If he gets through merab I honestly don’t see anyone in his weight-class taking that belt from him! I think him vs merab will be very competitive. Perhaps after two more defenses at 135 like this he’ll have some competition at 145 for him

Could definitely see him vs. Merab being a 5 round banger. He’s definitely going to have some serious competition at 45, starting with Ilia lol

@@kneeonbellypodcast exactly! 5 rounds with a cardio monster constantly pressuring his next moves might get Sean out of character and slip up. But who knows he always seems so relaxed and so focused. I hope they book it sooner than later!

Everyone hates on this dude. Look at his walk back to the dressing room in his last fight

Sean is actually a horrible matchup for merab. I predict Sean by first or second round knockout. And it will be brutal too. He’s too good

I am never a champ hopper. I hate fans like that. If I am being honest I think he crushes Merab. I think the only style who is a contender with him is Cory. I have noticed one flaw that Sean has in his game and it is not easy to expose. When he gets against the cage he goes wide with his hands and pivots as a juke. An uppercut and a right kick or quick knee could catch him and Cory could do that. Then the problem is how do you back him up that far while avoiding his reach. He is a hard problem to solve. Merab can threaten the take down ,But Aljo did not have many attempts. It is the only hole I have seen in his game from watching all his fights. If it was myself I would blaze those uppercuts and the knee or a right kick.

If he's in his prime he needs to deal with Umar Nurmagomadov now so there's no excuses. Umar can test his wrestling and grappling. Make it happen Dana!!

@logangroff6326 that sounds exactly like what they kept saying about Islam Makhachev. While people secretly dodged him left and right.

Probably yeah. As long as the UFC keeps giving him easy fights/ perfect match ups he'll be around. The UFC peaked long ago, most of the fights are trash now.
