As Of what I know mileage in superbikes depends on the throttle input and not on traffic or free roads Cuz in these more the throttle more fuel consumed u have got better mileage in traffic cuz maybe u weren't hard on the throttle as much u are in the highways, so just don't go full throttle cuz it consumes fuel like open tap when the throttle is fully opened
To check proper mileage and since you have fortuner with you ek bar tank ko full kardo and ek litre petrol bottle me rkhke fortuner ya apne paas rakho. Then ride until tank dries out. Jitna total distance cover kiya usko divide krna. Mileage pata chal jayega. Then ek liter petrol bottle wala dalke go to next petrol pump
