Honestly, I was never into k-pop bands or Korean actors, thought they look too metrosexual or made-up, I see their persona, not their true selves, it's all an act... I have enjoyed a few Korean dramas and k-pop bands but I have never felt any attractions towards them, no matter how good looking they are or how ripped their bodies are. I stumbled on to What's Wrong With Secretary Kim by chance December last year, didn't fancy Vice President Lee much, told myself to give the show a chance anyway, just watch at least one episode, if ain't good, I ain't watchin no more... Damn! my heart was in trouble after that... watched all 16 episodes in 3-4 days... then I just HAD to find out who that guy is! Discovered Hwarang after that... thud! So damn charismatic and manly... how? HOW does he do it?! WHO IS HE?!! Told myself they are just characters he plays, his personality could be like shit! ...Watched all his dramas/movies and interviews... Wow, he's such a versatile and extraordinary actor... but it was 2Days & 1Night and Youn's Kitchen 2 that made me fall in love with him... reality shows often reveal people's true personalities and Seo Jun is just amazing... he isn't like the characters he plays... yet he is... so cool and confident and charismatic on the one hand, yet so modest and humble and adorable on the other... He's hardworking, disciplined and diligent, has great work ethics and attitude and personality... what I love most about him is that everything about him feels so honest and natural... I find myself attracted to people or things that give me something I don't know I would like, it fascinates me, and Seo Jun is exactly that! I have tried following some celebs but soon after, I find something that is off putting about them. Wtih Seo Jun, the more things I discover about him, the more I like him. He doesn't have the typical good looks but god there's just something about him... how is he so damn handsome and attractive to me now??! I find his whole package so appealing... He doesn't even need to do anything, he just needs to stand where he is and he emits a presence, a magnetic commanding manly charming attractive presence... I see him and my heart just can't help but goes soft for him... sigh... he is so lovable and swoon worthy...
When I see good looking Koreans, my mind will start to wonder if they have had plastic surgery done... so sorry for the generalization but I just can't bring myself to be invested in fakes. I keep thinking that their babies will not look like them. I'd prefer their natural looks. I have never been drawn to Korean actors too.... until I discovered Park Seo Joon!! First of all, most importantly, he can act! He has only turned 30 and he's easily one of the best actors I have seen. Not every actor can do comedy, it's either you have it or you don't, Seo Joon is hilarious! Not every actor can do romance but Seo Joon can kiss a girl and send her to the moon, he's got crazy sex appeal. Not every actor can do action movies but Seo Joon has the height, built, strength, agility, intensity, charisma and innate abilities to take on physical roles... He can do awkward blank expression embarassing roles, he can do sad or touching or misunderstood roles and makes your eyes bawl... He has the versatility to do all genres and is able to sell any characters he plays and have perfect chemistry with all his cast members... and I strongly think that it's attributed to his natural vibe. He's so comfortable in his own skin and in his acting that the viewers reciprocate with what he portrays. Because he's just his natural self, he's perfect for variety shows like Youns Kitchen too, for example, he takes big bites of food without feeling self-conscious lol, I LOVE THAT! (Isn't he a perfect actor for food commercials? The way he enjoys food makes food look extra delicious and makes viewers feel famished and crave for what he eats! :)) He's not afraid to fail or make mistakes in front of the cameras, he's brave, he's persistent, he tries and tries until he gets it. He doesn't hide or pretend to be someone he's not, everything about him feels so natural, and these come across in his acting, it's as if there are no reservations or inhibition when he expresses himself..... He is able to adopt multiple personalities, change his body language, exhibits different quirks for the different characters he plays... I think he often achieves method-acting without even realizing it. I have read many comments from fans who have seen his shows since a few years back but have never noticed his appeal until recently. He's definitely an interesting one, a dark horse, being not that noticeable or popular or attractive at first, but he will manage to somehow creep into our hearts without us even realizing it. I love who he is. I love his posture, composure and stance. I love his 'aura'! :) I love it when he smiles and his eyes almost disappears... there's something so endearing about his smile :)... He has definitely got his own unique brand of handsome, charm and xfactor, and people with xfactor are always more interesting and exciting! With the success of Secretary Kim, topping best loved advertisements models, being the first Asian male model for Tommy Hilfiger, having 20 tv/movie offers at one time and having a knack of winning dream leading man roles, he's just going to get more successful, isn't' he? There will be no doubt that more and more people will discover and appreciate him. I for one is someone he has won over :) There are only a handful of actors and singers that I follow. Actors like Park Seo Joon with his special qualities that I connect with at a deep level are hard to come by, I have a feeling I will follow him for life..... :)

I didn't know there's such a charming and manly side to him, then I realized even the tone of his voice is deep and masculine... so when he switches to manly mode, I succumb... he is also able to go from manly to cute in like 2 seconds :)... when he switches to cute mode, I squeal :).... I lost track of how many times he made me laugh out loud, tearful, blush, and made my hormones surge in just these 2 dramas.... I'm in trouble too :') :)

I don't use Instagram but I had to check out his account and was surprised to see his followers have increased by 3.5mil! This guy is getting popular, not surprising cos he's such a fine actor, and attractive too! The new pic he posted yesterday made me laugh and shake my head in disbelief - it's a blurry black and white photo of possibly him from behind walking on the street at night holding a plastic bag.... wtf?! Just 1 day and that ambiguous/vague photo has nearly 800k likes?!?! LOL! I'm surprised I discovered Park Seo Joon actually, I don't even watch Korean dramas. The one and only one that I have watched was Dae Jang Geum (Da Chang Jin) and that was umpty years ago... It must be some cosmic attraction thing that led me to him lol... call it fate!

