@@Geekmunks The difficulty was part of my drive. I haven't felt that kind of challenge from a Fortnite game since 2017. Loved it so much. Still a great mode though.
@ToppSpeed88 yeah everyone these days thinks they deserve to be treated like a little kid and deserve a participation trophy just for showing up. Maybe boomers were right about gen z all along
@@GeekmunksI’ve played since Ch1 season 2. There’s no fun in playing against players leagues better than you. I showed very little growth in chapter 1 across the seasons because of how much I didn’t learn from losing to players much better than me.
@ yeah it was 100 player battle royale back then. You arent even supposed to win every 100 matches idk why newgens cant figure that out. Also your issue back then was probably that you never switched up your strategy and you got too greedy for kills back then
I like landing far away to just loot and enjoy the map in peace so i can sneak around late game. But now I am doing that with 4-5 bots landing with me in the most remote places lol.
people don't understand that having the average player be good enough so that you barely win each fight actually makes it feel more og than anything else
@@cayben8865 i just do what i always did in og and just hide. bots have conditioned people to think they are a really good player when 90% of their kills are bots. but with sweats, i personally think the term sweat should be used on the people who play fortnite exclusively and have the biggest egos of all time, like genuinely what kind of insult is "ur just bad cuz ur mad" how does that even make sense, you are going up against an 8 year old on controller. (i am referencing some annoying kid from my friends school who literally dropped out of high school for fortnite no i am not kidding)
I feel like those crybabies are always telling the sweats to touch grass or calling them unemployed but they are all the day complaining about sweats on a game in the internet, like dude is that better, and also if a player is good it doesnt mean he plays all the day, some people just has talent and thats it, and im seeing people starting to complain about sweats in zero build, maybe its undertandable to complain about sweats in build because they might abuse a little bit of the building mechanic (and even if they do that its not like they are cheating or something) but how in the earth you complain about zero build, like they just have good aim thats it, and also i see a lot of clips of people getting killed as soon as they land and everything starts hating the "sweats" for doing that and ruining the game, like dude what are they supossed to do dont kill you and let them get killed only because you cant enjoy a game if you dont win? The game is about killing people and surviving dude like wtf
The worst part about bots is when they suddenly get aimbot and waste ur health and then when u kill them wit a gun that makes a lot of noise, so u get 3rd partied.
I loved og without bots, and everyone was complaining because there was "no shield" and they got beamed all the time and couldn't get a win. Did they forget how hard it was to win in og? did they forget how everyone was low health in og? go watch someones og gameplay of season 1 and you will see it was the same as it is this season. The people who complain dont miss og, they miss the times, because when epic brings back og and its actually the same as it was 7 years ago, those people complain. And i have a feeling og is gonna get changed for the worse because of it, to the point it will be just as disappointing as chapter 2 remix.
The feeling of OG will never be restored. They can put stuff like Turbo Building and the new movement options that make the game better in, but they can’t js fucking add minis?? all to feel that feeling of OG? (which is never going to exist again?)
Before the bots were added to OG, I hadn’t had so much fun playing Fortnite in years. Knowing everybody I went up against was an actual real person really kept me on my toes. The complaints about “sweats” are pathetic. I’m not that good either but it’s a competitive game, and people are mad that others are competing?
Right? It's as if everyone else is trying to win as well and all the good players should just be a dear and stand still for the less fortunate who still somehow suck at an 8 year old game
The problem is that I’d say I’m decent at the game. I’m not a “sweat” but I’ve played for 6 years. All of the other players in the lobby run laps around me and I can’t do anything about it. I can’t play how I want to because I’ll just get immediately trashed on. There is sbmm, but mine is so screwed up I haven’t won a solo match in like half a month.
1:32 You make some good points, but there also wasn't turbo building in season 1. What made it fun back then was the fact that no one knew what they were doing. We used to build bases, not build battle
well, you can't just mindwipe everyone playing the game. people have gotten better at this seven year old game, you can't expect people to play the same. however, you should expect to play against real people at the very least, as that's how chapter 1 actually was.
@@DesktopYellow you don't have to wind wipe bro. Add in old movement and take away turbo builds. Won't stop people from being good, but the fast paced, coke-snorting style that characterizes current fortnite has no place in a mode claiming to be "OG."
