Thanks for the great video! Would you recommend the Grand Sirenis or Paradisus Cayo Santa Maria for a young family similar to yours. Trying to decide between the two. Thanks! :)
Hi there, we booked through selloffvacations. The only way to guarantee connecting room is to call their agent and tell them instead of booking online yourself. You can also ask them if there are any special promotions right now. Sometimes they knock off an extra 25 bux per room.
hi there. It's definitely NOT mandatory. However, if you have young kids, you might want to get it for ease of mind. I've been travelling with young kids for many years. Sometimes, the pool water isn't as clean, the food often gave them stomach problems. We've had to use our insurance a couple of times. We have a great credit card which comes with travel insurance for the card holder and their immediate family. So we've never actually purchased any travel insurance. Check with your credit card company to find out if your card comes with travel insurance. If it does, make sure you book your vacation with that credit card.@@lindatran614
@KeevasFamily thank you so much! I just booked. The reviews are very discouraging. Please let me know what I need to bring with us. I have a 2 year old baby. Do they have milk?
Yes, not everyday though. Cold milk right next to the very limited cereal section. They are not consistent with what they put out everyday. In my vague memory, I remember they consistently had several jugs filled with weird tasting yogurt for breakfast, and cold tea. No juice at all. I'd bring some formula just in case. @@lindatran614
HI there, yes there was, right next to the theatre. A large tennis court and a half size basketball court. No lock, you can walk right in. I never saw it being used though. I don't recall any employees working at that area.
Would you recommend the Grand Sirenis or Paradisus Cayo Santa Maria? For some reason I can't see the response regarding this to the other comment. Thanks!!!!!
Hi there, Paradisus for sure! The resort is much newer, there's a big playground for kids, there's more food options. The only advantage Grand Sirenis had was a better beach. The sandy area at paradisus was much smaller.
Hi there. When i visited, it was 25 degrees for the first 2 days, 27ish for the rest. Super sunny everyday. 25 degrees was kind of cold for me, but it seemed fine for other travellers (I get cold easily). I wore my wetsuit. 27 degrees was perfect.
Hii!! Me and my family are planning on going here on March 13th, how do you do the reservation? Is it from an Application or you have to go to main lobby to do a restaurant reservation? Please let me know thanks a lot ❤
Hi there, there's a desk in the lobby (across from reception desk) which opens at 9am (I believe, double check with reception) everyday. You can make the reservations for your entire trip in one sitting. A hotel worker will help you do the reservation by hand. They'll give you a handwritten note with your reservation info. By 9:30am, there's a huge line going around the lobby, so make sure you start lining up before 9am.
not the best. The buffet barely changed from day to day. Huge lineup for omelettes in the morning. The A-la-cart restaurants all serve the same food. You won't starve, but don't expect much. Just remember you are there for the amazing beach.@@Nicnic-bb8wo
Thank you for the amazing hotel review! we will be there on February 28
