In the almanac you can see the stat and description of your unit and the enemy. The blue shield icon is defense, for example if the unit takes 20 dmg but have 5 defense it takes 15 dmg instead. The green icon beside the defense is resistance and its almost the same as defense but use percentage, for example if a unit takes 200 dmg but have 50 resistance it will takes 100 dmg instead. Also you can buy different cannon and bank by clicking the cannon or bank in the shop and it cost like 200 bricks (invesment is great for boss stage so try to get that).
Btw you can buy cannons and banks which cost 200 bricks each and to find them click on where you go to upgrade your base then just click on cannon and banks and you’ll find them there also may have to scroll to the left since there’s more banks and cannons

here are some tips about chapters certain units has a anti-trait, when using these certain units on other chapters, they deal 25% more dmg and has 25% resistance to them i recommend clicking the tumore gear aka the purple gear once you maxed out all of your units and beaten chapter 3 i also recommend to buy banks and cannons as they are useful red traits has more hp and a rage mode at half hp, when they are, they get a massive boost of their stats, this is indicated by a red explosion, it also dmgs your friendly units chapter 3 is black traits, they have lesser hp but has a massive buff to their damage. i recommend to use special units for chapters 1-2 and gacha units for chapter 3 when you beat a chapter, you get to play it again, in another difficulty called stars, they give a buff to all stages aswell as bosses themselves, when beaten in normal or in that hell difficulty, you get a badge battler, which are very good as in their normal forms and alt forms, they can help you in later stages officer battler is very good as they scale their damage based on the enemy’s attack damage and speed, its more better when at its alt form psi is very good for chapter 3 as he shreds through enemies, with 2k cash to deploy him, he is really tanky dont forget to also upgrade your base like base hp, which is used for strats that need to tank hits i suggest to get investment bank as it is good (if you dont have tix collector or b money) for boss stages lastly, you do need to also get some backliner killers as they are important to kill enemy backliners that is all, hope you see this tips

Also you should do the hard difficulties on chapter 1 on 2 star and 3 star because if you beaten all of the stars on chapter 1 you get the Lil' version of the final boss in that chapter you’ve beaten this also includes on chapter 2 and 3 also since you’ve beaten chapter 1 you can now upgrade your units to lvl 15 and your bank upgrades too which means every time you beaten a chapter you get to lvl up your units another 5 lvl's
baller battler projectile has enough damage to go through most armor types (I recommend beating easy bosses for good XP rewards, spam the hell out of cash upg)
Use your bricks to buy the special units/battlers first, their more important than the gacha units! Also upgrade your max money so you can actually upgrade ur base at level six lol
you should get speed coil battler and max em out to make good dmg but also average knockback (lvl 10 dual speed battler | 114 dmg | speed 16 stud | 1.5 cd | hp i forgor | knockback 2 stud)