@@huiba1 Removing turbo build wouldn't do much. Give it a week and people would be used to it. Some sweats would probably use an autoclicker that would mimick turbo build. There needs to be an OG ranked mode imo
I'm actually not good enough at the game anymore and cannot enjoy the OG mode. When there were no bots, i literally couldn't get to the top 50 like 9 times out of 10. But with bots, i feel completely empty and depressed playing the game. I just want to like this game, Epic. Also, if i ever come across whoever removed the ready up button, I'm going to kick him into the Sun.
Whiles its infuriating losing multiple times part of the charm of og was the simplistic nature combined with the brutal difficulty. You just werent looking at it from the right angle og fortnite is supposed to be hardcore fortnite
yeah honestly even though I was being sniped out of the air before I even landed most of the time, it was still fun to know that real people were the ones doing it and that it gave me a challange to overcome, now it just feels boring and too easy to win
no it wasn’t, yall are js lying. it would’ve been fun if you kept facing that person so you could counter their playstyle, but people play so vastly different that you can’t even prepare to fight them/outsmart them before you’re dead.
1:44 the difference between then and now is that everybody sucked back then. Nowadays there are massive skill gaps. How can a new player improve if they keep getting sorted into lobbies full of people with multiple years of experience? Sure, you can use training maps, but it’s not the same as learning through experience. For proper training, I believe that real people are required. Training from a person with experience who can teach and adapt to your skill level. Help you when you need help. Vs an automated training map which can only account for so much. However, if statistics are provided to prove that the automated training maps work, then it could be worth investing our time into. Then, training map devs can innovate and improve their training for future newbies and make it more effective and efficient.
My friend quit chapter 5 season 3 after getting Brite Raider because the cars were so bad. I hated the cars so much and was happy when they got nerfed and balanced. I mostly used bot lobbies + wastelander challenges that season to level up my battle pass and had a good time just going around and blasting bots. Especially since bots wouldn't get in vehicles.
“sweaty” refers to players that have no respect for memes or any other fun stuff. Not people who are simply trying to win. like, if i saw a skybase, i wouldnt break it because thats ruining the fun, but a sweat would shoot it down in an instant.
What? I was building a Sky base with my little brother Who did not get To experience tha og seasons 😢 and us gettin shot down was the most tense and alive feeling i have had In fortnite In like 5-6 years it is not ruining the fun it is adding To it
1:50 There is a massive difference between something that is “challenging” and something that is damn near impossible. Bots are a terrible addition, nobody benefits. But no SBMM means people who are logging on to have fun and win by building forts are getting violated by people who log on every day to practice build fights and boxing people in.
There is alway someone worse than you, so evetually bad players would get in lobbys ful of worse players than them and the would get ez win, win sbmm you have to try hard every game cous ppl are as good as you
i been playing fortnite legit since 2017. like week 1 beta on ps4. am i rlly good? hell no. im like decent at best. but do i complain abt sweats? hell no the games been out more than half a decade, 7 years like ofc people are gonna be good,. if youre trash then js say that rlly. if you get violated by players, practice in creative. learn to build, learn to aim good.
@@brefy to be honest, I do agree with this, The only alternative I see is nerfing building though, which if they did I hoped for everyone’s benefit it was a seperate mode
@@marqgz I do find it interesting a lot of people share the concept of “accept that people are better”. I ask you this genuinely, do you prefer the play style now, or do you prefer it how it was before? Personally I preferred the simplicity of shooting with base building. But what it is now, yes it’s a product of people getting better, but it isn’t base building anymore it’s something I and most people are not prepared to learn. I just think there needs to be some method implemented to let people play against people they want to play against, it takes 1 person in your whole lobby to be insane and the game is ruined cause u can’t win.
I don't think anyone was complaining about getting stomped by people better than them, it's the issue of people hitting a ceiling and feeling like they're unable to improve. It's very difficult to get into this game as a new player, since the first game you play, you'll get shitstomped by someone with 4000 hours in Fortnite and 0 on grass. That is ultimately a PvP game issue though, but people nowadays just aren't willing to try to improve. People go into games expecting to win with 10+ kills. It's just not the right mindset for a BR game. Bots make players contented. Sometimes it becomes a guessing game on whether or not the person shooting at you has a soul. You can't treat everyone as if they were a real player since sometimes it's not. That is the unfortunate reality of bots.
