- African ( Ghana ) Village Life Revealed | Typical Daily Living in a Ghanaian Village , West Africa
In this video, I take you on a journey to a village in Northern Region, Ghana called Tamale. We experience real village life. We see a village kitchen , bathroom and the typical way of living in a village by people in the Fulani tribe of Ghana. The best part is that we get to interact with the village people. This is all part of my experience and journey back to my roots in Ghana , West Africa.
This video will particularly help africans in the diaspora, other nationalities including African Americans who want to experience life in Ghana, Ghana living and move to Ghana ( Africa ) .

@@estherserwaah4245 thank you 😊
We need longer Videos On RUclips they're too short we don't get the whole picture of the village or how they live everyday of everyday just eat some weed or something that's all you gave us

It’s amazing to be reminded that the simplest things in life are the ones worth it. The fact that we have life, and family around us, should be sufficient for us. P.s I was born in the Northern part. But left very young, hopefully one day I can go back. Make me a bit emotional watching it.
You hit the nail on the head hun ❤️
See you soon.
Being born in Haiti I fully understand about what is important, while I’m grateful for what we have, I want to show my kids what their heritage goes thru
I truly enjoy being in the Village. It gives me such wholeness that you can’t buy. My last time in Ghana, I spent about 75% of my time in the Village. I can’t wait to move back home and give my children this experience. It’s truly priceless
I most certainly agree!
Hi bro
If you want to earn money you can contract with me.
The Fulani family that used to herd my grandfather's cattle made powder out of the sweet yellow stuff in the dawadawa pod. You could just eat the powder like that or mix it with fresh cow milk . Everytime I visited the village, that was my favorite breakfast. I fetch my sweet yellow dawadawa powder in a Calabash and then walked about 100 meters to the herdsman's house to get my fresh milk.
Best morning routine! 😄🙅🏾♂️
Sounds like a treat. I’m going to try this for breakfast
This is very interesting sis🥰🥰🥰
Yessssssss village life💃💃💃💃
You're doing an amazing job👏👏👏
#ItsAkuaDimples🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for showing the real village set up in the north. You've reminded me of the yellow fruit the kids were eating. We call it Doruwa in hausa, and Duari in Dagomba, you can also take out the the yellow part grind it into powder form and make porridge with it, is very nutritious. You can find it in the Tamale market. The black seed inside is washed and fermented to produce the dawadawa (seasoning) for cooking.
Life in the village very simple and natural
Thank you Akua
Africa to the world 🌎one love keeps us together ❤Ghana 🇬🇭 we are the giant of Africa 🌍
A truly immersive experience all around!! A simple way of life but every bit as rich and purposeful as can be. Nice one Akua👍🏾

