Also Somalis are outnumbered and have the largest exclusive territory for one single ethnic group in the whole of Africa. You didnt colonize shit, the British and Italians were losing the war and wanted to bring Ethiopia in by giving them Ogaden on a poece of paper. Selassie tried to bring order in rhe 1930s and failed, in the 70s Somalis were at the gates of Addis, but like always Ethiopia cant fight a war alone and a unilateral withdrawal of somali troops was ordered. Ethiopia is blessed that the somalis, generally, are isolationists and have little interest in expanding their territories.