Long paragraph that could be solved by PLAYING THE BASE GAME. The BASE GAME has bots, no ones FORCING YOU to play OG, my dude. Seriously, you're ranting because you don't want to improve, or "cant" improve. That's such a dumb mindset, everyone can improve you're just not going to in modes that aren't meant for it. Play the base game, it's littered with bots who you can feel confident with, and then go against real ones. You WILL improve, you just can't expect IMMEDIATE improvement. Improvement isn't a scoreboard constantly gaining points, it's a gradual process that you can't notice. Stop using the lack of improvement for why a mode, free from bots, should dried up of it's features that makes it OG.
You actually see this mantra all over the game from Epic, a prioritization of the newer and more casual fanbase, because FN to Epic is a lot more casual than us diehards care to admit. People get so mad but it is the reality of what Epic is trying to do. There is no longer a "Main" mode for people to default to and they don't want to run the risk of new players hopping in one of their modes, getting steamrolled, and then getting disillusioned. Disillusioned people don't buy skins in the item shop, and anyone who is mad at bots have already spent their life savings on skins lul
The issue with bots is that they make the win the game to be fun a much worse problem. Bots are programmed to kill you, while the sweatiest sweat can have their ego appealed to and or abused. Many players don't play the game to win, but to have fun. The more I cared about winning, the less fun I had. That's because it's a BR and you're most likely gonna die. But it's worth it when the fight was interesting. Literally, the other day, the entire lobby dropped the Moisty Prison, got my nuts handed to me, but it's okay because I somehow traded 5 bandages to my killer and gave me a shield while I was down. Also, OG players are much more likely to do stupid things, I got killed trying to join someone in destroying flush factory. Bots are bad because they make the game less human. If I wanted a game where I wanted to stomp enemies in masse, I'd play ultrakill
Bro the first day of OG with no bots was the most fun ive ever had in a long time on fortnite, even though i was hiding and bushcamping the whole time. I dont understand why they would ruin the mode like this
I think skill based matchmaking is a good thing because it means that I dont have to fight someone and them totally dominating me with intense skill, but the bots need to stop, because bots are not what help players get better at the game, its people of skill level, you wonder why so many people are not as good, and complain about it, then go ahead and place bots in the game
it did feel like i was back to when i was a kid being absolutely terrified at everyone around me and absolutely sucking in the game but it became a lot less fun after a while i feel like skill based match making and a ranked mode wouldve made the problem better i dont know why theyd add bots when theres a very obvious middle ground solution when you add those two things
2:16 I remember back in season 9. The season I started playing there was a fortbite quest that was repeating the color order you saw. So when i did the quest, there was a line of people wating to finish the quest it gave a sense of community looking back at it.
@@brefy no, because after work many people including me don’t want to just go up against sweaty ass players who thinks they are going somewhere in life when they really aren’t. Also as for og the sweaty players who kept bitching about it returning finally get t9 experience what it was actual l8ke playing back then.
Better solution, remove bots from builds and keep them in zero build, I play Fortnite with my dad and I’m pretty sweaty but he’s not the greatest, and I know lots of other people prefer to have fun instead of sweating in builds.
The perfect solution guaranteed to make everyone happy: Add an option to disable bots, and everyone who chooses that option gets queued up with each other. Maybe turn it on by default, maybe turn it off. Theres more than enough players for this.
@@roytooshort I don't see how they could take advantage of this. It's either good players choose to stay in bot lobbies or go into player only lobbies. The worst thing that can theoretically happen is that the amount of good players in bot lobbies will stay the same.
"I wanna do quests" yeah, no, I got through every weekly quests even back in season 7, 8, 9 and X when there were no bots and I was BAD, I would celebrate when someone just let me kill them, most substantial (weekly) quests are scavenger hunts and usually don't require crazy skill, and for those that do you can just play team rumble (I know you can't play OG team rumble but I guarantee the skill ceiling won't matter as much in zero build) either way, stop complaining that you're bad, if you're a real casual that shouldn't matter
Knowing there were 99 REAL players in a lobby made wining that much better, now I feel soulless and dead when I win a match of fortnite knowing i didnt deserve to win because i killed 12 bots and 3 real players. At the end of the day its a BATTLE ROYALE and all of the people complaining about "Sweats" just have the attention span of a brain rotted 9 year old. Its sad to see what the gaming community is becoming and I hope change is in the distant future. Everyone has just became so complacent its silly. W vid and thanks for getting your opinion out there, there more people we get voicing opinions hopefully the quicker epic redo there mistake.
