it many years later. Take good care!!
I really like this variation of the Celtic Cross spread. I’ve been kind of stagnant with my tarot readings and spreads so I’ll have to give this a try. Your channel is very inspirational to me, thank you!
⭐️⭐️⭐️ what a great way to read Celtic Cross. :) I'm so sorry about your car accident. I hope you are healing and doing OK. Your channel is one of my go to! I've learned a lot from you. Thank you!
I really enjoyed giving myself a reading using your version of the Celtic Cross. I'm very attracted to the Everyday Witch Tarot but haven't purchased it yet. Instead, I used The Good Tarot by Colette Baron-Reid and Sword of Light Oracle by Radleigh Valentine, both Hayhouse decks. The placement of the overshadow card makes a lot of sense to me, and I found it helpful to keep the obstacle card turned over until the end of the reading. I also loved using an Oracle card to wrap the whole thing up. That was just the icing on the cake. Thanks again, April. Enjoy the day. Wen
*** I love this spread! I’ve only been reading tarot for 18 months or so and I’m a bit apprehensive about big spreads, especially the Celtic cross! You made it seem so accessible though so thank you! I am going to I’ve it a try. I’m currently in therapy dealing with childhood trauma and think i want to formulate a question around that. It all looks full steam ahead for you which is great especially after your accident xx
@@TarotandWitchery thank you! I actually tried it just last night for my blog and was totally blown away. I used the Fifth Spirit Tarot and it was amazing
Love this spread! I’m still pretty new to tarot and haven’t attempted a Celtic cross yet but this seems very accessible. I’m going to give it a go! Also as a newby I’ve found a lack of resources that show how experienced readers actually use their cards and do larger readings. I have difficulty with linking the cards together and content like this is really helpful. So thank you!
🌟🌟🌟 Wow, I haven’t read with the Celtic cross in *years* … why?? No idea! But I loved this version and used the wild wood tarot coupled with the mystical shaman oracle and wowzers was it SPOT on!! One of those readings where you feel both called out and supported at the same time 😅 I enjoyed the way you discussed the “overshadowing” card as a lens, that leant a new perspective that I found really helpful.
Love this version!! Love the deck as well!! I am drawn to oracle decks vs tarot, but I do have several of both. I don't do the spreads, due to time & health issues. I do let the cards tell me what I need. I ask a few questions, shuffle w/ea. question and open my heart & mind to the insight/guidance/wisdom given to me. Love this video!!!! Thank you so much. --Tess
What matters is not how we read the cards, but that we do. So good to hear that you are comfortable reading your way. Too many people get stuck on a what they think they have to do (like spreads), and miss the joy of the cards!
@@TarotandWitchery So true! I got stuck in that cycle and being new to my path in magick, about 4 years in, I just started doing what felt right for me. I do some spreads, smaller ones. I think too, that it also has some to do with where we are at on our path. The more we learn, try, experiment and experience, the more acquainted we become with the magick within ourselves and in the world around us and that inspires us to keep growing in our own path of spirituality. I really love your videos!! Thank you for all you do to gift us with them. --Tess
🌟🌟🌟 Thank you for this Celtic Cross variation - it makes so much to use the overshadow card this way. ❤. And I just tried out this spread - it made so much sense for my situation!
I love your videos and continue to learn so much from you. I like this spread a lot esp the stairway- sometimes I would like to do 2 or 3 conclusion cards instead of just the #10 because I always find spreads go into such detail and then a one card wrap up doesnt seem to cover it lol so I may sneak a future year from now #12
I love this spread you shared. Thank you! I tried it out right after I watched this. It is spot on. Funnily, I drew the 9 of swords in the Hopes and Fears spot. I do feel like my fears and anxious thoughts have been overshadowing my hopes right now. I know you read it as something you’re hoping for but also fear. I’m not sure if I am hoping for nine of swords. How would you approach this card in this position? Loving your channel! Thank you.
It would make more sense with the rest of the cards I'm sure, but maybe your mind is actually a great asset. You fear your mind and it's guidance, but it's also a source of great hope. Remember that the reading is a snapshot of right now. Maybe you give yourself better counsel than you think. Some of the "NOs" you maybe contemplating may actually be wisdom...
ooooh but the 2 of swords is not the 10 of swords ( just a comment not a criticism) I am so enjoying the description of the cards !!! and I have this deck will try your layout I like it! cheers

I need to do an update on my life in Tarot... catch everyone up. I have been faithful with my Pt. It's the only thing that helped.

Check out my free learning library, too, for more spreads. There's a link to it in the descriptions of my videos.
Thank you for that. I love being able to see how people read cards it helps me learn
You are so welcome
⭐⭐⭐ That's a cool twist on the Celtic spread!
Try it out...

⭐️⭐️⭐️ I only occasionally use the CC and always lay it traditionally but I love this and am switching as of now!
I hope it suits you 😊

I just do a standard Celtic Cross. I don't use it very often, but it suits my needs when I do.
Tried and true!

I hope you do. Just take your time and don't make it "a thing".
Have fun with your readings!
🌠💫🌟 I like the steps.

🌟 🌟 🌟 I almost never use the Celtic Cross spread. I like your enhanced version though. Good flow between the positions. Thank you for sharing this.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don’t use Celtic crosses.
Thank you for sharing this version, will give it a try. Did you mean to say the Two of Swords, instead of the Ten of Swords, in your reading?
Probably! I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to, but if you saw that card, it was probably a brain blurp....😊
ooooh but the 2 of swords is not the 10 of swords ( just a comment not a criticism) I am so enjoying the description of the cards !!! and I have this deck will try your layout I like it! cheers
Lol! Someone else caught this. I must have been tired reading, or just a brain blurp?!
So good at any rate!!! Cheers
