Not sure if these were harder than average, but this is by far my worst result; however, I love a good challenge, and learning new things, so great work on this one. I did get Quotient on the bonus.
I got 31, not my best but I highly recommend your quizzes for working your memory and it's great fun! Where do you live that's so hot? Pennsylvania, U.S.A. is having winter now.
26/50: Not my best day, but I am not well traveled and I don't get into popular culture... Bonus answer: Quotient Also kinda missed doing these (work downtime).
Yes, you asked what does the Q stand for in IQ. It s the word Quotient as in Intelligence Quotient. Didn t do too well on the other questions, especially the places, and what animal is this
Here's an easy way to remember Sulphric Acid. Little Johnny's gone to rest, his face we'll see no more. For what he thought was H2O, was H2SO4. Bit gruesome, I know, it's stuck with me since my schooldays.
IQ -- At least initially, it stood for "quotient". One could argue that Q stands for "quantitiy". (Similarly, is DVD "Digital Video Disc" or "Digital Versatile Disc"?)
Bonus question - Quotient. The answer to question 23 is Enola Gay (named by the captain of the plane which dropped the bomb over Hiroshima). My worst ever performance - just 34/50.
Q stands for quotient. BTW, you need to have an editor! In January, at least twice you had someone's name instead of a date! (Plus, you frequently mispronounce words....) But I really enjoy your quizzes!
If you look closely at the question, it asked what was the "antonym" - or opposite - of "thwart", not a similar definition of that term - which would have been a "synonym". Hence, "encourage" was indeed the correct answer.
Hello, I missed 10 questions out of 50, by the way do you know where the Ponte Vecchio Bridge is Located, its in Florence, Italy, I saw it there when I took a trip to Italy, and I tell you Italy makes our Country Look Bad, the people there were very nice and bent over backwards to take care of us especially when they found out we were Americans! People overseas in all the good countries have a high respect for Americans and I don't see why as we have rapists and black gansters, and Republicans who are always caught stealing money from us and accepting gifts from other people to make a decision in their way! Not many Democrates do that! It's always a republican take a look at that minister who was a republican and got caught cheating on his wife! Anyways the Answer to IQ is Intelligence Quotient And if you are a Republican I am sorry if I offended you because I am a Democrate (sp?)! Any way thank you for the Quiz and have a stupendous day! 🤔
@@conniekullmann2824 I've had food allergies, hay fever, asthma, etc. my whole life so I've been to allergy clinics more than I can count. Scratch tests are still common and give you instant feedback. Blood tests are more definitive, but scratch tests are very useful. I've had two in the past 2 months.
After having a stroke, your tests help me sharpen my memory skills

I don't think thwart means encourage. I think it means to foil, disrupt, oppose. Regards
ANTONYM
I believe the question asked for the antonym (opposite).
@@lindalewis7098 Yep! your right...apologies
He asked for the antonyms, or opposite, so the answer was correct.
QUOTIENT
Correct!
QUOTIENT.
quotient love your shows but some questions are worded incorrectly making the answers obviously technically incorrect.
Let's see if I can spell it, quotient.
the answer to thwart is wrong. check a thesaurus.
The answer to Question 18 was wrong. Thwart does not mean Encourage. To thwart means to prevent....Foil should be the right answer
If you look closely at the question, it asked what was the "antonym" - or opposite - of "thwart", not a similar definition of that term - which would have been a "synonym". Hence, "encourage" was indeed the correct answer.
Too hard for me
Did not do very well on this , the Q stands for quotient. Intelligence quotient

Doctors don't so scratch tests anymore. Allergies can be determined by a simple blood test now.
Better tell my husband, he just had a scratch test recently!
Not all allergies, certain chronic skin conditions affecting mast cells I believe are tested with scratch tests.
My husband recently had a scratch too🤔