Yeah, honestly I wouldn’t mind if there was an option to toggle bots on or off. I do however hate being forced into lobbies with bots. They’re just 1s and 0s, unlike a real person with an actual soul who’s just trying to survive and win like you. There’s just something innately more enjoyable about playing with actual people, y’know?
I honestly hate seeing the excuse, "I am employed I don't have time to sweat this game". The issue with this excuse is that there are people with jobs or school that are still really good at the game. Also the point of the game is to get better, not to win every match because it is baby fed to you.
This game is supposed to be an escape, an online oasis for friends; they deviated from this path with the introduction of Turbo Building. When I can only play for 1 hour each day, I'm not going to get very good at the building mechanics, at least in relation to the modern player base. Zero Build feels like an entirely separate game, if I wanted to play a separate cartoony shooter without a building mechanic, I would play Apex. Fortnite is designed to have building. They can easily narrow the skill gap by reverting the building style/ removing Turbo Building. Instead, they are trying to entice OG players to transfer to chapter 6.
This has really killed my excitement for fortnite going forward tbh knowing that we're going to be stuck with bots forever that the game can never improve this because half the community will throw a tantrum
agreed, i've lost almost all motivation to keep playing this game. i would so much rather get a win with 2 real kills than a win with 35 kills that were all bots.
Seeing this entire debacle play out over twitter really confirmed my belief system i had after wrecked: The average fortnite player is pathetic. They need their hand held at every instance with the new op item or they need to win every game they play to feel like they accomplished something. One thing i adore about this entire debate which has occured is that what i call "twitter casuals": those envious of those better than them, these are the same people who throw around the word sweat, tryhard and unemployed to people like ninja (who is mid at best) these people also adored wrecked and hit literal pros with the 'just adapt lol' arguement, being exposed by other casuals who are now realising how fortnite is one of the only game where you get clowned on for being good and that alot of players are useless even though the game has been out for 7 years. I keep throwing the word pathetic around alot, but that's what this is, pathetic. Relying on bots to give you that dopamine rush of "haha i killed a player" is one of the biggest reasons fortnite has been going downhill with wins feeling less earned and more handed out. Remember when winning a match was noteworthy and people actually cared about your wins? That magic was finally back for the first time in years, and now it's gone because a subset of players who are missing thumbs were (and still are) complaining on twitter.
The double pump is a pretty cheap strat, considering you get better fire rate than the tac with pump level damage. The difference is that the double pump is iconic, and atleast takes some skill to use, it's not exactly op or cheap if you dunk evey round you fire at the enemies. The game doesn't just give you auto lock on the enemies heads that will guarantee every shot you fire is a max pump.
@@BlackHole-qv5no it is a videogame, we couldve been celebrating this game together. You know how pathetic you look in-game? Playing a casual gamemode like your life depends on it😂 So stupid man, yall are pathetic as hell. It was pretty common in the early days to give a win away for example, that wasnt the vibe with this mode, it felt like a tournament.
I don’t want to have to learn the newest advanced movement and glitches just to get a win. just because it takes you longer to do something doesn’t automatically make it more rewarding. Some people just want to load up into a game and play without someone building a 5 story mansion Your whole point boils down to suck it up buttercup. If you’re bad at the game that’s ok but If you dare complain about the amount of people that treat every game like a FNCS grand final then now I’m going to criticise you for it.
