What a beautiful day!!! It was fun to see other shellers and their finds!! Of course I love all the beautiful moons!! Come visit me in Texas and you can find some perfect shark eye moon shells!!!!!
Sand dollars are living organisms, in the same phylum as sea urchins and starfish. (You can tell by the 5 based radial symmetry.) White sand dollars are the shells from dead ones, but the grey ones are still alive.
Plum island was my go to beach when i was a teenager. This was 45 years ago. There were always great finds. Thanks for the beach memory, been in LA for a long time😊
Congratulations on the shark eye today. And, lots of moons and mega moons. How fun! And, oh my - the banded Jasper is amazing. Now . . . go warm your cold, red hand! lol
Jamie girl!! I need oxygen! The sand dollars just take my breath away!!! Oh how I love them. Moons are awesome too, beautiful colors but the cold water sand dollars just make me silly crazy!! Fun adventure as always, Thanks for making my evening!!
Mahoosive 😂😂😂 Hi Jaime and Kim. There are so many luscious moons. Think Kim needs a bigger bucket 😂 The shark eye was an amazing find. Love to you all from AJ, Bertie, the Scottish beach dog, and I ❤️ 🏴
Beautiful moons and so many others, thanks for taking us to the beach, I'm going to Florida in May and really excited about shelling, have a good week!!
What a great haul of shells! I really love the moonsnail with that stripe. Never knew that the foot of a moonsnail was so big. Learned something new today. Thank you for taking us with you on your shelling adventure! I really appreciate it! 💙
Thank you for another great shell finding video. Thanks for letting us see what a live moon snail looks like. I did not realize how big the foot was. Amazing! Beautiful beach out there. You got some really interesting shells out there.
I have to say that you have one gorgeous shelling spot! Even if there were no shells, what beautiful scenery! But add in the moons and the other finds? Awesome!
I enjoyed looking at all the different finds today. The dog whelks are just so cute. The colors in the moons are so vibrant, I love them all. Happy shelling my friend. Abrazos from WI!!!
All those repairs in those shells (or scars) show that the animals live in a rocky environment. An open door really, because there are stones everywhere on the beach, but still it shows. Maybe you might be able to find smoother shells in areas without all those rocks . Then again, rocky areas might provide more food for those animals I suppose. and about getting the loot home with that large find: if wood would be a good loot, you should loot good wood if you could...
WHAT! A shark eye WOW! That is flipping crazy! Crazy AWSOME! Ok just finished watching and holy smokes! So glad you took the banded jasper! Living in Montana I have zero shell hunting opportunities however I do go rock hounding so I certainly can appreciate the beautiful rocks for sure! Still in shock you found that shark eye! I am headed to Marco island In a few weeks and I can’t wait to find some shark eyes! Just an awesome day at the beach I could watch for hours!! Thank you for sharing!!
Hi Sara!! I was just as shocked as you were! We've had a lot storms lately and that's the only thing I can think of that would have coughed up a shark eye from the Cape or maybe further south! It could also be they're starting to migrate north because the conditions on PI can support them
My favorite time of the week! Nice finds Jaime! I always call them the innies and the outie bellybuttons of the sea. I love that you found one💜🧜🏻♀️🐚🦀🦈🦭🌅
So much fun watching. Thank you for showing a quick glimpse of the snail in the moon. Hard to believe something that large lives in that shell. So incredible
@@PlumIslandSeaCabin it really is. I know people hate bothering the animals, but what a great learning lesson before putting them back to continue on with their life.
Hi Laura! Thanks so much for subscribing and supporting my channel! I hope you get a few opportunities to visit some beaches and collect a few shells! Where are you from?
@@PlumIslandSeaCabin try shelling Revere in the winter! You'll be amazed at how many shells you'll find. Especially shark eyes! I'll say hello if I see you!
Tuesday evenings are my favorite 😊 Shelling 🐚🐚🐚 with Jaime 😊 So many beautiful things to see. I love the ocean scenes so relaxing watching the waves. Loved the little dog whelk with the yellow top toward the end and the wonderful sea glass you found for Kim. I sincerely hope that after you stopped filming, you went back and got the gorgeous rock that looked to be copper and charcoal for your garden. It looked exactly like a giant Easter egg. Perfect timing.
Whoa - a Live One! This is the week for awesome finds. Is it a sign to play the lotto? (I said the same thing to Sharmon when she kept finding hinged rose petal tellins😊)
Hi Ann! We are located on Plum Island, Newbury Massachusetts! For a shell hunt, keep an eye on my Etsy page. I post a shell hunt when the conditions are right.
Hi Ann! Plum Island has multiple species of shells in the double digits. We are just obsessed with moons. LOL. To name a few cold water shells - baskets whelks, common welks, false angel wings, the Atlantic deep sea scallop, Atlantic surf clams, razor clams, periwinkle, dog welks, blue mussels, ribbed mussels, horse mussels, the ever elusive new england Neptune and the MORE ELUSIVE Pelican foot! There are so many more! We love them all!

Happy memories!! I hear Plum Island was so different back then. I bet it was quieter with less homes.
What an awesome day!

Fantastic finds today!! 🐚🐌🐕🥰
Looks like a napkin ring
Beautiful moons and so many others, thanks for taking us to the beach, I'm going to Florida in May and really excited about shelling, have a good week!!
Hi Marcia! Yes - it could be a napkin ring! But why is it flat on the bottom?
Exactly what I thought. Maybe got broken off on one side, wood does splinter
@@PlumIslandSeaCabin Some napkin rings are flat on the bottom so they stay flat on the table, & not roll around.
@@PlumIslandSeaCabin Good question, its just the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw it
So beautiful
What beautiful shells again. Thank you for sharing your videos. Love seeing the sun on the ocean. So beautiful. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Thanks for watching Toni!
Lovely finds on this treasure hunt!! Love those Blue Muscles!! The Jasper stone is awesome! Of course, I always love the Moon Snails!

Awesome shark eye! My beach here on the north shore is actually covered with them! You should come shelling sometime Jamie. We find lots!

It’s a thread spool, I think
I love how excited you get with your shells even though you have found many of these your excitement is amazing
It's the hunt Gracie!! I just love the hunt!!
a type of spool for fishing line?
Oh! I never thought of that! Possibly! Great guess!
Awesome video! At 12:23, upper left corner, are those periwinkles? I'm assuming they are alive, but do you find empty ones often?
Yes! We get a ton of empty periwinkles here! When you visit, I'll show you!
Where are you located? The moon shells are totally amazing! We have them in NJ but not THAT big! I’d love to purchase a shell find!

The shells are nice but your camera movements are giving me vertigo. Good luck with your shelling.
I'm sorry the camera movements give you vertigo. I try to move slowly but it can be difficult to see how it looks on camera when the sun is bright.
