This is very true. People pass faker in ranking all the time you never hear about those people. Just being good at a game has limits, skill does not equal entertainment. People like faker because he has those impossible moments.

I _kinda_ agree? If a game has high skill ceiling there's a certain point where only people at the similar skill level will be able to fully appreciate what you do, for everyone else it will just look like major tryharding or some dark magic

She is absolutely right. I used to enjoy Rainbow Six Siege until I no lifed it for a couple months and reached Diamond. From there I started to just get frustrated with very one sided matches vs guys in Pro teams or extremely sweaty and not fun at all close games. If I have never gotten better and stayed at Silver, I can see myself playing it to this day. Those couple first seasons where the best Imo.