Bots have literally had 0 effect on any of my games. 90% of the time im going up against players playing like its the next fncs and have encountered maybe 5 bots within the past 2 days. If your getting 90 bots in your lobby then you clearly need them, and if your mediocre or good at the game, the 10-20 bots in your game are wiped out the second you land by other players which is what usually happens in matches anyway. What i dont like are bots in normal battle royal because theres far too many, but in og it hasnt been an issue at all
As someone who switched to playing less frequently ever since the drop of chapter 2, I hadn’t had as much fun in Fortnite as I did on the first day og than all those years ago in chapter 1. Yes, I was getting absolutely shat on and I fumbled so many top 10s, but I was having fun. The feeling of a top 10 making me get nervous returned, which is something that I never thought would happen. I legit was fearing for my life when I saw those og battle pass skins. One of the best things they’ve ever done for the game so of course it had to be ruined. And then ranked will not be all that much fun either because sbmm in a battle Royale still makes zero sense all these years later
@@unknowncomrade5023 just kill the bots and go find the real players. Not like it’s you and 99 bots. I’m willing to guess you’re still playing it even tho they “ruined it”
you're so right bro i just want it to be difficult. A lot of people don't realize that when people only die once in a battle royale, an average player is only going to get one kill 🤯
I would get enraged at the aggressive players less if OG's drop didn't start by DISABLING READY UP. Every loss made me spiral more and more when I kept trying to get into a groove and instead had to wait 3-8 minutes to log into another match. Cool, I'll walk off and do something else, but then I'll come back to some bullshit like glide-falling into the ocean or, even worse, already being dead because the ocean water kills you
You got it wrong, look at the player count lol. It started dipping like crazy, then they added bots and it went even more down. However, the changes are needed. Turbo build and og movement to be exact
Bots literally turned the game mode from a good 10/10 experience to an average mid bot game mode 😭😭 Fortnite does something good, people complain, and they take it away 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
If they suck so bad they can play party royale if they wanna "chill and relax" or better yet play team rumble if you have a problem surviving in a BATTLE ROYALE.
you just couldn't adapt and improve. the skill ceiling was so low without turbo build. just because you aren't as good as other players doesn't mean you should complain about features that developer gives you. you are meant to be good at the game not try to change the game to better fit your mindset of if i'm losing, everyone shouldn't have access to a feature that makes them better than me.
@@brooklyn8745 I can and did adapt and still play build today just fine I just prefer the old build style more. Not a hard concept to grasp? Notice how I said “early days” referring to the initial years of the game. I just think the gameplay style of gunplay over building is more enjoyable for me.
Ever since bots were added to Fortnite my skill at the game has slowly but surely gone down how I know this is when I fight actual players I die I’m so used to the mindless shorting from bots that I literally think every engagement is going to be the same and that’s why it fails
“What do you want them to do? Do you want them to play shitty for you?” No for Epic to add SBMM so we can fight people who are on the same skill set as us. Imagine a high school boxer going up against someone like Mike Tyson in his prime, you would say that it would be unfair, so why do the same in Fortnite? Why would someone who only played the game for a week be paired with someone who has been playing the game since day 1 and is super goated at the game?
It’s a video game there are other ways to win I’m barley average but I’ve killed pro Fortnite players. I don’t think it’s physically possible for me to beat a pro boxer it’s a different thing
You're acting like you stand zero chance against these people. You can beat pro FNCS players if you strategize properly and play to your strengths, they are just as human as you are and will make mistakes.
Fortnite Players when they get put into a lobby with real players who are reasonably skilled at the game instead of 99 other bots😡(this must be the work of those dirty unemployed sweats and they have ruined the game)
Fighting against real people is more fun because you know that behind the avatar there’s a person fighting to survive and win the victory royale just like you. With a bot, it’s just 1s and 0s, it’s soulless. The best solution is to be able to toggle bot lobbies on or off, that way everyone wins.
All they have to do is add a switch to turn bots on and off before you select the game mode like how tanked has a toggle rather then forcing bots on us problem solved
Man I was having a good time in no builds and builds by hiding and well almost winning but people who complain should just move on because people don’t magically get more shit as you play so it’s better to shut up and accept people got better
It’s so hard to win OG, and that’s saying a lot considering I already have like 50 games in. The reason why is because I’m so used to relaxing in most of my games till the final 15, until now I guess in OG I’ve had to be locked in at all times. Bots make the game pointless, in ALL games. Take a look at R6’s “AI” bots. You can get them as TEAMMATES, which if you have 1 or 2 of these guys in your ranked match you can kiss your chance of getting to silver goodbye cause according to stupid ranked 2.0, once you get copper, you will ALWAYS start in copper. The gaming corporations have got to stop this behavior, they spend way too much time panhandling for money from micro-transactions and only getting more players into the game with cool and flashy updates. They have got to start administering to the big established communities they already have.
