Grand Tetons was cool. I loved the Grasslands National Monument in S.D. and Green River, Dutch John Utah for the awesome fishing. I couldn't get a spot in Custer but it's on my list. So many cool places. Visiting Gettysburg was awesome too. Thanks for sharing!
What a great video on Yuma. Did you make it out to Senators Wash or experience the jets at the Military Base. Yuma us a great little ace to winter. We rent a private lot with full hookups out in the Foothills as we aren't resort folks.
As you can see from the video title we aren't resort fold either haha. We did experience the jets a couple of different nights. One night they flew so low the rocked our RV and set off a bunch of car alarms in the RV park.
Glad you guys got to experience Yuma - the only time I’ve been there was as a kid... in July! We just ordered ourselves a generator... looking forward to trying out boondocking and dry camping for the first time!
@@MountainBeaches ended up getting the Firman 3200W generator from Costco. Overall seemed to be the best bang for the buck, especially with as infrequent as our camping trips are. But there are some winery harvest hosts just over an hour from us we’ve been wanting to check out - this will be perfect!

How do you guys haul your Lectric bikes when you travel? We have a Reflectiion 303RLS as well and were looking at a couple of ways but would like to hear yours. Thanks!
We still deciding what’s best. So far we’ve had them both inside the cab with the back seat folded up, one in the cab and one inside the trailer and also both folded up inside the trailer. None are great option.
@@MountainBeaches sounds like the same ideas I had. We bought a couple of totes at Lowes that they fit it perfectly. Was thinking of taking out the table and putting them there when we travel while in the totes. Was hoping they would both fit in the cab when the back seat is up as well but not luck. I really want to stay away from a bike rack on the trailer’s hitch because that’s the was we traveled in the past and our old bikes took a beating especially when it rained while driving. Really enjoy watching you guys, maybe we’ll see you on the road sometime!
I was there and visited those places in November 2020, my dad had passed and wanted his ashes spread in the deer there where he spent many winters in his RV.

@@MountainBeaches thanks for the response. I just purchased a 2021 Reflection, they come standard with the tankless water heaters now. I’m trying to find folks who’ve done cold weather comping (freezing conditions) with a tankless system. It seems to me they would be more susceptible to freezing than the old “tanked” units. Love your content...always enjoy seeing what you all are up to.
@@StAnthony_Catholic that's very interesting. I'm wondering if tankless is their plan for the future or just for now because there is a shortage of regular RV water heaters. I don't see any mention of it on the GD website.
@@MountainBeaches I’m not sure if it is temporary or not. You are right, there’s not mention of it anywhere by GD, at least that I could find. I only learned of the change because we visited the local dealer to take a look at one of the floor plans we were considering and when walking around the unit, it caught my eye and I thought, that looks different. The salesman said they were all coming in that way now. I used it for two nights on our way back home from the dealership and it worked well. I’m just worried about it freezing in cold weather conditions.
@@MountainBeaches I am having to isolate because of getting covid while I have been here! There are 4 different variants in this area and the Dr doesn’t think I would do well if I got another but I have to wait 68 more days before I can be eligible for the first dose of the vaccine because of antigens. So I am just staying in! But I am at a beautiful RV resort so that is nice!
It’s a family owned restaurant. Chile pepper is the other location(they use the same recipes) The bean and cheese burritos and rolled tacos with the salsa is a perfect lunch. It’s simple but authentic!
I didn’t know the flea market is still open?!?! I live here and I swore it was closed... it’s probably very empty since covid but it usually not as bad other years as it looked in the video lol
@@MountainBeaches i miss walking around there as a kid and up until about 3/5 years ago! It used to be very cool and even had live animals with entertainment for adults and kids with live music as well. It was actually fun during the weekend and always had different guest performances or just locals but the music was almost always live..

Does your RV have any 20 amp breakers? I like the idea of the incinolet toilet but I think it requires a 20 amp dedicated circuit.

No it did not. Just a side note, we’ve never had a problem of running out of hot water either.

It was the very end of the season. The vendors looked ready to pack it in. Several told us 2020 was horrible and that this year was worse.
