I loved the one with Weird Al, my favourite is probably the sketch one because it's so goofy and surreal, the animator really did a good job at making the weird funny.
It's weird how the alleged "worst" seasons have the best couch gags EDIT: I never said I hated Season 34, but I have heard some people say how the Simpsons sucks nowadays (even though these couch gags seem to prove otherwise on some level).
I really enjoyed the couch gags this season! Its really cool how they celebrated the 750th episode! My favourite is easily the one inside the couch though

I love that Anthony Kiedis was in the last S34 couch gag. That's obviously not what he looks like now, but I don't care. All that matters to me is that he was there and he was noticed by Matt again.
@@jardex2275 Yes, Lisa has celebrated her birthday was in season 3's "Stark Raving Dad" and season 14's "The dad who knew too little". She also celebrated her birthday on season 32's "Treehouse of horror XXXI", Bart has celebrated his birthday on Season 3's "Radio Bart", but I don't really remember any other moments where they celebrate his birthday. And Maggie has celebrated her birthday on Season 5's (I'm not sure) "Lady Bouvier's lover" (I don't know if I wrote the episode title right, but anyways...) And Season 14's "Moe Baby Blues".
It's actually canon in this show that Homer is a huge fan of Al, he's made that pretty obvious in Season 14 and Season 17 when Al guest starred in those seasons. Hearing Homer tell Al that he can't stay for dinner just seemed very out-of-character for him.
If they grew up, Homer and Marge would be like very old, 60s or so, Abe would probably be dead by that point, Maggie would be a teenager and Bart and Lisa young adults.
trust me in this season lisa simpson is still an 8 year old child, maggie is still a baby that never talks never amounts to anything because her family wanted it that way, and bart is still an evil canevil kid from hell.
And well, A couch gag at Best is one an episode, and on this season, they only had couch gags on like 8 episodes, which is less than half of the season.
Is that the same guy who played him in the show? Because the voice heard in the "Inside the Couch" couch gag sounds identical to Alf's original voice heard in his show.
While these are great i kinda miss the really simple ones like the dog couch gag from season 34. A lot of gags feels like they're just tryinh to pad the run time. Ever since the Rick and Morty gag it feels like the writers keep tryin to find ways to make the episode shorter and the couch gag longer to compensate. I understand that some episodes naturally run their course and dont always have to be 22 minutes but sometimes it feels like the idea isn't strong enough so they just go "screw it, vouch gag time". I don't know though. Maybe thats just me.

I love how they started to grow more creative with couch gags.
If only they still have it for the whole show.
and the old animation style@@IdaliBaez-em8ei
Modern simpsons having more extravagant couch gags is just their equivalent of modern family guys overreliance on cutaway gags
And Les creative with shoe show (in terms of enjoyability)
I think they are going do this again in season 36
I loved the one with Weird Al, my favourite is probably the sketch one because it's so goofy and surreal, the animator really did a good job at making the weird funny.
His name is Bill Plympton, and that sketch style is amazing. He has several movies, and compilations of shorts.
@@Babbleplay Yeah he's done lots of Simpsons Couch Gags and my favorite of this season is the one with 750 characters
Jus because of the new mv of wierd al?
This is the original video. We were later contacted by the producers on The Simpsons who requested to use it for episode "My Fare Lady" S26 Ep14.
3:44 Finally, the complete theme song is back! I love the episodes with the theme song.
Would’ve been hard to fit 750 characters into a short opening credits
They forgot the bus stop people from the old version of the intro from the first couple episodes
4:21 Apu is still alive!! Disney didn’t erase him from existence after all
Or they just brought him back

More effort is put into them than the actual episodes

But I'm sure there's a lot of references

Max Power Answers that
Yes. I would hate to have that many people in my house.
Fun fact: you can see Mothra and Bill Cipher in the last gag
And Ryuk from Death Note!
The fact they actually got Weird Al to voice himself...
They get every celebrity to voice themselves
Weird Al is no stranger to voicing himself in shows
