I prefer tome vs easy damage over a few extra stacks vs easy matchups so I can look for solo kills. In matchups with low kill pressure mana crystal would be better.
A good Zed will at least make it a mind game in his favor to dodge the silence, but even if you do silence him, at best you can survive the lane, he will always beat you.
@@petardjordjevic2867 By the time you've used 3rd ability to proc the EoN shield a decent Zed has already full comboed you. A good Zed doesn't even need EoN, it's just a win-more. But to be fair I should gave given up this convo at "bruh".
It really just depends on the match up tbh, like if your playing against a easy match up like Aurelia sole, Vex, Lux, Veigar, Fizz, Brand, Corki you will probably be able to skip rod of age

He is fine into tanky comps too but you should go Rod of Ages instead of infinity orb