Wow, he's such a versatile and extraordinary actor... but it was 2Days & 1Night and Youn's Kitchen 2 that made me fall in love with him... reality shows often reveal people's true personalities and Seo Jun is just amazing... he isn't like the characters he plays... yet he is... so cool and confident and charismatic on the one hand, yet so modest and humble and adorable on the other... He's hardworking, disciplined and diligent, has great work ethics and attitude and personality... what I love most about him is that everything about him feels so honest and natural...
I find myself attracted to people or things that give me something I don't know I would like, it fascinates me, and Seo Jun is exactly that! I have tried following some celebs but soon after, I find something that is off putting about them. Wtih Seo Jun, the more things I discover about him, the more I like him. He doesn't have the typical good looks but god there's just something about him... how is he so damn handsome and attractive to me now??! I find his whole package so appealing... He doesn't even need to do anything, he just needs to stand where he is and he emits a presence, a magnetic commanding manly charming attractive presence... I see him and my heart just can't help but goes soft for him... sigh... he is so lovable and swoon worthy...
When I see good looking Koreans, my mind will start to wonder if they have had plastic surgery done... so sorry for the generalization but I just can't bring myself to be invested in fakes. I keep thinking that their babies will not look like them. I'd prefer their natural looks. I have never been drawn to Korean actors too.... until I discovered Park Seo Joon!!
First of all, most importantly, he can act! He has only turned 30 and he's easily one of the best actors I have seen.
Not every actor can do comedy, it's either you have it or you don't, Seo Joon is hilarious! Not every actor can do romance but Seo Joon can kiss a girl and send her to the moon, he's got crazy sex appeal. Not every actor can do action movies but Seo Joon has the height, built, strength, agility, intensity, charisma and innate abilities to take on physical roles... He can do awkward blank expression embarassing roles, he can do sad or touching or misunderstood roles and makes your eyes bawl... He has the versatility to do all genres and is able to sell any characters he plays and have perfect chemistry with all his cast members... and I strongly think that it's attributed to his natural vibe. He's so comfortable in his own skin and in his acting that the viewers reciprocate with what he portrays.
Because he's just his natural self, he's perfect for variety shows like Youns Kitchen too, for example, he takes big bites of food without feeling self-conscious lol, I LOVE THAT! (Isn't he a perfect actor for food commercials? The way he enjoys food makes food look extra delicious and makes viewers feel famished and crave for what he eats! :)) He's not afraid to fail or make mistakes in front of the cameras, he's brave, he's persistent, he tries and tries until he gets it. He doesn't hide or pretend to be someone he's not, everything about him feels so natural, and these come across in his acting, it's as if there are no reservations or inhibition when he expresses himself..... He is able to adopt multiple personalities, change his body language, exhibits different quirks for the different characters he plays... I think he often achieves method-acting without even realizing it.
I have read many comments from fans who have seen his shows since a few years back but have never noticed his appeal until recently. He's definitely an interesting one, a dark horse, being not that noticeable or popular or attractive at first, but he will manage to somehow creep into our hearts without us even realizing it. I love who he is. I love his posture, composure and stance. I love his 'aura'! :) I love it when he smiles and his eyes almost disappears... there's something so endearing about his smile :)... He has definitely got his own unique brand of handsome, charm and xfactor, and people with xfactor are always more interesting and exciting!
With the success of Secretary Kim, topping best loved advertisements models, being the first Asian male model for Tommy Hilfiger, having 20 tv/movie offers at one time and having a knack of winning dream leading man roles, he's just going to get more successful, isn't' he? There will be no doubt that more and more people will discover and appreciate him. I for one is someone he has won over :)
There are only a handful of actors and singers that I follow. Actors like Park Seo Joon with his special qualities that I connect with at a deep level are hard to come by, I have a feeling I will follow him for life..... :)

I don't understand why BTS's V mocked him as being ugly :(, the cast of 2Days 1Night labelled him Mr Ugly :(, and he thinks of himself as plain looking :(, and here I am, having a whole other reaction towards him and thinking, "this guy is fine af!"
When I see him, I become absorbed, oblivious to all the guys standing next to him :), only he tickles my fancy... He seems like someone who has a lot of integrity, is brave and confident, and competent! yet, he has so much humility.... every time I see him, I let my guard down (he has that effect on me)... he's so friendly and approachable he makes me feel comfortable and safe, and happy :) (his smile can heal all the sick children in this world :))
I marvel at his beauty all the time.... He's fit and has ideal model-like physique he's a standout!

I didn't know there's such a charming and manly side to him, then I realized even the tone of his voice is deep and masculine... so when he switches to manly mode, I succumb... he is also able to go from manly to cute in like 2 seconds :)... when he switches to cute mode, I squeal :).... I lost track of how many times he made me laugh out loud, tearful, blush, and made my hormones surge in just these 2 dramas.... I'm in trouble too :') :)
He looks so towering and majestic and kingly in Hwarang! So charismatic he brings people to their knees!
His character has got it all! He's exactly my fantasy dream kind of protagonist - tall and handsome, noble, has some secret identity, misunderstood, self-sacrificing, zero to hero, admired by boys, loved by girls, gets injured saving girl, girl tends to his wound, girl jealous of girl liking him, girl fight girl for his affection lmao...
I hope he gets to be in more period dramas, he looks so good with long hair and period costumes.
I watched Youn's Kitchen recently and laughed at the customer who was shocked that he had 4.1mil Instagram followers. I don't use Instagram but I had to check out his account and was surprised to see his followers have increased by 3.5mil! This guy is getting popular, not surprising cos he's such a fine actor, and attractive too!
The new pic he posted yesterday made me laugh and shake my head in disbelief - it's a blurry black and white photo of possibly him from behind walking on the street at night holding a plastic bag.... wtf?! Just 1 day and that ambiguous/vague photo has nearly 800k likes?!?! LOL!
