Thanks for this, didn't know about the naming convention that should be helpful for the future. Small note, you don't need to export your AO in order to fix it in photoshop , you can do it straight in painter, just add a ambient occlusion channel to your document, add a fill layer, turn off all of the channels on that layer aside from ambient occlusion, add your AO bake into the AO slot on the layer and paint away. Also be sure to set the Ambient Occlusion mixing mode to "replace" under the channels tab.

Just use ignore backface property with proper name convention under the AO baking tab. You won't face the any AO problem when u use floater technique.