Yay what a lovely contrast. I loved inthe village in Domincan Republic and Haiti. Yes there's perks everywhere. Thanks for another lovely entertaining educational video
I'm bevebeing on IG
Thanks hun ❤️
Akua today U went to one of my favorite places in Ghana. I live there for 2wks and didn't want to go back to Takoradi. I love the simple living. What U seeing there is no different from what U see now in LA, California and other major cities in the USA. I just love Ur vibrant energy and how U respect the. Our people will never shit in a busy train station with the police 2steps away.
We have to be grateful in life 💯
Great video once again. Happiness is simple and definitely free.
Village life in Uganda was my favourite! Love it ❤️
This is so interesting 😃
you all are so happy . i like to see you .. Great Vlog
Good wisdom and insight!
You are right ,simple life and happy. As compared to the west full of stress.
Hi, Sister Akua, man when we live in our communities no matter our ups and downs they never give up the fight.
My sis you are still in Tamale, where our farmers work so tirelessly breeding the cows, growing wheat, maize, mango etc.
The world is wide and there are many places I want to see .... good video thank u Akua..form Seoul
Thank you 🙏🏾
Real village experience
💯
Nice one my sis ❤🥰👍🏾
thanks for ur nice video. Hope u will more details
Nice one 👍
Keep shining sis !!!!
One love sister beautiful village I'm from fulani Senegal one family
One love bro ❤️
One cow sells for over 1,000 ghs. So with 3 cows you can come up with a well and do some gardening and greenery stuff. Don't live like "if God is willing "attitude. You can turn the place into a Paradise literally.
Always got to discover something impressive from ya lenses .... Awesome content 👏🌹🌹💥
Thank you 🙏🏾
Village life is very precious.
Indeed!
Interesting
do you want to leave simple life?
let me know, if we can....
The only thing I disagree with you is about the chocolate comparison. My money would be on the chocolate as their choice if they could choose lol. Great video, I really enjoyed these Temale videos, hopefully you show us other part of the city or their market.
🤣🤣 chocoholic! I’ll most certainly bring you more from the north including upper east and upper west.
Amazing
Yes you Speak the Truth
You bath at night Mz Dimples. Hahaha they have alot of Kids with 6wives. Lots of cattles. Not really food but snacks. You are blessed thanks for sharing
🤣 thanks for the tip. I’ll wait until everyone’s asleep
Very nice.
very good.
This is the life I am going to live. This Living is for the rich in Canada and many rich areas.
Technology and the newest lifestyle is for the hustlers. Folks no stress is in this village. But with all the technology you all owe people money and are stress like nobody. Folks this village life is the greatest.
We all grew up at some point in a such an environment, I did also. But technology and civilization has made it possible for us to enjoy basic things in life that kings of the past never could. Please don't live like our forefathers.
Wow they happy. .Godbless
We forget the most important things in life. Which money can't buy. I always tell my children, that is just a journey to a better place. We can't bring anything with us. So enjoy what God has created for us. Things and stuff, are just that. True happiness is enjoy what was given to us by God.
Exactly! It’s so easy to take things for granted in such a fast paced world.
I can live that lifestyle; composing toilet, earth bag home or house built from recycled plastic bricks/ blocks. And well for water. Our grandparents and great grandparents didn’t have plumbing in 1920 and early decades. Most plumbing and sewer lines in the U.S. are under 60 years old and are collapsing or being repaired in certain neighborhoods.
See is right
Hi,this is the second video I am watching of you. truly liked your personality and presentation. Village life becomes more beautiful when they have basic necessities like better homes, clean water, primary education, and health care services etc. Kids sleeping in the open air and eating food in the mud are pathetic. When there is rain what will they do. Their lives are not as beautiful as you say.Bring their needs before government .Anyway love from Indian state Kerala.
We don't know how we are blessed these people don't ask for much.
Unique
Thanks
@Akua that are baby sheeps and one baby Goat. Especially the one you touched is a Sheep.
the food is called tonbehton in kru / Liberian. it is a superfood..
I come from a rural black American farming community. I did not learn about TVs, fast food, stereos, and smartphones until I attended university. The families showcased in the video lead noble lives because they have not been contaminated by technology. Technology is pervasive. And western values are even more pervasive. Look at the babies enjoying the sweet taste of dawadawa, as opposed to snacking on an artery-clogging serving of McDonald's french fries. The families of this village have something that we in the diaspora long for: Peace.
Very Moving
My kind of thinking
The ancestors lived like that 400 years ago when they were slaves in the Caribbean. The newer generation build modern homes on the land now with indoor plumbing and electricity. Those areas are still country but modern with fruit trees. I heard the government makes it illegal to have out door toilet too. Blessings to these people.
Very nice viD🌹you did a wonderful presentation 🥳 but honestly...I'll stick to only (1) wife for now 😊
is that your choice or your wife’s 🤣🤣
@@AkuaDimples Actually I'm single, my choice.
Insha Allah, as a Black ⚫️ Man ⚫️ 👨🏿 from America 🇺🇸 I would love to spend a few nights 🌙 with my people in any village in anywhere Africa 🌍. On my way to visit Ghana 🇬🇭 real soon.....in 2023.... I love my black ⚫️ people.. The United States of Africa 🌍 is our achievable goal... 🎉
Just curious--have you met that other female RUclipsr from Tamale? I was just watching her videos.
No I haven’t. Not sure if I’ve heard of them
@@AkuaDimples I think there's a couple of female RUclipsrs from that particular area.
Akua does not care how much cow poop is there, it counts that the village people are happy she's there..
😊😊
❤
👍👍👍
Hi Schatz 💋💋💋♥️♥️🌹🌹👍🥰🙋🇩🇪
No virus no gutter no mosquito
That is dawadawa the kids were eating.
The part of Ghana that the media dont show and also they dont get much help from the government. At the end the family they have is all what they need .
This is certainly still Ghana and we need to celebrate it more
These people may have more money than you. A family may own over thousand cows but will not sell them. They value the cows more than physical money.
@@agoogo5026 dont get the story she's telling here wrong, she's just appreciating how they live and glad she can experience this with them, she isn't degrading anyone there and even though there's a language barrier, I can tell these people are happy to have someone they are not used ,is just like anyone of us,they would open their arms to welcome anyone who visit. We the individuals seeing these parts of Ghana that isn't shown often, it just touches you in way that is not easy to explain. Akua you are doing amazing with showing us these parts of Ghana. God bless you and continue to have an Amazing impact on everyone you meet, you dont know how much impact you have on us,who cant visit the mother land as we want.God bless you❤🙏🏾🙏🏾
They only survive by the grace of God
❤❤💋💋💋💋
You said a mouth about having Everything in the world but all y'all women are beautiful tho
Same here in America. Just call em poor.
Akua please make sure you learn the language before leaving 😁
Eiii!!! This is a real challenge 🤣
Hey, what happened with the guy that stole your land documents? I really hope he got what was coming t o home and you got your stuff back.
He says that the seeds are used for other things so you throw it on the ground??? Open eyes, and ears and let's all stop wasting so much💗
London girl in the village.
Great summary 😊
These are not indigenous Ghanaians, these are nomadic Fulani people or a nomadic group of similar origin. Their cultures and way of life tend to be different than the countries in which they reside in. They’re “indigenous” to the Sahel region of Africa, more than anything.
But nice video nonetheless.
My sister, you could see that, one man with a different waves, but they leave a simple life.
So, if man marry one wife, and yet, she is not going him peace mind, what benefits will he get?
This families are good examples of all women's, weather you are white, black, green, yellow every woman is woman. The rest depends on us!!
Women's need to submit and learn something from here. Given your husband pressure is not the issue, it's can slove your problems!!
What are you still doing in the village 🤣🤣
🤣🤣
Let me ask you a question, I'm married to a Ghanaian woman, you say that material objects don't matter that much. Well, something ain't right coz my wife, even though she's an amazing mother and woman, likes to at least dream of the high "Westernised" lifestyle. Don't tell me, you're happy with simple, village life, because you guys are dreaming lol..😅
We’re happy with village life for a selected period of time and then a bit of a western reset 😊😊
Find the problem... HUSBAND AND HIS, HIS, HIS WIFES !!!
But are they really happy in this life? It looks so hard to me. A lot of time spent crouched and bent over, working so hard for the basics. No table to work on, or sit at. The children do not look so happy to me. They spend a lot of time wandering around and observing what goes on. No real education or fun. This is simple life but a hard life. I would not want this for myself or my family. Don't they want more, since they enjoy getting subscribers and donations from youtube observers?
Wives you say? 🤔🤔 say no more
Lol
🤣🤣
Next time get someone to explain things to you that way you are not guessing
Very interesting👍👍❤
Thanks 🙏🏾
