8 years ago, i was running up hills and consistently working out. training and listening to hajime no ippo osts, esp this one and rising star. It motivated me to become better and eventually became a United States Marine. gives me nostalgia listening to this. it's crazy how anime music gave me a lot of motivatioon.
I swear there is something in this anime. This is the only thing pushing me through med school right now and i dont know how. I study for 6 hours non stop and then i asked myself, would ippo give up?? Well, NO. Then i grind in another two hours till I cant take it anymore
The Manga got me interested in boxing 25 years ago. Changed my life. I'm out of the sport now but training my son who just discovered my collection of the Manga. Lol some of those books went to Iraq with me

Once again, AMAZING AMV!! The last 50 seconds from 3:05 onwards was just beautiful, seeing Kamo running Ippo ragged and seeing him shadow boxing by the very tree that started it all and, to have that set to Hekireki NEVER fails at getting me pumped! Epic song, godlike series and fantastic editing skills all came together to make a damn good AMV!!

@Michael Hernandez actually season 4 was rumored and expected to release this last month or last 2 months I guess and sadly it didn’t release and you should try reading the manga because it has lots of cool story arcs. It might get you disappointed because of the character developments and stuff but I won’t spoil anything

I want to thank my nephew "Nano" for showing me this show. It motivated me to get back in shape. I put the beer down and working on my diet. Really felt the characters were alive in this show. Hopefully we can get another season. ✊🏻

And the people who actually do read the manga r probably disappointed at ippo's latest developments in the manga. If there were English versions of hajime no ippo manga I'd definitely buy it. But since it's only available in Japanese and since I'm from India I can't really do that

SPOILERS FOR MANGA Ippo is becoming a monster in his retirement, not only has his power and speed nearly doubled from the weights on his arms and legs but he has also mastered dodging, learned to effectively use counters, upgraded the dempsey roll and is learning how fight ambidextrous/southpaw and theres no telling how far he will improve in the future as well. Please i want ippo to have at least 1 more match with it being against ricardo martinez win or lose i just wanna see him go all out with everything hes learned. Miyata also deserves his fight against ippo even though I think ippo would win medium to high difficulty leaning more toward high.

Ippo is becoming a monster in his retirement, not only has his power and speed nearly doubled from the weights on his arms and legs but he has also mastered dodging, learned to effectively use counters, upgraded the dempsey roll and is learning how fight ambidextrous/southpaw and theres no telling how far he will improve in the future as well. Please i want ippo to have at least 1 more match with it being against ricardo martinez win or lose i just wanna see him go all out with everything hes learned. Miyata also deserves his fight against ippo even though I think ippo would win medium to high difficulty leaning more toward high.