Tf u yaping about? They said higher skilled servers will have around 10 bots so who tf cares? Anyway the last ones remaining will always be real player so stop crying over a ESBR Everyone Game and grow up damnit
I’ve never learned how to build like a sweat and I’ve been playing since Chapter 1 Season 2. I’ve gotten 5 wins in OG so far. You also gotta think about strategy rather than just building to win in this mode
Bots were the main reason i left, WHY populate servers with bots if the players are there? WTF epic making L's and only able to bring back one vaulted W
well, i don’t want bots in my games, thats for sure. i do want it to be 100% real players. however, it is super annoying that super sweaty players dont just play Ranked anyways, since that mode is literally made for them. I just wanna do my memes in peace bro 😭😭😭
I was so glad Epic actually did everything for this season to feel OG, even not putting grapplers in like they did for the first OG season (I despise grapplers so I knew I’d love the mode). The games are actually intense and you walk for ages but that’s how it felt before and I feel like it’s a good change compared to everyone having cars or an op mobility items. Shoutout Epic for the great changes imo, but fuck the bots, makes it feel like your win is undeserved 🤷♂️
One of my friends acts like every real player needs to stand still and get shot like a shooting range target. Anyone who remotely moves he automatically considers a sweat.
Played OG builds today, killed 3 players in Pleasant Park, one was a bot, I didn't think too much of it. Considering I'm a "5 star hotel architect" I'm bound to come across similar-skilled players. My match had a gap of 12 minutes where I ran across loot lake to wailing woods (no action surprise surprise) 22 players and I killed 3 more bots that built a wall and ran in a circle ONLY THE OTHER 3 LAST PLAYERS were the only players that knew how to ramp rush and actually think I won in the end, but it felt more like an ordeal that it was finally over compared to my day 1 matches before said patch where I either died off spawn or saw people dancing on each other, leading to actual fights giving me the rush and excitement that ch1s3 gave me
i disagree, i hated regular battle royale with no bots back in the day and i almost exclusively played ltms because of it, im happy i actually have a chance to get kills and wins now
1:01 also skill matchmaking in every pvp game, playing againts people hundreds times better than you and getting curvestomped is not fun like playing against bot, skill matchmaking allows you play againts persons in your similar level, making every figth challenging but not frustrating.
Issue, bots and such precondition players to win in order to have fun. It was already bad before bots, but bots make it worse. Skill based also makes it worse. SBMM is great for team fps, but not for Fortnite because it you can literally camp three games in a row and now the entire map is made of doritoes(double corner edit roof pieces). I'm having fun in OG not because of bots nor winning, I won 1 game compared to 3 chapter 6 games. Yeah, I was salty when I got boxed. But that saltiness only remained if I was insta thirsted. Usually, people had a sense of humor or an ego to want to see my hope die when my teammate started losing the fight, and it's hilarious.
Its crazy how we had a bot lobbies and people complained like craaazy But the SECOND they cant drop a 20 bomb or something They BEG epic to add them back This sucks
Why are we punished for others incompetence? If i put more effort and time into your game i feel like my voice is more reliable and educated then just the casual playerbase.. especially with these pathetic wimps begging for ai
some dude was mad at me because i told him that people are gonna be better at him and why he shouldnt complain. Then they started calling me unemployed and saying that I ruined og fortnite. What do you want me to do? Stay trash at the game whenever i see a casual?
1:09 in terms of skill, I agree. It inflates your ego and makes you think you’re better than you actually are. Which is why I think there should be a toggle between lobbies that include some bots, and lobbies that don’t have ANY bots. That way, new players can improve their skill a little, in the early stages, and get free kill xp. Eventually, they’ll kill enough real players to actually improve at the game. However, I think it would be a good idea to also label which players are bots, and which aren’t. Sure, you COULD identify via signs of a bot, but that takes time and effort. Otherwise you could end up developing a strategy intended for real players, but accidentally train on bots, resulting in a flawed strategy. Bots are predictable. People aren’t.
What they should’ve done is precisely copy paste ch 1 sn 1, I get that it’s not the same as real of fort bc people have gotten better but that would be restricted by og movement and no turbo build, only things that could’ve been adjusted are the heal spawn rates and how much damage the weapons do, but that should’ve been the limit.
