As usual, a really great review 👌🏼. Thanks and congratulations, you’re really good at it. A question: Is the tower really going to stop working? (multiband)
Hello, a question, about my watch, just like this one, the analog hands do not allow me to calibrate them, they do not move, it does not mark the hour, the second hand is the only one that works, the minute and hour hand does not, and when I try to calibrate, I only have the second hand, and the little one that sets the alarm, but not the minutes and hours. The battery marks Full. What can it be? What I can do? Thanks

I want to get back into G Shocks but there are so many that I like, and they aren't cheap, either. The full metal square B5000 on black resin looks superb, but I'm wary of being able to read the negative display at a glance at night. This Gravitymaster looks very legible and has a digital display, and I'm wondering if it has the same kind of Bluetooth functions as the B5000 Square. Do you have any thoughts or recommendations?
Definitely go for a positive screen if readability is important to you. There is a regular square coming out in a few days that is all resin but uses the same module as the metal squares. I will be getting one and featuring it on the channel
@@WatchGeek I ended up getting a GW-B5600 with gold positive display soon after my original question here, and a year later, got the GMW-B5000 with negative display and beautiful blue steel case. I wear the blue steel square all the time, and the resin square when I want something hardier and low profile. The negative display doesn't bother me, and if it's too dark to read the negative display, it's too dark for the positive display anyway. The backlight on both is very effective. I'm still very tempted to get a blue GRB100 Gravitymaster for the dual analogue/digital display, flight logging and overall fun. Thanks for producing such a great channel.
Depends on where you live. Gwg is solar atomic so if you live within the range of the atomic towers you get a self charging and self adjusting watch. If you don't live within the range you might as well take the GSG as it is the same but lacks self adjusting. The GR-B will be self adjusting if you pair it to your phone, but unlike the first 2, you will have to change the battery as it's not solar
Citizen, Seiko and many Swiss brands have this great issue. The second hand having miss alignment with the second mark. Which for people who have OCD can drive us crazy. When I am buying a watch, it's the first thing I pay attention on.
Try to disable location data in the app, as it is used for flight log function, which you'll probably never need, while disabling it makes the app spend A LOT LESS power on some phones

"I have a 6.9" wrists, fits my small wrists well." Here I am with child-sized 6" wrists lol
Haha, I consider 7.5" normal size 😁
Ah. My curse as an Asian haha
I have small wrists, and despite this model being quite large, it fit well on me. Haven't got one yet, but thinking about it.
I have this in blue it's a very nice watch
Is the blue color of it shiny? Interested to buy the blue one and is it stainless steel?
Jb Vagay yeah
I’d like to know if it vibrates when I receive calls. I keep missing calls and love the feature when the watch vibrates like the Apple Watch.
I don't think this one has any notification features
how much this g-shock ?
nice video but personally i like digital ones better
I know the watch is solar. But the instructions indicate the battery lasts 2 years. Is this a misprint?
It can last for 2 years if left in dark
they should use that lcd for the gw5000 series
That would be sick
How do I mark my spot with the flight log ?
I did a detailed tutorial on all the functions as well
does it tell temperature and compass ?
Nope
Yes it has ABC sensors with thermometer
@@WatchGeek really? I think it has ABC
Second hand at least meets the markings what you can not say in many Swiss watches 😜
Citizen, Seiko and many Swiss brands have this great issue. The second hand having miss alignment with the second mark. Which for people who have OCD can drive us crazy.
When I am buying a watch, it's the first thing I pay attention on.

Very good review.
Thanks 😊
Great looking watch
How Use Auto Led Light Face?
Check out my detailed tutorial on the same model
Nice watch👍
John Kricfalusi doing reviews!!? It works for me.
Is this solar power?
Is this really your question? Have you even STARTED to watch the video as literally 25 SECONDS into the video it clearly states what it is
@@WatchGeek rude
Now, the green and the blue one are available from 165,-€...
Stand: 21.03.2019
I wish there was a way to be able to do a time sync via bluetooth without the need to have an app running and eating my battery 24/7.
Try to disable location data in the app, as it is used for flight log function, which you'll probably never need, while disabling it makes the app spend A LOT LESS power on some phones
thankyou for the video
Can you review the GPW2000? :D
Those are hard to come by
For your information all towers used for Multiband Technology will begin getting taken down in the year 2021.....
Hello friend!! I just want to ask your opinion about the older version of this watch the GWA-1100-1A. I saw it on sale at the casio store near my area for the equivalent of 400 USD. I know that its almost 6 yr old model but Im kinda interested. May I ask for your advice?? will you recommend buying it??
That seems kind of steep
@@WatchGeek That is exacly what I said to the salesperson, I asked why that price for a 2013 model watch and he said that amount is already the clearance price of the company. I just purchased the GRB 100 bluetooth GravityMaster last December thats the reason for my interest in the GravityMaster line up. I went there (casio store) to check the GPW2000 but I find it too big for my wrist and this GWA-1100 fits right in my wrist. I really cant decide, what do you think??
@@WatchGeek I went back to the Casio Store and haggled a little bit. They gave it to me 352 USD including tax.
Super video....
#suggestion: Could you please compare GBA-800 and GRB-100 please?
