Pajama Llama I wouldn't compare the 2 though. Both are epic songs, depends on the mood on which song of the 2 I would listen to. But hey, you're not wrong. Sometimes Awkward is better than Daydreaming and vice versa. All depends on the mood. 😁
Great tune. Saiki sings about a relationship that is over and as you move or have moved on you accidentally run into your old lover and his new thing and you feel awkward. Love this band to the death.

Just friggin beautiful. Band Maid does it again. I don't remember a female band ever , that has had the skills of playing , singing and writing as BM. Funnily I played this a while ago, and thought was okay , but on this second listen realized its bloody full tilt genius.
MISA co-arranged this song with Kanami and Akane and there were several different versions, but MISA put her bare foot down once they played through this version and insisted it was her favorite!💪🏻🤘🏻
Okay, I have to admit that one was new to me and it was outstanding. Struth's reactions that are always played through with no pausing bullshit makes it that much better.
I was recommended to listen to this band on a baby metal chat ...day after I went out and bought two of there albums. This band should be a world wide phenomenon, excellent vocals and outstanding music..what more do you need ?
Band-Maid does make use of MIDI backing tracks during live shows at times, such as the synth/strings you hear on Awkward, but they never overdo it. The backing tracks never carry the song and they could easily play this and all of their songs without them, unlike some other bands I've heard.

In Daydreaming the song starts with a beautiful piano intro performed by Kanami who then walks over to her guitar after that intro but, obviously, carrying a piano around from small venue to small venue is not very practical. In the band's first and second forays out of Japan the ladies had to haul their equipment around by themselves. That's something they no longer have to do. I heard a few years ago Band-Maid got on a plane for a European show. Band-Maid got to the show alright but their guitars, amps and drums didn't make it. They put the show on with other people's musical instruments and amps. The show must go on!
Being that Band Maid has released three or four live songs. From their concert DVD filmed in February of this year. I'm suprised you haven't done any reactions of them yet. Domination, Choose Me, Freedom and Wonderland. Unless of course I missed them. Keep up the good work !
I think the cool thing about this song is that some of the change ups feel "awkward" in an intentional way. It's really cool. The song makes you think it's going one way, but then it goes a different direction. That's my interpretation.

I said before, this song is a masterpiece of rock ballad. Kanami is a genius. And Misa helped out heavily on this one as well in composing.

This is definitely my favourite song from them,IMO it sums up band maid itself.. perfectly blend of genre.. awkwardly masterpiece .. ✌✌