"Casual" players when they got booted on a BR game from a player that actually tries: *What a sweaty player! How dare they Try to win in my lobby on which I want to win too but don't want to exert effort into it because I'm a "Casual" player*
what i dont understand is that these people actually find fighting bots fun? ive seen a ton of posts like "wow im having fun in og now!" and im like. how? bots are literally programmed to miss 99% of their shots. they walk around aimlessly and pickaxe shit for no reason. but killing them is fun to these people? ill never understand that
@chips627 I'm not going to waste my time practicing builds just so I can have a slightly higher chance of surviving against people that are a hundred times better than me. It's not an obligation. I play this game to have fun, not to sweat my ass off in build fights.
@@ColossalKaiju you get better just by playing, you don't need to practice in creative or anything. Or just play zero build. There's also sbmm. There are solutions.
There is nothing wrong with bots, having them in the game makes it more casual. Some people want to enjoy the game instead of having to get cranked on by 10 year olds who no life the game you know
You can go play Chapter 6 or Reload for the more casual experience. There is no reason to ruin one gamemode out of three for the players don't want to play against bots. You are entitled to enjoying this game the way you'd like to, but there is no excuse for trying to force other people into enjoying it the way you want to. Because now there are no BR modes for people who want random matchmaking and no bots.
@@morgana_vr7802 The inclusion of so many bots on 100 player servers basically forces you to play a worse version of Reload anyway. Reload has a smaller map and special mechanics because there are only 40 players on the map, if you want a lower number of players per lobby so that you have a better chance of winning, that is literally what Reload is made for.
Bots are literally just used to fill out lobbies because it’s hard to always have 100 players it’s not that serious why are people so sensitive about having them💀💀
I believe that bots should exist if one of the teammates leaves the round, a bot is replaced with them to fill that gap. That is the only acceptable thing which is being done by other games as well
I don’t think bots should have been added, the sweats problem could have been solved by adding sbmm and ranked instead, that way all of the people who are absurdly good would be in different lobbies or ranked and everyone could have a good time. The whole point you’re making about people having a skill issue doesn’t really work IMO, because people of lower skill levels should still be able to have fun. If you’re always getting demolished by people better than you, that isn’t fun. Some people don’t want to put in the time and effort to get good, and would rather just play casually, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy the game.
I understand that people like bots. I understand that people dislike bots. But can we just get the OPTION to disable / enable bots or skillbased matchmaking?

The truth is bad players found out that without crutch items they can’t win

I’m a bad player because I don’t dedicate my life to Fortnite and only started in chapter five
“sweaty” refers to players that have no respect for memes or any other fun stuff. Not people who are simply trying to win. like, if i saw a skybase, i wouldnt break it because thats ruining the fun, but a sweat would shoot it down in an instant.

Bots are a terrible addition, nobody benefits. But no SBMM means people who are logging on to have fun and win by building forts are getting violated by people who log on every day to practice build fights and boxing people in.
SBMM is a slippery slope which has to be so fined tuned it’s ridiculous, got one to many kills in your last match? Here’s an unreal lobby good luck.
There is alway someone worse than you, so evetually bad players would get in lobbys ful of worse players than them and the would get ez win, win sbmm you have to try hard every game cous ppl are as good as you

Playing on console and realizing there is a pc player in the match 🥲
??
This whole paragraph is a corny nothing burger ngl
@DesktopYellow I wasn't even speaking for myself but okay

@@brooklyn8745 I can and did adapt and still play build today just fine I just prefer the old build style more. Not a hard concept to grasp? Notice how I said “early days” referring to the initial years of the game. I just think the gameplay style of gunplay over building is more enjoyable for me.
@@sullivan5127 zero build exists
Exactly, there is no excuse for why I am forced to play with bots when I don't want to.
Played the real mode for 2 hours, felt like real og Fortnite constantly giving out coms. Now it’s ruined
Man I was having a good time in no builds and builds by hiding and well almost winning but people who complain should just move on because people don’t magically get more shit as you play so it’s better to shut up and accept people got better
The fact people would rather win by killing ai than improving and winning authentically is so dumb
i’m just trynna enjoy the old map w the boys… not get better
worst part is nobody benefits at all, they didnt include bot only lobbies for players who want to sit back and enjoy the game,
It’s so hard to win OG, and that’s saying a lot considering I already have like 50 games in.
Adding bots and skbmm for certain players was definitely necessary.
I think there should be a version of battle royal for those who need it and then normal battle royal that isn't ranked imo
Aw hell nah Lay0 turning into MorePegasus before GTA 6 *HUMAN HEAD BONE EMOJI*
Is that a Matt Rose reference I see??
The community was never the same again after c5s3
"No movement and no mini sheilds" Thats how it was during season 1 days 💀💀💀
Yeah, much slower, I played the game, went through an old loot route. It was honestly like meditating and very refreshing
My match had a gap of 12 minutes where I ran across loot lake to wailing woods (no action surprise surprise)
22 players and I killed 3 more bots that built a wall and ran in a circle
ONLY THE OTHER 3 LAST PLAYERS were the only players that knew how to ramp rush and actually think
I won in the end, but it felt more like an ordeal that it was finally over compared to my day 1 matches before said patch where I either died off spawn or saw people dancing on each other, leading to actual fights giving me the rush and excitement that ch1s3 gave me
i disagree, i hated regular battle royale with no bots back in the day and i almost exclusively played ltms because of it, im happy i actually have a chance to get kills and wins now
1:01 also skill matchmaking in every pvp game, playing againts people hundreds times better than you and getting curvestomped is not fun like playing against bot, skill matchmaking allows you play againts persons in your similar level, making every figth challenging but not frustrating.
I agree that there should be skill based match making, since going against a pro would be way too hard
All they had to do, was balance it halfway ok, and then NOT. ADD. BOTS. HOLY SHIT THEY FUCKING RUINED IT IN ONE FELL SWOOP.
Usually, people had a sense of humor or an ego to want to see my hope die when my teammate started losing the fight, and it's hilarious.
tbh killing bots gives me the confidence to sweat at the end of the game against the other sweats.
Nah I just kill them and think that was a waste then I end the game with say 10 kills and I’m like damn i really only have like 4 kills
Its crazy how we had a bot lobbies and people complained like craaazy
But the SECOND they cant drop a 20 bomb or something
They BEG epic to add them back
This sucks
Why are we punished for others incompetence? If i put more effort and time into your game i feel like my voice is more reliable and educated then just the casual playerbase.. especially with these pathetic wimps begging for ai
they need to make an employed mode for the people that want bots
OG Fortnite failed nobody is playing it 😢
Only 400k people, no biggie
some dude was mad at me because i told him that people are gonna be better at him and why he shouldnt complain. Then they started calling me unemployed and saying that I ruined og fortnite. What do you want me to do? Stay trash at the game whenever i see a casual?
So i cant have fun winning matches just because they started playing before then me in a better device? Thats selfish af
I just got an ad for Fortnite OG on this video 😭
I stopped playing and came back for this mode used to kinda advocate for bots but after they were added I saw how shit 10-90 BOTS were
I think it be awesome if you had the option to turn bots off and let the baby boys play with optional ai
Not everyone plays video games 24/7
It’s allways a good day when layo uploads
"Casual" players when they got booted on a BR game from a player that actually tries: *What a sweaty player! How dare they Try to win in my lobby on which I want to win too but don't want to exert effort into it because I'm a "Casual" player*
what i dont understand is that these people actually find fighting bots fun? ive seen a ton of posts like "wow im having fun in og now!" and im like. how?
bots are literally programmed to miss 99% of their shots. they walk around aimlessly and pickaxe shit for no reason. but killing them is fun to these people? ill never understand that
It's almost like less skilled players enjoy being able to get elims and being able to get into fights without being destroyed within seconds.
So improve over time by fighting real people. You shouldn’t be accommodated for poor skill, you should be driven to improve.
Because it's frustrating fighting no life's that treat everything unranked as a tournament
@ chapter 6 season 1 yeah but I’d hardly consider Reload casual considering the try hards play that mode.
Yet another "the x situation is y" slop video. Great.
Yall want bots or sweats sheesh just be grateful OG is back 💀
We want to face players
I understand that people like bots.
I understand that people dislike bots.
But can we just get the OPTION to disable / enable bots or skillbased matchmaking?
layo is my inner thoughts being posted online, bc when he brought up the unemployed comments i was like finally someone who sees this goofy come back that everyones been using, and this video is everything ive been thinking about since og came out
Best part about it was there were no bots, I got a win and felt how special it was, but people complained they can’t get 20kill games and win with their eyes closed so they added them😭
